Always loved eating at Tasty wok! Decided to bring my family to come and eat dinner here! Fast service, quick ordering, and accurate to a T with how efficient they are here

Was pleasantly surprised how top notch the food was! Quality of ingredients and unique menu items make Tasty Wok stand out from other options in the area. Chicken Paad Thai and Chicken Mixed Vegetables were fantastic. Both cooked to perfection. They didn't ask a spice level on either; the Paad Thai was mildly spicy maybe a 7 at most restaurants, I loved it. The Wonton Soup with dumplings was great and seemed fresh. The Bibigo Chicken Wontons were also good, but were missing something. The staff were super friendly and service was great. Limited indoor seating. Lack of fountain soft drinks or even water, and no alcohol may turn off some. We will definitely be coming back!

Broccoli Beef with extra beef

For Springfield, this place has some good items. I love their Mongolian Beef (蒙古牛) (I ask for it spicy) and their Beef with Broccoli (芥兰牛) I always get extra beef on everything and a side of steamed rice. I've tried other things here, but I highly recommend these dishes for anyone going here. Being from a city that has amazing Chinese food (and am going through withdrawals lol), these are my go to items every time. Anytime I have eaten here, the service is always great and the hosts are very kind.

It's crazy cheap here. I stopped in for the lunch buffet on a Thursday afternoon at about 1pm and…read morepaid just $11.19 total (food, drink, and tax included). For this, you'll get a moderate assortment of food to choose from. Unfortunately, most of what I chose was somewhat bland, and the meats were generally tough. If you look at my photos, you'll see they mix a lot of leftover, smaller pieces in with the new food. To get around this, pick through and get the newer stuff. The one single item that absolutely impressed me was the breaded chicken in peanut sauce that was tender, juicy, and delicious! A++ In reality, its more of a two or two and a half star rating, but It's hard for me to ding them too hard when I'm doing AYCE Chinese but paying less than a McDonald's combo meal. And Here's Another Piece To Chew On: It's a little different set up here: *You pay up front at the counter. *You can tip on your card before you eat or bring cash for the table. *Drinks and food are self-serve and unlimited. *There's zero service here. *They make no effort to remove plates until a guest leaves.

Parking is easy, and the building is handicap assessable. You pay first upon entering. This is Chinese Buffet-style food. It has your typical Chinese favorites; they have a different type of sauce color, like the General Tso Chicken. (it was a brown sauce and not the Spicy Red glaze.) They also have a version of Chicken teriyaki; it's not on a stick and is pinkish in color. Very weird looking, and I didn't try it. The buffet had a lot of chicken dishes, and the chicken was cut into tiny pieces. The fried rice and noodles lacked flavor. No dish stood out except for the Egg Rolls. For which I can't lie; I ate 3. The buffet setup is perfectly laid out with self-service drinks. The decor is a mid-90s flashback.

I don't take more than 2 from a roll but sometimes I can only have 2 pieces of a roll the entire time while I'm there. They have a vast choice of food, esp chicken if you like it. You know you come a lot when he remembers who you are.... My family lol. The pricing you really can't go wrong with either! I believe the drinks they serve are coke products. I was pleasantly greeted, and had my drink order taken at the hostess stand. I went to the buffet, and my iced tea was waiting for me when I got back. The food here is, all around, very good, and there's a good selection of maybe 55 - 60 items in total. I tried a variety of items, including sushi, seaweed salad, pepper chicken, spicy chili oil chicken, lo mein, chicken skewers, buttered shrimp... All very good. The only thing that didn't impress me was the hot and sour soup. It was probably leftover from the day before as it was a little gloppy. (Good flavor, though). Their prices were quite good for it being a nicer place with good quality food and a very nice selection. I'll certainly give them more of my business, soon.

Better than ramen I've had in San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago or Dallas. The chili oil or sashuan oil is not as hot as I thought. Easy to eat, even if you can't tolerate much spice. YE Gurl Says: Hidden Vibes, Solid Bites at Speakeasy Ramen…read more Place: Speakeasy Ramen Address: 365 Ludlow Avenue, Springfield, OH Date: March 26 Accompanying the beau on a work day trip, he said he looked up a ramen spot to go to. So we pulled up to Speakeasy Ramen not knowing exactly what to expect, but let me tell you--it's giving lowkey, tucked-away gem with personality. A large house turned restaurant with a large patio and on a rather unassuming neighborhood block... I was taken aback. What we ordered: * Moto Taco * Takoyaki * Panko Shrimp * Thai Curry Ramen * Spicy Cheese Ramen (sub shrimp) * Lychee Ramune * Yuengling Total: ~$64 for two -- and honestly? Not bad at all for the spread. Let's get into it. The apps came out swinging. The takoyaki had that classic savory, slightly crispy outside with soft center situation going on in the traditional balls not the pancake style and the panko shrimp delivered the crunch you expect. Moto taco? Fun, different--definitely a good start to the meal. Now the ramen... The Thai Curry Ramen brought flavor--rich, warm, and a nice switch-up from your standard broth. But the standout? Spicy Cheese Ramen with shrimp I know... it sounds like it could go left. But it actually works. Creamy mac and chesse sauce vibes, spicy, indulgent--this is one of those bowls that's not traditional, but you're not mad about it either. Drinks were simple--Ramune for a little nostalgic pop, and a casual beer to round it out. YE Gurl Insight: This isn't your polished, big-city ramen bar--and that's exactly the point. It's got character, a little creativity, and enough flavor to make you remember it. Could it compete with spots in Chicago or New York City? Yes and it has even won awards and been in some food mags. This is how the beau found it. Crazy right! It's a strong showing. Final Take: If you're in the area and want something casual but not boring, this is worth the stop. Good variety, solid portions, and a menu that's willing to play a little. YE Gurl Says: Pull up, order a few things, and don't overthink it--this is a "try a little bit of everything and enjoy the ride" kind of spot.

SEVEN WORDS: GREAT HOMETWON TASTE / COMFORT FOOD / GOOD PORTIONS…read more . Meadows Restaurant is a Destination Trip, so if you're not inspired, you may miss out - on a VERY Good Meal. Located Right on Route 40, its truly inconvenient if you're coming from the Wrong Direction. However, its really worth it to drive past it, make a U-Turn on a Busy Highway, and then turn into the uphill drive to the private parking lot. . Meadows is VERY CONVENIENT to the Nearby Antique Mall, though, so this is a GREAT DAY TRIP for anyone making the Journey. All that being said, let's talk Food! . I was feeling a little heavy from breakfast, so I opted for the Grilled Chicken Salad. My wife, ever the Pork lover, ordered the Pork Chops with 2 Sides. Our food arrived quickly - around 10 minutes - and we were pleasantly surprised with two large dishes. . My Dish, a Grilled Chicken Salad, came in a Large Chilled Salad Bowl. To be honest, not a lot of Restaurants understand the importance and sheer luxury of chilled China ware when it comes to cool dishes like salad. . The Lettuce was chopped Iceberg. Every bite was fresh and there were no clumps of lettuce that hadn't been fully separat3d before prep. The tomatoes, were hearty Roma, and the cheese was a grated Mozzarella.Four marinated and crisp grilled to near perfection. Juicy and Crisp, these Chicken Spears were a perfect. So yummy and just barely sweetened by the vinegarette marinade. I only ate half. However, gobbled up the rest as we got home. 2 meals for me. . My Wife's Grilled zporknCops came with two sides. She chose Apple Sauce and Green Beans. The Pork Chops were also well-cooked: Crispy outside, tender within. She cleaned her plate and did the same with her beans and apple sauce. Mund you, she hadn't eaten all day, so even if she eats like a 5-foot-tall farm girl, there was enough to fill most anyone. On top of that, she left appy, so there's that. . Why a 4? Location, location, Location. If you're nearby: YOU GOTTA GO. If you're not, i can't see it being a Destination you'd seek out over a place 10 miles closer to home.
