Dr. Audrey Bolaños and her Vet assistant, ( I wish I had her name because she was excellent) both showed such kindness, patience and expertise, I instantly was at ease and their care exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised the charge was very reasonable and to not have to pay surcharge due to Sunday same day visit was the icing on the cake.

The vets were great and the prices were fair…read more Unfortunately, it now feels like veterinary care is going the same direction as so many other industries; corporate ownership and private equity. A recent example really bothered me. During my dog's visit, the vet specifically told me she would NOT recommend removing his canine teeth. A week later, I received the estimate by text and, sure enough, canine tooth extractions were included as recommended treatment... at $400 a tooth! I obviously want the best care for my dogs and don't mind paying for things they actually need. But lately, it feels like the vets are being pushed to sell more services, almost like the main job of a veterinarian has shifted to something more like a used car salesperson; from providing proper and reasonable care to increasing commissions and gross profit. Really disappointing because King Street used to be a clinic I trusted completely.

He was more comfortable, steadier on his feet, and today he got up by himself and started walking around again--something that felt impossible just days ago. As someone with an older dog dealing with disc disease, possible ACL issues, and neurological weakness, it is scary and emotional when they are in pain and lose mobility. The care, attention, and treatment plan made a real difference for Joey. I am beyond grateful for the compassion, skill, and willingness of Dr Asato and her team to look at the whole picture instead of just one symptom. Seeing him improve like this has been such a relief and gives me real hope. Thank you for helping give my dog his comfort, mobility, and spirit back

We had a big scare with our pup when we suspected she may have swallowed a piece of her toy late at…read morenight, so we called VERC and were advised to bring her in. Emotions were running high, and we're so grateful for how kind and reassuring everyone was throughout the entire experience. When we called, the receptionist remained calm, gave us clear directions on how to get to the location and navigate the construction, and reassured us to drive safely because they would be waiting for us. That kindness meant a lot during such a stressful moment. Once we arrived, we checked in and were promptly brought into a room to meet with the vet tech. We spent a couple of hours there, and they even offered tea, coffee, and cocoa. Despite it being late and the situation being stressful, the staff took the time to explain what steps they were taking and walk us through our options as things became more serious. They answered all of our questions and helped us feel informed throughout the process. We ultimately had to leave our pup at the hospital for a procedure, but the team kept us updated with a phone call and let us know when she would be ready for pickup the following afternoon. At discharge, we were brought into a room where the instructions for her recovery were explained verbally. They also provided a printed copy of the instructions and a bag of medication so we could properly care for her at home. This was our first time visiting an emergency vet, and while we hope we won't need to return anytime soon, we couldn't be more appreciative of the care our pup received. Everyone we interacted with was kind, patient, and reassuring during a very scary experience. Our girl is recovering well, and we're so thankful to the entire VERC team for taking such good care of her.

We had to switch vets once before finding this clinic, and ever since then, we've truly trusted and appreciated the care they provide. Everyone at the front is always so friendly and welcoming, and they always play with our husky! I totally understand that huskies love everyone, but not everyone loves a husky's playfulness, so I really appreciate the attention and love they show our dog. One time, our husky injured her paw with a deep cut that needed after-hours care, and I am forever grateful that Dr. Hsu was available to see her right away. Even though he had already left the office, he was willing to come back for her. I think the care they provide, the heart they put into what they do, and the genuine compassion they have for animals are such important qualities when finding the right vet. We've also utilized their in-house boarding services. At first, we were worried about how our dog would do, but she did more than fine and has loved going back multiple times. The boarding process is also very seamless. They take care of her daily meals, provide 3-4 walks a day, and if anything ever comes up, they're already a vet clinic, so they can provide professional advice and care right away! I highly, highly recommend their services, knowledge, and care. I will always trust my dog in their hands. 10/10!!
