We called on a Sunday and they have after hours telephone answering but we needed to wait until Monday during 1PM-4PM office hours to make a reservation. They have an on-line booking but we couldn't see a place to request a pull-thru or to get any offered discounts. We made the reservation on-line after several dropped connections; unsure if it's my cell service in Lufkin or their line. We booked a back-in site since no pull-thru sites are available for our stay. The confirmation came by e-mail quickly. I searched the Garmin GPS for the address and it took awhile to find it. Try address number 10502 and street name FM 2410 in Belton TX if you also have trouble. It would have been nice if alternate directions due to construction on the Interstate were in the e-mail but we skipped a few exits and came back on the other side. Our first visual impression is positive. We checked in and one guy gave me backing up directions that got me right into the spot. This was very helpful for me since we've only been RVing for 5 weeks and prior to that I'd never towed anything. The roads are asphalt, the pads stone and the picnic table pads concrete. The picnic tables are nice. The water pipe is insulated. Wi-Fi is slow at times. There's no local road traffic noise and an occasional distant train. They have a playground, dog park, sheltered (roof and three sides) picnic area with five tables, kids pool, hot tub, some outdoor exercise equipment and Amazon Lockers. The RV spots are great and the lady at the front is nice but the owner... he is NOT nice. He yelled at a friend and I for not knowing the gate code. I had just texted my dad for the code and the owner pulled up next to us and yelled "If you don't know the code, Then you don't enter!". Then we proceeded to explain what was wrong and just backed up and corrected ourselves because another car was coming out and he jumped out and walked over to yell "Yall are not coming in!". In short, nice lady at the desk but HORRIBLE Owner! Watch out for him. read more

SUCH A GREAT PARK!!! My family and I drove out to Texas from California for vacation this summer and when we were looking for an RV park, Basin RV stood out to us. I called and talked to Tammy and she was so pleasant to speak with. We initially had our reservation for only 5 days but we ended up getting into town 2 days sooner so we called and Allison helped us to extend our stay. Since our arrival time was after hours they sent us all the necessary info and we were able to get in and set up. The next day we checked out all of the amenities and were thoroughly impressed. The pool was great for our daughter and the bathrooms and laundry facility was so clean! All of the other park residents were so helpful and so nice!!! Love the location of the park since it's close to 14 and 35. Can't wait to come back and stay again!!! read more

This is our 3-4 time here in the last year since they opened. Gated, quiet, and feel secure. Good location between Belton and Stillhouse Lake. Easy access to Killeen, Belton and Ft Hood. Sites are well spaced with gravel RV parking, concrete patio, grass area, and second vehicle parking area. All hookups work well, with 30/50 at all sites. Sewer hookup may be a stretch depending on your RVs location. Restrooms/Showers are private , large, and clean. Laundry good. Very nice community area. Dog Park good. Pool coming soon. ATT cell service good. WiFi good Staff always helpful. read more

Nice park, but office manager is very inconsistent with rules depending on if you're in her click or not. 3 dog bites happened during my 5 month stay, but 2 were from a click member and nothing was done. I definately WOULD NOT take children there! Dogs left alone & barking all hours of the night and again, nothing done. She gets involved where she shouldn't and doesnt address issues that she should. PROFESSIONAL office Manager is needed. Personally, I'll NEVER stay there again and will discourage anyone that asks about it. read more

I have been here for a year now and I absolutely love it. It is a new park so they are still finishing up things like the pool, but what an awesome little community! It is very clean, quite and has absolutely the best staff ever! It was 5 stars a year ago and they make it better every day. Gated, plenty of room between lots, pet friendly, nicely located (out in the middle of now where yet, in the center of everything). read more
