Staff at IPM are fantastic! Each person I met handled my pets with confidence and kindness. My doggos flight was delayed 3 times and they probably spent 18 hours total in their crates. This was of no fault of IPM. Staff was communicative every step of the way and even made an additional trip to the airport to let them out of their crates for a bit and give them water. One of my dogs has a somewhat snubbed nose and is a bit overweight so there was definitely worry, especially since this was her first flight. Their constant and clear communication and support through out the process was a much needed relief during our move to the island. Especially with the scare of pet quarantine and permits for the tortoise. They were able to assist with all of it. I was able to be with my pets right after getting on island instead of possibly waiting months to see them. IPM coordinated 95% of everything (the other 5% is scheduling FAVN and the appointment with your vet), provided all the appropriate forms, submitted documents, and offered the correct "airline approved" kennel for my pets. IPM was professional and kind through out the whole process. I had a smooth process getting my nervous and anxious cat from Las Vegas to Honolulu. I initially planned to take my cat in the cabin but he is too disruptive to stay put in his carrier. I hired IPM as a last minute resort. Thankfully I did because they were very clear about expectations and documentation. They have a checklist system that tells you exactly what you need in their app. I had all of my questions answered and appreciated their helpfulness. If you're traveling with a pet, the most tedious part won't be working with IPM, but with getting what you need from your vet. I had to get my health certificate revised two times because the vet didn't follow the template that IPM gave. IPM will confirm that your documentation is correct which is a nice reliever. Also, I ended up buying a crate from them even though I had one and I'm glad I did. My old crate wouldn't have passed Hawaiian airlines requirements. The provided crate worked perfectly and met all of the standards. I appreciate that you can buy it directly from IPM. Helping me get all the paperwork organized and helping getting everything lines up so that quarantine was minimal. One dog was quarantined for one week. PROS: 1) Moving to Hawaii takes a lot of paperwork and preparation. IPM will walk you though the process, step by step. If you follow this process, you will not have any problems with the State of Hawaii or the cargo company used for the shipping. 2) The app used to communicate with you works well. You have to be patient as they only work M-F between normal business hours on HI time. You can take pictures of documents to upload them to the app, which makes it easy. CONS: 1) You will NEVER speak to a live human throughout the entire process, except when they deliver your pet to you at the end. ALL communication will and must go through the app. When it comes close to when your pet will fly, you will be given a phone number that is ONLY to be used in emergencies. When your pet's flight gets cancelled (which mine did), they will NOT call you. You can call the emergency number and someone will answer, but they will not work the problem with you over the phone and reassure you that all will be well. The person just refers you back to the app to solve the problem through the chat. This business model does not give the customer a "warm and fuzzy" when things go sideways. 2) If you express frustration at the situation through the app when things do go wrong, you will be called rude for wanting to talk to an individual. Then you will be told (through the chat app) that it's not their fault (even when you already know it's not) and also be told they are "helping you out" to solve the problem, when in fact you paid money for a service and they are just delivering the service you paid for. A simple phone call to the customer to put them at-ease and work the problem goes a long way. Which will not happen. read more

They walk you through all the paperwork step by step, necessary vaccines, testing needed, assist with filing of paperwork to the right places at the right time and scheduling the flights. They communicated directly with our vet to be sure they stayed on task and on time as well. They also can ship the proper crates right to you. They offer a 50% refund if you return them after the move. Shannon and her team are awesome and know exactly what they are doing. Communication is excellent with nearly instant responses during business hours to texts on the app. I was a very nervous dog dad of 2 large dogs and texted them constantly with questions and they remained supper patient, reassuring and attentive. The best part of what they do is keeping an exact sequential timeline. They will not let you falter. My dogs arrived safely. healthy and were relased from arrival right away. IPM also offered transport to our house, a service that was extremely helpful because they pick up the dogs for you right at the arrival site and bring them right to.you.
