I'll start by saying that our family has been camping at this park for about 20 years, one week every year. It's had its share of park hosts and over the years it's improved aesthetically a lot but been hit or miss as far as our experience with the hosts. A couple years ago we swore we'd never be back because the hosts were essentially harassing us over every detail of our group (we tend to take about 10-15 camp sites, which is more than half of the park. This year was the best ever. The hosts, Mike and Annette, were AMAZING. They knew about our experience in the past and knew to give us the ground rules up front, and did it in the nicest way. They were constantly checking in to make sure we were having a great time, they hosted movie nights for the kids, drove the train around the park with the littlest ones, and just made sure our experience was amazing. We already booked a week for next year and can't wait. We hope Mike and Annette stay for many years!

This is a nice park and well maintained with a great view of the Colorado River below lake Buchanan Dam. The sites are level and full hook ups are functional with no current electrical issues. The last site or tent site has great shade coverage but is adjacent to a cattle guard. All the water front sites are back in with the front of the trailer facing the water. A newly installed sprinkler system along the park road made it tricky to back into your site without possible damage to sprinkler heads. A better sprinkler placement would've helped. The restrooms are adequate but hot. An AC would be a needed addition. I highly recommended stay

View from our campsite. Every site is waterside.

I booked a weekend at this lovely little RV Park for some much needed rest and relaxation, and it was the best decision! It's right off the main road, but quiet, and Buchanan Dam is less than a mile away. There are plenty of trees for shade, the entire campsite is incredibly well kept, and the park hosts are very kind and helpful. Every spot is waterfront, so you can't get a bad view. The fishing is good if you bring your own gear, and there is also a little boat ramp. They offer rentals of kayaks, paddle boats, and a few other things. The park is pet friendly and my dog absolutely loved it. There are tons of ways for kids to have fun, too! Each campsite has electricity, water, and a picnic table. Even when the park is full it doesn't feel cramped. You can't beat the sunrise or sunset over the lake, and all the quaint little lake-side homes make me feel like I'm sitting in a Thomas Kinkade painting.

Absolutely love this cute RV park !! Stayed with our good friends here the manager was soooooo very polite ! We stayed and celebrated Christmas lol my husband bought me a ruckus we definitely do apologize for riding around on it at the park. We will DEFINITELY BE BACK ! Very clean sites as well as very sweet people that run it.

Beautiful quaint Rv park right on the water! A hidden gem! The only thing is I would say is if getting in the water I would use a float. I'm a chicken and there was too much plant life at the bottom. It's great too if you have a boat or rent a boat, they have a dock.

We loved this RV park! The people were friendly and helpful and the park extremely clean and well maintained! We happened upon this when the state park was full....so glad we did! What a hidden gem! Bill and Mauverine were wonderful and make sure everything runs smoothly. We will definitely be back!

The guys at Templeton's Tavern get 5 stars for the friendliest and best service ever. They made us feel very welcome and right at home with many above-and-beyond moments like bringing us an extra pickleball racket to the court when they noticed another family member show up to play. The food and drinks were great. The games and pool table were super fun. We enjoyed the live weekend music from our patio while we cooked hotdogs and s'mores over the fire. Andrea was stellar with quick communication! Housekeeping gets 5 stars because it was really impressively clean. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. The grounds are well kept and we enjoyed hiking around and seeing the beautiful wildflowers. I can't say enough good things about this place. It is unique and combines all the beauty of nature with all the comforts of home and lots of attention to detail in decor and service. The container cabins are really very pretty and the spider sculptures are a neat touch. The sunset view is so amazing my tween girl ordered us all to the upstairs balcony to take it in. This is the perfect place to hang out with friends and family. We were sad to leave and will 100% be back. Best Spring Break ever.

This place is absolutely ratchet. There is NO cell service, it took 24 hours for the cabin to cool…read moredown in March! The furnishings are tore up, even though you pay a $75 cleaning fee they require you to strip the beds, wash the dishes, and take all your garbage to the dumpster that isn't close. The WATER! Smells like a mixture of vomit and sewage that you bathe in. The restaurant/bar is a food truck and some bartenders that sat on top of the cooler for the night. Bun on sandwich was so burnt you couldn't eat it and when I left a google review the owner said I was rude so I guess that is all ok with her! Be careful though, they spy on you while you are there. 30 mintues before checkouT the "housekeeper" cased the place and then parked in front of the dumpsters and watched us... so creepy. Don't waste your money. It's HORRID, plus read the review on Google that says the same thing and the owners response. I'm rude because I kindly called out you overcharge for a dump! I am calling the health department on that food truck they call a restaurant and it. Is Luke a old creepy murder movie they way they spy on you in the dilapidated grounds...gross!
