Carry out ordered as a walk in, they are fast and friendly, everything is cooked to order. I got the special for the day which was the chow fun, flat noodles, I got them with pork. Delicious, this might be my new favorite Chinese noodle. Richelle got the fried rice. We both enjoyed or food. Lots of Asian dishes not just Chinese, I'll be back to try a curry dish. I don't know why, but I thought this was going to be a trendy chain restaurant, like a piada or chipotle, because the menu had so many different Asian cuisine choices, but it a normal non chain family owned business. read more

Amazing worker, she was wonderful and very kind. Told us to take as much condiments and fortune cookies as we'd like. Great food, very large portions made for lots of leftovers. The taste of the orange chicken is very orange forward, possibly an orange zest in it, definitely recommend. The best was the dumplings. Honestly probably the best steamed pork dumplings i've had. We ordered for pickup/takeout but the actual restaurant was very clean and nice inside, thinking next time we might eat in! read more

Was pleasantly surprised how top notch the food was! Quality of ingredients and unique menu items make Tasty Wok stand out from other options in the area. Chicken Paad Thai and Chicken Mixed Vegetables were fantastic. Both cooked to perfection. They didn't ask a spice level on either; the Paad Thai was mildly spicy maybe a 7 at most restaurants, I loved it. The Wonton Soup with dumplings was great and seemed fresh. The Bibigo Chicken Wontons were also good, but were missing something. The staff were super friendly and service was great. Limited indoor seating. Lack of fountain soft drinks or even water, and no alcohol may turn off some. We will definitely be coming back! read more

1st time going to Tasty Wok and had a horrible experience. My friend went in to pick up order, paid & left a tip. I drove the 12 minutes home & right as we walked into the door, my phone rings & I answered it at 9:14pm, we left the restaurant at 9:02pm, anyways the lady on the phone was from Tasty Wok & she told me that we stole someone's food & need to return it now! I asked what she was talking about & explained to my friend who had went in & he said "she literally handed me 2 bags of food, I didn't know I didn't have the correct order!" It's not like he took it, the employee handed him both bags. She kept repeating herself, I tried telling her that I'm not driving another 25 minutes round trip while my food gets cold just so she can give the other cold order to a different customer, she wouldn't stop so I hung up. She immediately texted me & I have screenshots of the entire conversation! She said that we took the food & we should return it, I again responded by text (while my dinner was sitting & getting cold) I explained that she or another employee is more than welcome to come here & pick up the order but I'm not driving there again & it's unsanitary to give a order of food to a customer after a different customer has already had it for this long. She then text that I needed to return it because none of the employees have cars so they cannot come get the order. After more back & forth, she even sent screenshots of camera footage from my friend receiving the order in the restaurant & said to me that they have camera footage, as if we had done something wrong & she had it on camera!! Finally she text & said never mind we don't even want it back now then a minute later she text to say that she apologized & her manager said it was her fault. So I accepted her apology, however I do think this is really unacceptable & unsanitary. I've never had a experience like this before & the fact that they messed up & blamed the customer to try to cover her mistake, especially after receiving a tip for a pickup order, 20% tip. After all of that, the vegetable fried rice was not good at all & the crab Rangoon was very hard, almost stale. I would never eat there again. read more

For Springfield, this place has some good items. I love their Mongolian Beef (蒙古牛) (I ask for it spicy) and their Beef with Broccoli (芥兰牛) I always get extra beef on everything and a side of steamed rice. I've tried other things here, but I highly recommend these dishes for anyone going here. Being from a city that has amazing Chinese food (and am going through withdrawals lol), these are my go to items every time. I visited Tasty Wok with and on the suggestion of my brother and his wife. Our server took our drink order first I ordered water. The server brought me back a bottle of water. I asked if he was charging me for it I said don't want it. Indignantly I decided l just to have an eggroll. My original thought was to have Mongolian Beef. BUT didn't want to patronize a resturant that didn't provide free drinking water. My sister-in-law saved the day by telling our server that I don't drink bottled water and asked if he'd bring me a glass of tap water. He did. This brought them up a bit in my star rating, as did the Mongolian Beef that I ordered since he accommodated me with tap water. Had there been Ice in the water it would have been a solid 4 star review. While not the best Mongolian Beef in the United States I do believe it was the best in Springfield Ohio in recent memory. This resturant was a small unassuming resturant . It probably won't make my list of must visits when I'm in town. But then again it did not make my do not return to list. Oh I did like the beautiful plate the served my meal on. AT its current price point I felt that a small bowl of soup some Waltons with sweet and sour sauce and I should have had fried rice instead of steamed. The worst chinese food I've ever had. Hadn't been back for a year and decided to try one more time...mistake. Chicken was really weird in texture and looks...didn't even taste like chicken. Asked for a side of human sauce, came in only 1 size for 2.65. Big, like it was a bowl of soup...I just wanted a tiny amt of this. Was like water! Tasted weird! I threw out my 16.50 meal. I did call the man at the front counter and he said " how can I make it right"? I said I didn't want anything and would definitely not be back. Had 3 different meals after they first opened...food is awful...no veggies for example in the sweet and sour chicken for one. They overcharge also for for this nasty food. I can go out and have a nice Chinese meal in Dayton for this price. Will never ever go back. Yuck! read more

I really have no clue how this place is rated so highly. I've been there twice and was not impressed either time. Food is bland with very little flavor. I tried it the first time and gave them the benefit of the doubt- maybe it was just the dish I ordered. Second time, different dish, same result. Staff wasn't very friendly either. read more

Ordered beef lo mein and chicken. White/steamed rice. Asked for gravy none. Ordered the chicken meal and comes with a spring roll. Neither had much meat, chicken only 3 small pieces. No vegetables. We tried Tasty Wok due to the good reviews. However, the reviews must have been from employees. This place was the worst Chinese food I've ever tried. My wife and I neither one of us could finish our meal. We throw the rest away. Almost half the serving. The fried rice was not fried it was colored yellow with nothing but can peas and carrot cubes. My General Tso's Chicken had no vegetables and no sauce with the chicken? chunks. We won't be back and warn others to beware. read more
