The pool was a hit with the kids and we loved that it was gated off to keep them safe when playing outside. The numerous picnic tables and chairs were great for outdoor meals and the shade was very welcome in the ridiculous summer heat. Jane and Bryan have definitely thought of everything to make this place a great escape from reality! We look forward to staying here again in the future. And drove back to the cabins instead of staying the next night in Austin. This place is heavenly. To begin with, it is a gorgeous setting ~ quiet, calming, lovely views from the porch. Next, the interior is BEAUTIFULLY decorated and appointed ~ nothing left to chance from the dishes to the wifi & TV. These cabins are elegant, more high end than some expensive hotels. And, yet, they are rustic ~ fantastic reconditioned barn wood ceilings, gorgeous stone bathrooms (with shower large enough for two;), giant full cabin length deck. I felt very pampered by the comfy king bed (super delicious sheets!) and the outdoor jacuzzi (easy to use). Another plus is that the owners are great. Easy to deal with and so willing to help. We LOVED our stay and are looking forward to staying again. If you get the chance, stay at Stony Ridge. You will be enchanted too!!!

I loved the covered porch with surround sound and the hottub. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were super soft. I also loved the shades that you simply pull down to cover all the windows at night. It really was peaceful and just the getaway we needed from the city. However, for the price I expected much more because I have never paid this much for a cabin that didn't include everything we needed for our stay. It also could have been a little cleaner for my liking when we arrived. First, they only provided 3 dinner plates, 4 small plates and 4 bowls along with 4 forks, 4 knives and 4 spoons. This would be OK if there were two of us and we were only staying one night, but they knew there were 3 of us and we were staying 5 nights. If you allow that many people for that amount of time, then you should provide enough of everything they will need during their stay. I mean who doesn't at least have an 8 piece setting? Also, while there are pots and pans, they are the cheap metal kind that everything sticks to, so basically useless. And don't count on using the oven because they only provide 1 glass 9x14 pan, so bring your own pans if you want more than a casserole or microwave dinners. There is the grill but its small. Also, the seating in the living room is not very comfortable and really only accommodates two. There is the patio, but again there is only setting for two. And it does get chilly on the patio in the evenings and unfortunately only 1 throw blanket was provided. We had to drive 40 minutes away to the nearest Walmart to get all these basic items that weren't included and that was frustrating. I would have simply brought my own items if I had known. If you are looking to only stay one or two nights with your significant other and you don't plan on making your own meals, then this place is great, but for a family who likes to cook who prefers comfort over looks, then I would look elsewhere. For that reason, I am only giving 4 stars.

I was looking for a place to have a bachelorette party/getaway when I came across a listing for the…read moreEco-Cabins; I initially booked this through GlampingHub, so this review will be there as well :) After looking at the options I booked the Red Room Cabin and the Blue Loft for myself and four others. Todd (property manager, on-site massage therapist, and all around genuinely amazing and super-nice human being) contacted me immediately after booking. We got some details hashed out in terms of arrival time, options for the massages, and basically just scheduling things. Due to scheduling we were only able to stay for one night, but Todd worked with us to make it happen. We were interested in doing the Girls Weekend package, which includes an hour of massage, a wine tasting at Stone House Vineyard, and a private group yoga session, so he gave information about that as well. Surroundings: The drive to the location was calming in itself, passing hills and fields and animals. Upon arrival, I contacted Todd and he met us and showed us where to park. Parking is available right around the corner behind the property fence, with openings to walk right to the Eco-Cabins. This entire property is beautiful - it's a charming and peaceful environment with so many options for places to sit and breathe, relax, think, chat with friends, or just listen to nature. We were there for less than an hour before deciding we will definitely return in the future, and even started planning another weekend stay for later this year. There are some hammocks to lay on, a small swing, and a covered pavilion with some couch seating. There are also roaming dogs in the area that came onto the property a few times, which was so cute! Lake: With a short walk down the driveway, you hit water! The view is beautiful of course - especially at sunset and in the morning. The water was pretty high when we were there, so to get from the driveway area to the floating cabin we needed to wade through a few inches of water. Being super-smart and definitely feeling invincible at the time, I accidentally fell in - but it felt great! Thanks Mid-February Texas weather! :) I really wish I'd brought a swimsuit, but that'll just have to be a next-time thing. The lake cabin has a couple seats as well, and we sat there for a bit just looking out at the water and occasionally waving at people passing by on their boats. We saw kayaks stored near there as well, and I think they're available to rent, which would be great! Cabins: We booked Red Room and Blue Loft. Both were super cute! The Red Room has room for two to sleep, has a detached bathroom, and a private seating area up the stairs where you can just sit and breathe and observe for a while. We only used the fridge and some glasses, but I believe there were some things available if you wanted to cook something. The Blue Loft has a small kitchenette with basics available as well, and it has room for four to sleep. Outside the cabins there are seats and a small table. There's also space between the cabins to do a small campfire, with all the things needed - we didn't use this but we will next time. Massages: There is a massage room on site. We each had a one-hour massage session with Todd. It was my first massage ever, but I feel like his approach was perfect. He has a very client-drive mindset, and I feel like he listened to what my body/muscles/joints was telling him. He explained the process beforehand and made sure I was comfortable with everything, and gave tips on how to breathe through any discomfort. I felt amazing afterwards! He also told me after where he felt the tension and stress being carried. It was honestly incredible; there aren't enough words to describe it! Yoga: We did our yoga session on Sunday around 11am. It was amazing as well! The instructor (I'm so sorry I forgot her name!) was very knowledgeable about yoga and the body and connecting with breathing, which I really appreciated. The session was perfect - we were outdoors, there were wind chimes being struck, the lake in the background, great company and amazing instructor... just perfect. Wine Tasting: The vineyard is a short drive away (less than five minutes), and it was very nice as well. We tried I think 6 different wines, bought a cheese plate (not included in LWOLT package) and bought a bottle of wine (also not included) to take back with us. The sun started setting while we were here, and we took a few pictures :) Checkout: Easy breezy, we just took our trash out and put it in the trashcan, tried to leave everything how it was when we arrived, and said goodbye + see ya later to Todd. Overall - super impressed, glad we booked here for bachelorette weekend getaway, and wish I could go back again and stay for more time. TL;DR Bride + bridesmaids booked here and did the Girls Weekend Package (massage, wine tasting, yoga). Living Waters on Lake Travis is absolutely worth it; I highly recommend it, and we will all be returning!

This was a fantastic…read morealternative to staying at a hotel, as you have a full kitchen, laundry, private outdoor seating, free Wifi, and conveniences like an iPod dock, platform bed, and overhead rain shower. The washer/dryer and laundry room was totally worth it, as I was able to catch up on laundry before the next leg of my trip. The Nest looks exactly like it does on the website, and the location is great as well. It is literally adjacent to a shopping center (the back parking lot of Sears is like 20 feet away) but surprisingly this isn't a negative because it's still very quiet. Convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, and a golf course where you can go for a run around the perimeter. Highly recommended. When I visit Austin again, I'll be back!

This property is a perfect Studio setup on Lake Buchanan! If you're into the outdoors/nature and lake scene but also enjoy everything you need right at your fingertips this is the place for you! It's clean, it's more spacious than the photos give it credit for, it's affordable, and most of all, it's peaceful! Here are some of the awesome things you'll find at Ralph's Lake Cottage: King size bed, trundle bed with pull out, chaise lounge, decks and patio furniture, full size fridge and oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, full set of kitchenware and cooking supplies. Coffee, tea, zip locks, paper towels, toilet paper, pillows, blankets, extra sheets, bath towels, beach towels, flashlights, musical instruments, DVDs, puzzles, games, cards, fans, kayaks, bikes, swings, firepit, BBQ pit, and more! Seriously, the owners thought of everything! All I brought with me was some wine, snacks, comfy clothes, and my sewing supplies. I had my own personal Sewing Retreat for the weekend and it was fantastic! =) As far as nearby attractions, I only ventured out once when I took the 25 minute drive to Llano, Texas. It was a super cute town with several boutiques, gift shops, restaurants, and 2 quilt stores (which were my main motivator for leaving the cottage). There's also a Family Dollar. There are also nearby wineries and a Country Store with plenty of basics plus made to order pizza, salads, and sandwiches. I personally recommend bringing some food, some wine and comfy clothes and just hanging out to enjoy the scenery. Be sure to do some star gazing at night and get up for the sunrise - it's AMAZING!

Way more activities and more frequent activities. This is basically a property managed RV park with about 150 or so long term families. It's not bad, but compared to the other Jellystones we've been to it's definitely not in par not as fun. The staff is friendly and the multiple pools are nice change of pace.

This afternoon, my husband and I were enjoying the lazy river at Jellystone. It was very quiet. A…read morefew families came and went. At one point, a woman with a couple of children came and sat down at one of the tables by the lazy river. I don't know what was said, but the mother slapped the girl on the cheek. The other girl said that man (referring to my husband) saw you do that. The girls and the woman stayed for a while and then went off to look for someone. They came back and spent a little time at the lazy river. The mother sat on the steps to the lazy river and vaped. Clear signs are posted that say no smoking or vaping. Eventually, they left, leaving a messy table area full of trash from all the food and drinks. A breeze blew a couple chip bags into the lazy river. Not what I enjoy finding while I'm trying to relax. It's not only children who can be disruptive and irresponsible. In this case, it was the adult. While lifeguarding does not have to be part of the lazy river experience; management needs to monitor and stroll through these areas at least every half an hour. And shortly after this event, another event occurred. A very loud group of people came through the gate. A very drunk mother holding a glass Smirnoff vodka drink bottle was trying to climb on a husband or boyfriend's back because she was so drunk she couldn't walk. Several children were with them, and several other adults followed. They were making their way to one of the poolside tables of the lazy river. All of a sudden, there was a loud crash and the cooler that one gentleman was carrying fell to the ground, and the lid opened up. Glass bottles of beer and vodka drinks along with ice spilled out and broke all over the deck of the lazy river. Broken brown and white glass bottles were near the edge of the lazy river. Someone slipped on the mess and there was blood. They were rapidly trying to clean it all up while they laughed and giggled. Anytime there are clear glass shards, it's very possible that some may have landed in the water. It is impossible to say that no shards are in the water. We made a phone call to try to report the incident to the Jellystone head office. No one answered the phone so we left a message. As we left, we waved down a RV resort worker who went into action immediately. We went to the other pool to get away from the situation. We knew that going into the lazy river with a possibility of glass shards was not something we wanted to experience. We hoped that the RV park would close the lazy river immediately. Most recommendations say that the pool or water area needs to be drained and vacuumed and cleaned. Then it can be refilled with water and reopen to the public for use. Anyone with questions can call Jellystone and ask if that preventative measure was accomplished. I'm not sure that the lazy river was ever shut down. We drove by a couple hours later and there were still people in the exact same area where the ice chest had been dropped. It makes my stomach turn to think that the same scenario could've happened anytime in the past. I don't know what we were floating in. I'm hoping it was a safe, lazy river. ?? So again, I say, management needs to stroll and observe all of these pool areas at least every 15 minutes to every 30 minutes. Again, the adults were at fault. The children were not being managed or watched in anyway. The rules of the pool and the RV park were being broken. Anyone with questions should call Jellystone RV Park and ask if the lazy river is safe to use. By the way, the obnoxious family was removed from the lazy river, I guess. They ended up at the other regular swimming pool. We called the RV main office again to report that they were drinking out of glass bottles at that pool. I don't know what happened to them. Evidently they weren't escorted off the premises after the fiasco at the lazy river.
