Every person involved took such amazing care of our baby. They were SO communicative and even checked in through every step. It was so easy. We kind of dropped the ball with planning her flight, as we had one scheduled with Delta that fell through last minute due to the heat. I can't even properly explain how much they helped us through everything and doing so VERY last minute! They explained to us that Hawaiian airlines would be best as they allow her large crate size and have a temperature controlled cargo. They picked her up from our house, drove her to the airport, and checked her into her flight. She flew from Honolulu to JFK direct flight. She was then picked up and driven to our home in Ohio from there! (If you're unfamiliar- that's over 8 hours of driving just one way.) We received numerous photo updates along the entire journey. Our total cost for all of that was just under 3k, with the actual flight being the bulk of that price. For the absolute top tier service we received, that cost is more than reasonable. This saved us so much time, anxiety, money, and frustration. If you're considering using PCS my pet, we highly recommend. But the people who walked my dogs were constantly changing over and at one point they couldn't cover for my visit although they had said they could and also charged me a lot more than they originally said because they decided to institute holiday rates. That's when I looked for a more stable group of people and Aloha Pro was recommended. They are a couple who used to run a restaurant and then have been in this business for many years. OMGoodness if my dogs didn't immediately fall in love with husband Frank! I could tell when I came home that he had walked them that day because they were extra excited when they greeted me at the door. Seems they would tell me stories about Uncle Frank walking them, and sadly I didn't understand, but their excitement was definitely noticeable. And when I'd go on a trip before Aloha Pro, they used to stop eating for a few days until they had to eat, but when Uncle Frank watched them, no such problem. And when I returned from a trip they were excited to see me but not as crazy as before and again they were happy to tell me that Uncle Frank took good care of them. After boarding, he came home in good spirits and we enjoyed watching him play on their live feed while we were away and missing him.

They came over to my home, fed the cats and gave them attention, while also checking my mail and sweeping the floor. I am so grateful for their services. I had to call them last minute because my friend's roof on her house flew off and she couldn't watch my cats. Joann and Steve came to the rescue and assured me that the cats would be fine. Here is my story: I usually have my cats under control at home or cat boarding at my veterinarian's location when I travel. but shucks! I wasn't lucky this past weekend. The other side of the coin is I was lucky because I found Pounce. A couple points 1. a walking distance to my office 2. pricing comparable to what my vet would charge 3. please environment for my felines 4. easy drop off easy pick up 5. daily follow up with pics of my felines from Pounce 6. comprehensive schedule of their stay; to and including when they use the bathroom... go figure! 7. they can/will administer meds if need be (one of my girls has asthma) My felines while happy to return home with me were treated with kindness and care. I will always go to Pounce from now on. Now then, the facility- clean, climate and air controlled facilities. I went to the Queen Street location and parking was easy. Right in front. You will need to call them when you get there. The doors are closed (for obvious reasons) and one of the gals will come out to get you. Same process on the way out! They have your fur babies all packed up and ready to go. Call them and they will wheel them out to your car!!! Sadly, I won't be boarding my felines at my vet any more as I'm so pleased with Pounce. Imagine! My own vet who cares for my fur babies want to charge you all sorts of things to board. Forget that; especially since my felines were not strangers to the vet clinic. But now! my felines are no longer strangers to Pounce. A definite must try if you have felines to board!

I highly recommend the United PetSafe program. My dog is now 12 years old and I have had no issues. Just follow the instuctions on their site. https://www.united.com/web/en-US/content/travel/animals/petsafe.aspx Since your pets will be going as cargo you have to call ahead of time to schedule a flight plan, get an airway bill, for your pet. For those that are military and the travel office schedules you with American Airlines, you will probably know that they (AA) accepts animals on a first come fist serve basis. That is wack. Imagine arriving at the airport and your pet cannot get on the plane due to it being overcrowded with other pets. Screw that. Go with United and you are guaranteed a ticket for your pet. You can choose to fly on the same flight path or take another flight. Your call. I personally prefer to fly on the same plane. Make sure you follow any/all local government rules for health certificates and Kennel requirements. The cargo team here processed my Stella and paperwork with ease. They will weigh the dog and kennel together and from there provide you a final cost. Not really much to it if you have all the required documents; so please come prepared. Hint, make sure your kennel is large enough for your dog. Overall I highly recommend the United Petsafe program.

I walked in and…read morechecked in and she seemed a little overwhelmed/wanting to get the day done with (we were her last client of the day). She asked me what kind of cut I wanted and I let her know I wanted a mohawk style cut and she said she didn't understand what I wanted, I then tried to show her using my dogs body and she was still confused and started getting an attitude. She told me to pick a blade size before she could proceed and I tried telling her that I wanted to first show her what I meant and she ignored it and walked away and turned off the music and then started to walk back. My mom had been with me and told me I should leave and not allow her to cut my dog. She must've overheard my mom say this because her attitude immediately shifted and she became a little bubbly and kinder. I let her know I didn't want the mohawk anymore because it seemed too difficult to communicate with her what I wanted and I would just do a trim all over and to round his face out. She then let me know typically only poodles do that cut and asked if I was sure I wanted that cut (completely unnecessary comment). I let her know he has been getting groomed and that is his typical cut when we don't do something fun/funky. I only stayed because my dog was in need of a haircut and I was already there. I really hoped the haircut would come out great since it was the same cut on his entire body and then just face shaping and she made it a point to let me know she's been a stylist for 30 years. I had to fix up the parts that were extremely uneven and I fixed behind his ears which were not groomed in the same places. She also let me know when I picked him up how much of a good boy he was for her so I'm even more confused by the uneven cutting. I will definitely not be returning and I am so disappointed by her service because the guy (Chris) who booked my appointment was so friendly and helpful.
