Cute place! Nice, clean, spacious. I came here to work remotely for a couple of hours. They had reliable wifi. The Chai Latte was really good! But the Blueberry Muffin (I think olive oil), left something to be desired. Maybe it would have been better warmed up? Maybe they were supposed to offer that to me? They didn't... I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Went here after lunch for dessert on a Saturday. At the center is where one orders the food and drinks. Around it are the tables and chairs; nevertheless, it can still be hard to find a table because of how busy the place can get. Ambiance is casual. Service was quick. The pineapple passionfruit matcha bombe was soft. Its matcha was not overpowering and the sweet pineapple and passionfruit in the middle were a great combination. Walnut brownie and strawberry & raspberry cheesecake were very good. Great pastries.

Ambiance 9/10 - inside is so cute and love the street view. The music was good but it was hot in there so I believe the A/C was down or just not on and they had all the window shades up while it was 90 with sun. But other than that airy and cute place. Service 3/10 - Not very friendly at all up front. Basic bare minimum like brought me my food lol. But they had the menus out and the cleaned off others ppl stuff but I had to throw away and separate my own trash. Food 10/10 - the BLAT WAS EVERRRRRYYYYYTHINGGGG!!! I got the mint tea cooler it was AMAZING and the cheesecake cup was like heaven in a cup I enjoyed every bite and sip of each thing I got!!! We need one in LA PLEASSSSEEEE!!!

This is the fourth Tatte location I visit, never disappointed. The bakery goods are amazing, the patisserie is very good, great coffee, super friendly staff, and the retro classic ambiance very warm.

While visiting DC, people told us about Georgetown, an area that feels far away from the big city, where modern and old have merged elegantly. And there we found it, at an unassuming corner. The inside was spacious with pastries on display everywhere around the center coffee station. Most people seemed to have found a cozy third place to work and escape the heat. I don't blame them, as this felt like a very comfortable place. Service was uncomplicated and nice. We were not rushed. Our server even pointed out how surprised he was that I finished all of my entree. Clearly he needs more experience. For our food, we ordered the Shakshuka with lamb meatballs, a pistachio coffee (seasonal drink), and the smoked salmon sandwich. The pistachio coffee had pistachio crumble, making it tasty and with a nice texture. The Shakshuka was a big dish, skillet-style, bright in color and flavor! The tomato sauce was rich, the dill and parsley made the flavor vivid. The eggs were perfectly poached and the meatballs were tender, juicy, and to die for! The slices of challah bread were buttery. The smoked salmon sandwich was really good. The salmon was smoky and flakey and the sliced avocado made it creamy. The sprouts added some nice texture to an already great sandwich. Overall, our experience was amazing at a place we found by chance. Food and coffee were scrumptious. We definitely left wanting more items, but that would be for another time.

This location is so adorable - it definitely has the Georgetown feel! I came here on a Saturday with a friend and it was very busy. The line stretched outside the building. It loved pretty fast though. I ordered the ice tahini pumpkin oat milk latte, a seasonal drink that has become a fav! I also got the monkey bread. I don't know if I've seen it at the other Tatte's I've been to, but it was so good! I definitely recommend.

I have been to a few branches of Tatte ( DC, old town Alexandria, Bethesda, and in Boston) but I think this is my favorite location! It is bright and airy and spacious and they have Internet so this is a great spot to get some work done or work remotely. Everything I had here was delicious. For today's visit I just had the turkey BLT and their lime dessert! It was creamy and refreshing and delicious. Plus the service we had here was really good. The server was very funny and had interesting stories and had a really uplifting personality, which is always refreshing for me whenever I'm visiting a restaurant. Any time I'm in Georgetown this is definitely going to be one of my first stops.

This location in Georgetown has a very active but comfortable vibe. I stopped in on a Sunday at around 12:30pm. It was crowded, but I waited around for about 5 minutes before a table opened up. Once I claimed my table, I went up to order. I had a hot chai latte and the short rib grilled cheese sandwich. The chai latte was good - nothing bad nor spectacular about it. The sandwich was very good. The horseradish beet relish provided a sweet brightness to the shredded meat's smokiness. The only thing I would have liked better would for there to have been a larger amount of melty cheddar. As it was, the cheese (aged cheddar) was there in the background. It would have been great if it was more prominent.

We initially intended to go to Yellow for breakfast but the line snaking around the outside of the building was a deterrent since we were on a time crunch for another appointment in the area. Tatte was right across the street so we made a beeline for it. It was packed as well so it became a merry go round for chairs. My bf was finding a spot while I placed our order and got a table number stand thing (what even is the official name for those?). I ordered the spinach, Jerusalem artichoke and egg plate, also known as Cilbir. The issue is it was meant to be a poached egg and my egg yolk was very much hard boiled and solid. Also the predominance of the garlic labneh was a bit unappetizing for me - there was not enough chilli oil or other flavors to it. My bf got the Muesli which he enjoyed. Granola, fruits and greek yogurt - hard to mess up admittedly. I have been to other locations of Tatte and enjoyed my meal but this location felt very rushed and yeah little things like expecting a poached egg and then getting a hard boiled yolk instead was a bit of a let down.

Tatte Bakery & Cafe in Georgetown has to be my favorite location in DC! There's plenty of seating, and the space is really spacious. The staff is super friendly and offers great recommendations. I tried the ginger date latte, which was amazing--definitely my new favorite! Although my sister thought it was a bit too sweet for her taste. For food, I had the GF Smoked Salmon and Avocado Tartine, which was delicious, though I wasn't a fan of the GF bread. Can't wait to try other items from their menu :)

We went to the grand opening of the Tatte Georgetown location and were disappointed they didn't do anything special :( Food and drinks were good as always (but expensive). Food 5/5 Service 5/5 - always very nice staff!! Vibes 4/5 - The interior looks very similar to most tattes in DC

Tatte has always been my go-to spot, but this salmon bowl was hands down the best dish I've ever had in my life! Even on a busy Sunday afternoon when the place is packed, you can still find a way to seat yourself. The vibe is always so warm and inviting great energy, cozy atmosphere, and the kind of spot you just never get tired of coming back to.

Lovely cute cafe in Georgetown. Went on Sunday morning and there were lots of people working on their laptops here so be prepared to order to-go or wait to find a seat. There's also some outdoor seating too. The line moves fast. Ordered the house latte (has honey halva) and leek quiche which were both quite tasty!

They are open until 1 PM on Saturdays, we reached at around 11:30 AM and I was half hoping for them to be out of most items. Fortunately, even though they were super packed, we were able to find all of the items we were looking for - thanks to the hard working staff as they continue to make their pastries until closing - unlike so many other bakeries these days that make a certain amount and call it a day! Now to the food, everything we had was absolutely phenomenal! I am not a donut person but I loved theirs as they were very flavorful and weren't too sweet. I definitely prefer their Ube and Pandan over the Black sesame donut. The Matcha chocolate croissant and the Ube Kouign Amann were my favorites of the bunch! I cannot recommend them enough, this will surely be my first stop every time I am in DC!

The space is a pretty cute, modern café with cherry blossom décor and a great mix of sweet and savory pastries. We honestly tried almost everything Garlic Scallion Bun - Soft, lightly toasted with just the right crunch. Inspired by a Taiwanese garlic bun, it was super easy to eat and one of my favorites (9/10). Matcha Chocolate Twice-Baked Croissant - A rectangular croissant absolutely loaded with matcha and chocolate, topped with matcha powder. It was almost a bit too heavy on the matcha for me, and the bitterness overpowered the chocolate. Banana Chocolate Twice-Baked Croissant - Banana cream on top with banana chocolate inside. Pretty straightforward--tasted exactly like what you'd expect from a banana chocolate croissant. Ube Cheese Kouign Amann - Unique sweet-and-savory combo. The ube adds a subtle sweetness while the cheese gives it a creamy balance. Rich and slightly dense, and I just wished there was a bit more filling to balance the pastry. Miso Garlic Salted Bread - One of my top picks. Savory, buttery, and paired with a slightly sweet brioche-like base that balances everything really well. Elote Bread - Corn-topped savory bread with a nice sweetness and texture. This and the miso garlic bread were tied for my favorites. Strawberry Passionfruit Kouign Amann - Fruity and rich, but a bit filling overall. I just wished there was more filling to balance the pastry. Sugared Donut - Simple and classic, just a soft, sugary donut done right. Drinks: * Strawberry Matcha & Mango Matcha - Both layer fruit puree with matcha, but the flavors stay quite separate rather than blending together. * Vietnamese Coffee with Cold Foam - Strong coffee base with strawberry-flavored cold foam. It's pretty sweet overall with less of a coffee-forward taste, but still smooth and enjoyable. * White Mocha Latte - More coffee-forward compared to the sweeter drinks, which I actually preferred. Overall, I loved my visit--great spot for both savory and sweet pastries with creative flavor combinations and a lot to try. I definitely preferred the savory items over sweet here particularly the garlic scallion bun!

The tuna sandwich asked for lettuce and told can't add lettuce. My husband asked for something not on his lamb pita, same story. Oh well. No customization at all, no subs. Makes business easier, but not as attractive for price point for customers. I'll remember to keep it to coffee and pastries from now on. Chicken pita was good, a bit heavy on the parsley but loved the dressing. Tuna sandwich was a hit. Pastries are always good. My pistachio latte was chewy bc it had grainy bits of pistachio in it. I was so excited to try some of these harder to find pastries. I had a Turkish beef börek and a cheese finger börek. They warmed them up for me, but they still weren't very warm - I'd probably ask for them to warm them up twice next time. The beef börek was good; the cheese finger börek was good, too, if maybe a teensy bit dry. I also got one of their signature coffees. While these coffees sound interesting and delicious and creative, I wish there an option or two that weren't as sweet. I tried the Sultan's Velvet, which was just way too sweet for me. Next time, I'll stick to a classic coffee - an americano or a cappuccino - since they have it all. There's quite a bit of seating - some downstairs, some upstairs, and some outside. I sat down and read my book while I enjoyed my pastries. It's definitely the kind of place that is comfortable to sit and enjoy. The customer service was friendly and fast. Overall, I'm glad I stopped by Caspian Crust. Georgetown is lucky to have several pastry shops/bakeries, but Caspian Crust is different and stands out. Its focus on Turkish and Azerbaijani pastries means that there's something for everyone - some classics for those folks who like what they like with their coffee, more savory pastries with meat or cheese or olives, and some sweet but less common pastries as well. Great flavors and variety. It's also cozy, comfortable, and casual, with good customer service. I'd be happy to return.
