Arctic Char And Avocado Roll California Roll
    Sabrina Z.

Came here with my friend for happy hour on a Thursday. We made a reservation for 5:30 pm, and we got sat immediately. Our server (who was also the host) was amazing, making sure we were always okay. The happy hour items were all $6 each, and we got: - iwana nigiri 5/5 (I love iwana) - katsuo nigiri 2/5 (was fishy) - shiro maguro nigiri 4/5 (it was yummy, but I'm not the biggest fan of tuna) - arctic char & avocado roll 5/5 - crunchy California roll 4/5 (wasn't deep fried, just had something like panko on top) - soju margarita 3/5 (tasted like lemonade, not a bad thing, but didn't taste like alcohol was in it) - ikaage 5/5 (perfectly fried, light batter, came with a spicy mayo and a sweet mayo)

Average spot for rolls, but we were in the area and in a hurry so it was pretty good for what we expected. The extinguisher roll was pretty cool since it came on fire but was overall gimmicky. The fire went out pretty fast as well, considering the waiter said some people like to heat their rolls more on the fire but there was no time too. Walked in on a weekend and wasn't packed and parking was really easy to find on the street luckily. Food/ 7/10 Service: 9/10 Ambience. 7/10

My friends and I came here for happy hour and ordered spicy edamame, most of the nigiri, a couple of rolls, and agedashi tofu--plus the essential adult drinks. The only miss for me was the agedashi tofu; it didn't have much flavor. Everything else was solid, especially at about $6 per item--hard to beat. Service was great and there were plenty of tables. The ambiance was simple: bright lighting, simple decor, very clean, and we sat at high tables. We made a reservation, but you could probably get by without one. Definitely would come back.

Rating as a dinner customer! Been here for happy hour and it's one of the best sushi happy hours in the city For dinner, took a couple visiting from NYC here because they specialize in vegetarian and vegan sushi and one of my friends is allergic to fish! Lots of options for those who might have the same situation :) Get the HARVEST MOON roll! Service is quick and when not super busy they'll give you a choice between high top or low top! Ambiance is casual and more of a local spot, they loved it. Sake was good and a highlight was the Extinguisher roll of course. Tataki plates are the best here but we were feeling standard sushi rolls. Their rolls specialize in not the typical kinds of fish, but that's what we like about Tataki is they have a lot of good ALBACORE dishes! Prices are really reasonable compared to other sushi spots in the city.

This spot has a great happy hour and selection of vegetarian dishes! Service was a bit slow on a Friday evening, but otherwise it was great. I love the Nasu Agebitashi! Food: 9/10 Ambience: 8/10 Service: 7/10 Vegan-friendly: 9/10

Happy Hour: (5/5) - $6 spicy margaritas! I would come back for that alone. There were also other food and drink items all for $6 during 4:30-6:30pm. Service: (5/5) - was super friendly. I didn't know the menu and she patiently explained what each dish was. Food: (5/5) - again, I had no idea what I ordered but it was all good. Tasted very clean (not oily or fatty) and fresh.

Kind service and workers! Neat and tidy place. Love the vibe of the place. Didn't have a reservation but was able to get a seat! Love the happy hour! Nigiri are nicely prepared. Rolls are always good and filling. Love the tofu! A must always. Hand rolls were good, just small portion of the nigiri. Margs always does its job. Def recommend!

We decided to try out Tataki during happy hour on a Saturday. It wasn't as busy as I thought it would be. We got seated right away, ordered some drinks and appetizers, then ordered our food a few minutes later. Our servers were very nice. They gave us lots of recommendations. The food came out very fast. I loved how big their happy hour menu is. I would definitely take advantage of the $6 drinks if you're in the area! There is limited street parking but this place is easy to find.

Had a fun evening here with friends. Delicious sushi and sake. They close at 8.30 (!) but were nice enough to let us hang out for longer. Get the salmon toro and thank me later.

Came here to try out their happy hour deals before a concert at the Independent (definitely walking distance)! My friend and I tried the drinks (sangria and margaritas for the day we went), and we got the ikaage, the arctic char & avocado roll, shrimp tempura roll, saba nigiri, and crunchy spicy tuna hand roll! All the food was fresh and delicious! And such a good deal too! I'll definitely be back again - overall definitely a 10/10! I liked the ambiance as well - there is plenty of seating and the dim lighting and decor add to the overall vibe of the restaurant! The service was also good! The servers are attentive and food comes out relatively quick! :)

So my husband and I came here for their HH. It was good but not great as I was hoping for. The rolls are good but, I do wish they had more of a variety. I mean they do have a few good ones but they are basically all the same concept. I really didn't enjoy the calamari and their nigri sushi. The miso soup was very hot and delicious. I might come back again and try rolls from their menu.

Our go to place for sashimi and Happy Hour menu. The fish is fresh and service is kind and attentive. Easy parking within a block or two usually.

Came here with a friend for happy hour a little after 5pm. We were sat immediately by the hostess. We ordered exclusive off the happy hour meal and I think it was a good deal for the price! Oh and they provided complementary green tea at the end of our meal. Despite being a relatively large space the place was very busy and if your party is more than 2, I recommend considering a reservation.

They had a sign advertising a special where you can order two items from a list and it comes with soup, salad, and rice, but we ended up just splitting two house special rolls - the Salmon Mango roll and Rock N Roll roll (tuna, avocado, spicy mayo). Both were delicious. I particularly liked the Salmon Mango roll - it was a perfect mix of sweet and savory. The rolls came with 8 pieces each and each piece was a good size, so it was plenty for two of us. I also got a Sapporo beer (bottle) to sip on. Overall, good experience - quick, efficient service and satisfying meal.

It added a fun, modern touch and definitely made the experience memorable. It's not every day your food is delivered by a robot and train. It brought a lot of smiles and conversation to the table. On top of the entertainment, the food itself was fresh and delicious. There was a great variety of sushi to choose from, and everything we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. I think the combination of good food, unique service, and a lively atmosphere made this a standout dining experience.
