I wouldn't stay here ever again, even if someone else paid the bill. I found the owner to be extremely rude, disrespectful and extraordinarily difficult to get along with as well as dangerous and irresponsible. He allowed his agent to set a large fire and then leave it unattended and burning for multiple days, even when high winds began to gust the following day. Bertram fire department was called and sprayed foam to extinguish the fire. Mail and two garbage cans that one would normally find at a residential home, finally, are the only amenities out there and his "river" is nothing more than a goopy green algae covered stagnant water, or as I call it, a mosquito breeding ground. No wifi, dog park, rec room , laundry facilities, fire rings/pits , picnic benches, guest parking, cable, or office with a manager exist. Just a painfully slow and extremely inadequate automated gate opener. And the gate is merely two horse panels. I made the mistake of calling him one day about a new tenant that decided that being neighborly was yelling at the top of his lungs at a widowed, disabled, terminal American veteran (that he gave an eviction notice to the following day) as apparently it was during his sons first baseball game. He let me know that he was extremely angry that I was interrupting him and spoke to me with such venom and disrespect that I immediately began searching for a new place. After I was harassed by him about where my rig was parked, two months after I had moved in, and mere days after the phone incident, I gave my 30 day notice, and after the fire was started and left unattended, I moved out even earlier because of fear for self and property. If you are looking for a resort or professionally run rv park, avoid this owner, his disrespectful and nasty temper and his poorly designed parks. read more
