The arena itself is covered but mainly outside so dress accordingly. The bleachers are a bit tight on nights with a packed crowd, but everything was visible from our seats. You can tell that this facility is well taken care of and that updates have been regularly taking place since it was built. The Jumbotron at the end of the arena was great for watching replays and didn't appear to have any broken/missing lights. Overall, this is a great place to catch a livestock show, rodeo, or concert!

My wife, son and I were very comfortable, and there was plenty of room for the dogs. The accommodations were immaculate as were the grounds. Both dogs really enjoyed the fenced off dog area, and they also loved a quick swim in the creek that borders the property. We'll def be back. Huge shoutout to Robin. Very professional, kind, and courteous.

There's a gate with no fence so anyone can walk in, and the cameras are so the owner can watch his park renters not trespassers. We had to leave early for rv repairs and they are the only park in the 8 years we've been traveling that doesn't pro-rate your stay and give a refund for days not used. Not too mention calling this an RV park is a stretch.. it's more like you're parked in the owners front yard- and he watches you like it's his front yard too. We were so tightly squeezed into our spot that when we opened our awning it was laying on top of the camper beside us. Absolute nightmare of a place to stay- seriously do NOT waste your money. He says no visitors are allowed and if you have visitors you have to text or call him first- I'm sorry? What? Again he treats the "rv park" like it's his private front yard and not like you're paying hundreds of dollars to stay. Over priced!!! Bathroom/laundry house was a nightmare for atleast 3 of the 5 years I've lived here. Full of mold for years. I'm a self employed carpenter with almost 20 years experience with new construction,remodeling / renovation and various installations of woodworking and was asked by pete(part owner) to give a bid and estimate on the work necessary to meet the standards of an Rv park amenities house , with several options to make this place better. I have all the text messages of that conversation . He tried to drop the bid by 6,000$ to cut numerous corners . Continuing his cheapskate trend of negligence and false advertisement. Now kicking out anyone who legitimately challenges him. I was Aggressively confronted this morning by a contractor who is doing repair job on bathroom/laundry at shady river with accusations that I stole his tools, in front of my 3 year old son while we are just on a morning walk and hanging out with neighbor . I remained calm and introduced myself but this guy was aggressively falsely accusing me( 3 witnesses). I had gone around the backside of bathroom the day before to check the work they were doing underneath on the frame and snapped some pictures to make sure they were doing it right and then got a phone call and text from Pete with a warning to stay clear of any construction activity, which I was already doing and continued thereafter. I adhered to every request Pete made about said construction activity. With that said it's within our rights to know what's going on with a mold infested nightmare bathroom and take a look at what's going on, especially if I have many years oexperience doing that kind of work. So evidently 5 faithful years,a family with 2 little children ,and a professional estimate on construction work doesnt mean anything to shady river owners . if you challenge their work , document and ask legitimate questions about the work being done on amenities you get shunned and evicted.

We visited over the weekend for the grand reopening of Joanne Land Playground and it is truly…read moreamazing. It has so many wonderful obstacles and slides for the children to enjoy. I don't want to upload pics due to children are present but please go check it out because you won't be disappointed. The main stage is nice and there is a pavilion for you to just sit and enjoy the atmosphere while reading a book or just taking a moment to chill. I always enjoy coming here to cycle or walk but really appreciate the playground upgrade for the children.
