Snow day for dogs!…read more It is our second time doing this. Last year the snow day was $10 per family (regardless of the amount of pets). This year it was $10 per pet. I decided to only take one dog (Nalu) since simba already went to it in the past. This time the line was not as crazy and I remember we waited out there for a really long time. This time there was a QR code and it texted you when to come up to the gate. This was still a little confusing cause it shows it's your time but not really your time? You still had to stand in line that they had with possibly a handful of people getting the text at the same time. I think in a way that is helpful but not really if your dog really needs space since the distance between dogs is very little in line. There was some vendor booths - snacks. Food and activities. We tried the canine cardio there again which my dog nailed this time! Also it's better if you go early. Going late means yellow snow. lol.

Richard Paiz is awesome!! He is well trained and very knowlegeable about animal's anatomy…read more My 4 year old dog Pua injured her back which immobilized her rear legs and she could not walk. We took her to our Vet who recommended stem cell surgery. The catscan ($1500) showed no evident damage on the spine. The surgery was going to be another $6000. The emergency vet bill was $800. The surgery was never performed before on a dog's spine and there were no guarantees. Euthanization was not an option although it did cross our mind due to her quality of life of not being able to walk or run which she really enjoyed doing!! Richard suggested we try his method of treatment with laser. After the first treatment we could see movement in her legs! Richard recommended an agressive regiment of physical therapy, laser and electrical stimulation 3x a week. We had to go on a trip for a week and Richard offered to care for Pua at his home, that way he could give her treatments. We are so thankful for Richard's genuine interest in Pua's habilitation to walk again! Pua started walking on her own a month later, originally we were told she may never walk again! Its been 7 months of treatments and Pua is much happier now! She can run and play fetch and go on evening walks with her brother Mana! Thank you again Richard for spending your days off and after work hours treating our Pua! We highly recommend Richards services.

They came over to my home, fed the cats and gave them attention, while also checking my mail and sweeping the floor. I am so grateful for their services. I had to call them last minute because my friend's roof on her house flew off and she couldn't watch my cats. Joann and Steve came to the rescue and assured me that the cats would be fine. I got daily updates and photos and when I came home, the cats were fine and my house was in order. I would highly recommend their services and will be using them next time I go traveling. Mahalo!!

Stood in line like an idiot again, until one of the staff members asked a another staff, who was wandering around, to assist me. She takes my box number, comes back and tell me to leave my name because custom hasn't approved yet. I almost lost it. Now irritated, I told her, "YOU GUYS CALLED ME AND TOLD ME MY BOX WAS READY!" Another staff, "We called you?" Me: "YESSSSSS!" They take another look in their system and whaddaya know, box was ready. Unprofessional!

I have utlizied the Petsafe…read moreprogram and brought my German Shepherd from Turkey to San Antonio (2008), then from San Antonio to Hawaii (2013), then from Hawaii to Dallas (2016) with no issues. I highly recommend the United PetSafe program. My dog is now 12 years old and I have had no issues. Just follow the instuctions on their site. https://www.united.com/web/en-US/content/travel/animals/petsafe.aspx Since your pets will be going as cargo you have to call ahead of time to schedule a flight plan, get an airway bill, for your pet. For those that are military and the travel office schedules you with American Airlines, you will probably know that they (AA) accepts animals on a first come fist serve basis. That is wack. Imagine arriving at the airport and your pet cannot get on the plane due to it being overcrowded with other pets. Screw that. Go with United and you are guaranteed a ticket for your pet. You can choose to fly on the same flight path or take another flight. Your call. I personally prefer to fly on the same plane. Make sure you follow any/all local government rules for health certificates and Kennel requirements. The cargo team here processed my Stella and paperwork with ease. They will weigh the dog and kennel together and from there provide you a final cost. Not really much to it if you have all the required documents; so please come prepared. Hint, make sure your kennel is large enough for your dog. Overall I highly recommend the United Petsafe program.

Erin was wonderful about reassuring me how well he was doing with getting comfortable in his room. The staff is excellent and prompt with answering emails and very accomodating with changes that we needed to make. I am so glad that we discovered Pounce Hawaii!

I have two naughty dogs who don't do well with separation. Our amazing pet sitter (or dog nanny as our daughter calls it) took incredible care of them, provided detailed daily updates, and also (bonus) acted as a "house sitter" in a way (see service list on their website). Dogs are never left alone for more than a few hours, get walks, playtime and pets, and get to be in their comfortable and familiar space. For us, this service made way more finanial and practical sense than putting 2 pets in a boarding facility (no need to struggle with drop off and pick up times and all the paperwork of a kennel plus no risk of injury or disease exposure). Communication was stellar from start to finish. Will be booking again and again for all our travel needs.
