Apparently she has some tenants who were watch dogging because her own eyes couldn't see everything. She also made a comment of me using the word "tattle telling" and how childish that was. Always felt someone was watching me and I was on pins and needles, never knowing if my neighbors were friend or foe. I have to state the grounds are nice and I had 3 yorkies and I was only suppose to have 2, I just left a home and never lived in a trailer. We all were adjusting. She evicted me which was fine, but then she brought me the eviction letter and said something to me and I tore that letter up and told her to stop harassing me. She said I had 24 hour to leave, which she can't do. I believe my last electric bill was high but I just wanted out of there. Had moved the trailer and had 1 more day to move the last things, but I guess a ternate came and helped themselves to what they wanted.

We have been at dozens of RV parks with our three dogs and this has never happened. In the questionnaire, they ask if you have pets. Being an honest guy, I said yes...three mixes. Couple hours later, got an email back, with no thanks whatsoever with in inquiry, but asked "What breed are the mixes?" I did respond, as asked, and this guy flat out said "We can't help you." If there is any grey area whatsoever, please see the snapshot of the email exchange...which after asking a couple more questions, this guy had no courage to respond. We reserved a pull through site because we were oull a 21' trailer with a side by side and towing a car. When we got to our site, he had switched it to back in site that was short for our rig. We had to unhook to get everything to fit. We got up early to get on the road because we had a 11 hour ride to get to our next park. David called me around 8:40 when I went to oil k up the ccall the phone disconnected so I called him back right away. When he answered he said you just hung up on me. I apologized, and he said you snuc k out of Gere without paying. I told him m I thought we had already paid on his site he you didn't pay we only take cash or check. I told him I would put in the mail at our next stop. He hung up on me. This man is a grouchy old man. The pool was closed and the shower floors were filthy. The entrance has big dip, so be careful pulling you. Don't scrap the bottom of your motorhome or trailer.

I was Aggressively confronted this morning by a contractor who is doing repair job on bathroom/laundry at shady river with accusations that I stole his tools, in front of my 3 year old son while we are just on a morning walk and hanging out with neighbor . I remained calm and introduced myself but this guy was aggressively falsely accusing me( 3 witnesses). I had gone around the backside of bathroom the day before to check the work they were doing underneath on the frame and snapped some pictures to make sure they were doing it right and then got a phone call and text from Pete with a warning to stay clear of any construction activity, which I was already doing and continued thereafter. I adhered to every request Pete made about said construction activity. With that said it's within our rights to know what's going on with a mold infested nightmare bathroom and take a look at what's going on, especially if I have many years oexperience doing that kind of work. So evidently 5 faithful years,a family with 2 little children ,and a professional estimate on construction work doesnt mean anything to shady river owners . if you challenge their work , document and ask legitimate questions about the work being done on amenities you get shunned and evicted.

We had an ant issue and they ended up getting into our rv and we lost some food over it. My kids got bit a few times as well, because the ants got in their clothes. We found the ants crawling up our extension cord and into the rv. I put in two maintenance requests about it but never heard back so I bought some ant killer and solved it myself.

It's a well-maintained, age 55+ property, so there were never any kids yelling or loud music blaring. It is also gated at night, and as a single female, I felt very safe there. The park is out in the country, so it is very quiet - the only sound being a rooster occasionally crowing, which was quaint. The property managers, Greg and Amy, were amazing. When I had issues, they were always available to help, even when they were off duty. The on-site shower/restroom, laundry room, and community room are always clean and inviting. The neighbors are all very friendly, and there is a large dog park your fur babies. When I moved out, they refunded my deposits promptly and in full. If you're looking for a great RV park, and you're age 55+, Central RV Park at Parkside is the park for you! I would still be living there if it weren't for my job.

Plus electric..I would be ok with this IF there were ANYTHING for my kids to do, a playground, a park..SOMETHING..but there is absolutely nothing. I am paying for the electric I use so I don't understand the fee for my kids being there. ALSO EVERY SINGLE TIME I walked in the office Diane the "manager" (that also lives there) to get mail I was scolded for things other kids were allegedly doing? Being where they weren't supposed to be...riding a bike without a reflector l..you name it on and on and on...nothing my kids actually ever did?? But just "fyi these kids were doing this and that..didn't see your kids there but I'm warning you". There is a man there that stopped to talk to my kids while they were outside playing a few times...shortly before I left I seen him and his wife having a domestic dispute..I then find out he has a record a mile long with multiple battery and other violent charges!! Out of respect for family members of another guest that might read this I won't put details but there were several terrible things that happened while we were there. I don't recommend AT ALL! Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because they have very nice shower facilities in the laundry room that they did keep very clean!

Some noise from road but not too bad. Site gravel and level, steady water and power. Outstanding wifi!! So why not 5 stars? Like so many others, they do not allow Car/RV washing. Normally, using a minimal amount of water, we are allowed to clean the massive amounts of dead bugs off the front of the RV to avoid damaging the paint. When asking here, they said "NO". During the week we saw the long-termer across the road on a ladder, with a rag, wiping the side of his RV. Didn't actually see him use any water, but don't think he was dry wiping his rig. Hate to ding a whole start for this, but in 5 years of full-timing, this was the first time we couldn't clean off the dead bugs.
