The first time I was already on my way from CA to TX. They downgraded my site and never offered or gave me a refund for the difference Sunset RV Park's, Leander, TX, web site says they "promise to secure your spot and decline all other requests in exchange for your payment." That is a lie!!! The so-called manager this office, TBG RV Resorts, Lea Baker, gave me her word the site would not be changed. Again, a big fat lie. If you are booking a short-term stay, I would highly recommend you book somewhere else. Booking a site is very misleading. You will be routed to another web site. Watch for Boston.booking.rentmanager.com. The Boston Group (TBG) is an investment/management company. There are other rv parks in the Cedar Park area that are really family owned and operated. The first time I booked a spot for my November trip was back in July. One would think that far in advance I would not be having this problem. The main stage is nice and there is a pavilion for you to just sit and enjoy the atmosphere while reading a book or just taking a moment to chill. I always enjoy coming here to cycle or walk but really appreciate the playground upgrade for the children.

The nightly rates advertised aren't as low as they actually turn out to be which is unfortunately very common. It ended up being about $90/night for an rv spot. There's also volleyball courts, ping pong etc. plenty of things to do. They do Friday movie nights at the pool for kids. Great place. We had an ant issue and they ended up getting into our rv and we lost some food over it. My kids got bit a few times as well, because the ants got in their clothes. We found the ants crawling up our extension cord and into the rv. I put in two maintenance requests about it but never heard back so I bought some ant killer and solved it myself.

It was my first multi-state trip in my RV so I wasn't sure what to expect. The park is clean and quiet with a very nice dog park. I checked out the park while I was there and picked a few sites I would like for my next visit. I booked and paid for another stay 5 months in advance. Again, they tried changing my site saying the agreement says they can do that. I was told they would make more money renting that site to someone else. After praying about it, I decided to cancel my reservation and find another place to stay. I was giving them 3 months' notice. I was told I would have to pay a penalty for the cancellation. I called to follow up on my cancellation; I happened get the management company who was very surprised the way I was being treated. I realized the first time they changed my site they moved me from a Premier site to a Standard site. I was never offered nor did I receive a refund for the difference. I explained the whole situation to the management company and they were very helpful. I am receiving a whole refund. They also manage the new site I reserved. I think it is very sad that you have an RV park that sells itself with the convenient location, clean and quiet facility and you feel the need to cheat people for a few extra dollars. The $30 dollars you cheated me out of on my first stay has cost you a repeat customer. And your terms and conditions nor your cancellation policy say you have the right to change the site as you please. I received such helpful service from the management company that I wasn't going to leave a review, but I hope this will help another traveler who may find themselves in a similar situation. I give it three stars because there are no bathrooms in the park. I like to in a real toilet. Also no showers. It's a huge difference for me when picking the parks we stay at however it was nice and clean and easy to get in and out of. The people were nice on the phone and we arrived late in the night and they let us come hook up anyways. I appreciate that.

I don't know what prior complaint about laundry room is about, I've never been when machines weren't working, and I've never been when there wasn't machines available. The owner's father manages the place, and has always been nice and polite to me. He has never been nasty, and I am very much a female. I get an email each month with my invoice attached, but nothing else is ever conveyed through email. I enjoy living here and have never had any issues.
