I am so happy we found Robert Hall and Sons!…read more We had a very old, but still working, HVAC system. This summer, after going through our warranty company for a check-up, the technician ended up blowing our compressor. We then spent four visits trying to get the AC working again. It never did. Unfortunately, we realized too late that we had been completely scammed. While trying to get it fixed in August, we were also ghosted by another company right in the middle of a heatwave. Needless to say, I was stressed and overwhelmed. At that point, we decided to replace the entire system because we no longer trusted putting more money into repairs. That is when we called Robert Hall and Sons. Mike came out for an estimate, and right away, we felt like we were in good hands. He patiently answered all of our questions and, true to his word, we had a written estimate a few hours later. The estimate we received was beyond reasonable. After we submitted the signed contract, we were scheduled for installation about a week out. A few days later, I saw that another extended heatwave was in the forecast. After everything we had just gone through, I was not prepared to go through it again without working AC. I explained the situation to Mike, along with our HOA requirements, and he worked with us to make sure everything could be done as quickly, quietly, and efficiently as possible. His crew was amazing. They worked quickly, but thoroughly, and had the entire system installed in under three hours. I honestly could not believe how smoothly everything went. I cannot stress enough how professional Mike has been throughout this entire process. After the nightmare we had just experienced with other companies, it was such a relief to finally deal with someone who was honest, responsive, and did exactly what he said he would do. We now have a new HVAC system, a cool house, and peace of mind. Most importantly, we trust that if anything does go wrong, Robert Hall and Sons will be there and make it right. I would absolutely recommend Robert Hall and Sons. After everything we went through this summer, finding a company we can actually trust means everything.

We received multiple estimates and Sasoun stood out from the pack. He was quick to get parts and repair before an upcoming heatwave. We always appreciate how prompt and honest he his with any questions or issues we have with our systems. We also used him to install mini split in our garage. Every job we have done with Sasoun we have been very happy with. Found Emin on Yelp March 2026 when the upstairs AC suddenly stopped working, and Emin was there right away and was able to diagnose the problem, replaced a capacitor and got the unit working again. Then the downstairs AC wasn't cooling last weekend. Emin wasn't available so I called another contractor who took one look at the video of the furnace making weird noises and concluded the motor needed replacing, but that he couldn't find the motor anywhere, etc etc and it was such a hard push for me to replace the whole HVAC. After 24 hours of this hard sell on what was going to be the hottest day of the week, I took a chance and called Emin for a 2nd opinion. And miracle of miracles he looked at the video, found the part, and was at the property in 30 minutes. My final bill was a 10th of what the other contractor was selling me! Thanks so much Emin for being so honest and straightforward in a business that can be so full of scammers. You are a cut above!

Jerry diagnosed that it was a low capacitor and freon leak, and that the fan motor was not broken like others have said. Other companies needed me to purchase additional parts to get it fixed but Jerry was able to get my AC working the same day. My HVAC unit was nearing it's end of life so I was also comparing bids on what made the most sense for my condo. Jerry offered to temporarily 'lend' us a new capacitor and pumped freon into my system at no charge while I made the decision whether I wanted just the fix or to replace my system. If I decided to just go with the fix, I would pay for it of course, but if I went with replacing the system, they would just take back their capacitor and reclaim the freon. This was a hugely appreciated gesture. Their HVAC replacement proposal was also very competitive. I ultimately decided to replace the system. The experience was pleasant from beginning to end. Cecilia is the one who helps schedule at the office, very friendly and responsive. Jerry was the technician who helped us diagnose the issue and coordinate the HVAC team. He was friendly, transparent, and always responded quickly to my texts/questions - great communication. The day of, the workers Juan, Victor and Andrew were very professional. Maintained constant communication the whole time, kept me updated on the process and what they were doing. They wore booties inside, protected the floor with tarp, and were just very careful in general. The installation of the unit itself is very professionally done, and they vacuumed everything and cleaned up afterwards. They even explained how to register the units for warranties etc. They were able to remove the old AC and install the whole new system the same day, roughly ~5-6 hours including the crane to get the units on/off the roof of the condo building.
