We booked a…read more14-day stay at Jellystone Park Austin North (about $600) expecting a family-friendly, professional experience -- but it was the worst of our Texas stays. The short-term sites are steeply sloped, making it nearly impossible to level a Class A RV safely. When we asked to move, staff refused, saying level sites were only for "long-term guests," even though the park was half-empty in the off-season. Their only alternative was to pay over $1,000+ plus deposit and $250 for electricity to book monthly. We left and moved to Juniper Ridge RV Park nearby -- level sites, friendly staff, $650/month. Unfortunate to spend Veterans Day packing up because of poor customer service. If you're a family traveling or a veteran like me, I'd look elsewhere.

It's a huge difference for me when picking the parks we stay at however it was nice and clean and easy to get in and out of. The people were nice on the phone and we arrived late in the night and they let us come hook up anyways. I appreciate that.

The owner's father manages the place, and has always been nice and polite to me. He has never been nasty, and I am very much a female. Dumpsters constantly overflowing and not emptied on a regular basis. Grass is cut when it gets knee-high. Lots of rules, but only certain people are required to follow the rules. Some examples of this are no window unit AC's are allowed in your RV (numerous RV's have them) you can have a storage shed, but it must be wood only (there were lots of residents with plastic & metal sheds. Save yourself the heartache and misery and just go down the road. There are tons of other RV parks that are clean and not so TRASHY!!!

I'm a traveling healthcare worker, which is why I'm leaving, but when I am back in the area, Rising Spirit will be first on the list! They have mailboxes, 4 washers and 4 dryers. A shower and toilet, Soda machine, ice and water machine, grassy areas, a dog park. The grounds are nicely kept. Everyone living here, that I have interacted with, has been very friendly.
