I went back to my Cardiologist and Pulmonologist this morning and they both said I should not go and stay inside my own home since our areas have gone back to red. I emailed the owners of this place and said my doctors have advised me to stay home since I am high risk and they offered only half back. We are 11 days out of travel dates and I get a to bad so sad. Also be advise they do not allow ESA animals even with a doctors letter. Run from this place stay at either Willow Point Big Chief or go on up to Tow it will be worth the drive to go to Tow.

At PAINTED BUNTING sat not 10 feet from me. Herons, swallows, a crested caracara, swallows, gnat catchers, so many new ones to add to my life list. Mariah is the perfect hostess. The bed was nice and cozy and the views were great. We spent the days at the lake floating by the beach and listening to music. This place is kind of…read moreexpensive to stay at, but if you book in advance and pay ahead of time, you usually get a lower rate like we did. Basically much of everything I pointed out in our first review was still the same including the very comfortable bed and super soft stuffed pillows. We enjoyed frozen margaritas ($15 each) by the pool, however, during those hot summer days it's hard to find shade by the pool. We also noticed that the water in the pool was pretty cloudy and in need of being shocked back to clarity. And as I mentioned before, the hot tub is really not that hot. In the morning, just around the corner from the elevators, you can grab a courtesy cup of coffee which is a big plus. We definitely used the mini fridge in the room, but we wish the room came with a microwave as well considering how much you're paying for the room. We did enjoy dinner and breakfast at their in-house restaurant called J's. However, it's hard to get out of there for less than $100 for two with burgers, drinks and tip. Same is true for breakfast buffet for three. All things considered, this resort is less than 2 hours drive from Austin and will be paying them a visit again

The pool on the deck with amazing views on the lake was where we loved spending our time. The hot tub has the best views! The activity room has a living room area, pool and shuffle board, and a gym too. All were kept clean, staff were responsive and it wasn't crowded either. We will definitely be back.
