Not too mention calling this an RV park is a stretch.. it's more like you're parked in the owners front yard- and he watches you like it's his front yard too. We were so tightly squeezed into our spot that when we opened our awning it was laying on top of the camper beside us. Absolute nightmare of a place to stay- seriously do NOT waste your money. He says no visitors are allowed and if you have visitors you have to text or call him first- I'm sorry? What? Again he treats the "rv park" like it's his private front yard and not like you're paying hundreds of dollars to stay. Over priced!!! It didn't cost much, had both 35 and 50 hookups, water, plumbing, very level. I believe it was $25, and when I asked about a check-out time, the gentleman who runs the place basically shrugged and said not to worry about it. The playground was just fine, lots of trees, very quiet. The few people I saw smiled at my kids (for once, they were being quiet and walking nicely, that must have fooled them) and waved. There's a garden close to the river, we left that alone, and a cleared path along the river if you feel like going for a walk. I had intended to go wading, as this particular river is wide and shallow. This is maybe half, to one mile east of Mankin's Crossing at highway 29, and one and a half to two miles west of Jonah. Although their website lists "River access," and I'm sure you could manage it if you were bound and determined, I didn't feel like jumping down a sharp 3 foot bank, and the river wasn't high enough just then, so there was pond scum... Not the fault of the RV park, but still not as great as I was hoping. Dogs are ok, as long as they aren't barkers, not that we had one to bring. I wouldn't stay for a long time, though, as in the 13 years I've lived nearby, I've seen this place flood drastically, twice.

They have an air conditioned portable bathroom trailer that is decent. 6 stalls in the women's room and they were fairly clean. The summer heat had them smelling a little funky, but I'm not sure what can be done to fix that. The staff was friendly. The school bus ride back to the starting point after the float was nostalgic. For a moment, it took me back to feeling like we were on a school field trip. We definitely see ourselves coming back but at least bringing our own floats for our coolers to cut down on the expense. We had a large group with 2 coolers so it was $50 just to bring our coolers along.

When the time came, the kids lined up and were called in, but the ninja coach never came to introduce herself, which was disappointing. After a group stretching session, they split off into their own programs. At the ninja station, there just was not much going on. I was bored just watching them repeat the same few things over and over again. The instructor was bored too as she was yawning nonstop. At one point she was literally just sitting there while the kids kind of did free play on their own. I'm not sure if they do different things each class or if it's the same but this looks like it would get boring after 3-4 sessions. Once it was over, the coach did still did not come meet nor was there any follow up on whether we want to sign up or share thoughts. For me, this program was missing a few key things I expect - safety, inclusion, and real opportunities for growth, confidence, and community. The instructor barely paid attention, the activities felt unstructured, and there was no sense of connection or purpose. So basically it's just a really expensive option to have someone unenthusiastically watch your kid for one hour. The gymnastics side looked more active and organized, so maybe that is their main focus and the ninja program is just an add-on. Either way, I was really disappointed with the Lil ninja program. Also, the facility itself felt kind of dingy. The vending machine was broken and the space did not seem super clean or well kept. Would not recommend Lil ninja based on what I saw.

My daughters (ages 7 and 3) particularly loved the kids slide section and the wave pool. I did see quite a few dead bugs and leaves in the lazy river and wave pool which was a little off putting. They have lockers to store belongings, as well as clean bathrooms and changing rooms onsite. They also offer a variety of food choices which are pretty good & reasonably priced. Very few crowds if you arrive right at opening time. I was happy to see there were no lines at all for the slides. They open a half hour early for season pass members; general admission is 11am. Definitely worth checking out for a day of family fun in the hot TX summer!

She was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping me find exactly what I needed for our event. What really sets Freedom Fun apart, however, is the quality of their people. While setting up for our event, I suffered a very serious accident that resulted in a significant injury and severe bleeding. In those frightening moments, Isaac, DJ, and Adam immediately sprang into action. They did not hesitate for a second. Remaining remarkably calm under pressure, they took control of the situation, did everything they could to stop the bleeding, and stayed focused until emergency responders arrived. Their quick thinking, composure, and genuine concern for my well-being made all the difference during one of the scariest moments of my life. What impressed me most was not only how capable they were, but how compassionate and caring they were throughout the entire ordeal. They stayed with me, reassured me, and handled an incredibly stressful situation with maturity and professionalism far beyond their years.
