Handsome waiter and great food ^^ we had a great time here celebrating a friend's birthday. Lots of food are a little bit on the spicier side so might not suitable for family with small kids though. Loud and modern place. Overall this place is great!

This restaurant used to be pretty big before the malatang spot opened up next door. I used to enjoy the karaoke here and service was great during those times. Now it is significantly smaller, but the service is still very good here. However, due to the smaller size, the sound of people singing in the karaoke rooms will fill the restaurant space more easily and it does get very loud at times. I love this spot for the skewers, grilled squid, and the Chongqing spicy chicken. The servers were always making sure our waters were filled, and ordering was simple, all on the iPad.

I've been here for karaoke and just to eat. It has amazing food with a variety of skewers, different levels of spices, and just a fun ambiance. The rooms always provide the perfect amount its listed as and is always so fun to hang out with friends. The service is always amazing with them always checking when you're dining in and always ready to help out when you need help with anything in the karaoke rooms

We went on a Friday night at 10pm. The cooked meat was good but the servers were very overwhelmed with maybe KTV rooms and outside dining but they were very busy. Food came out in partial orders and we felt like we received the wrong orders but just accepted the dishes since it would take too long to fix the order and get the correct dish. This restaurant size, decoration, and concept is different from when it opened originally. We speculate the restaurant split in half. It is not as nicely decorated in the dining space as the photos show.

    Beef fried rice

Saw this place on Instagram and decided to give it a try! It did not miss! We ordered the beef fried rice, beef skewers, lamb skewers, and spicy fried bean curd! The fried rice was really good and had "wok hay". The meats on the skewers were so so tender and delicious! The spicy bean curd was definitely spicier than I thought, but so delicious! 10/10 would come back again! They even have karaoke! So fun!

Located in Bellevue, between crossroads and downtown. Off of 140th with plenty of free parking and an easy to find location. Service was good, you are greeted right away, you can make reservations, your food and drinks come quickly. The rooms are nice and clean and the set up is good. The door kept opening on us and we could hear the others through their room. But otherwise the experience was great and they have a good selection of English, Asian and Russian songs as well as access to YouTube. You order your food and drinks from a tablet from your room and the selection feels authentic, tastes great, priced great. Would definitely revisit.

The food is consistently delicious, the flavors are well-balanced, and the service is warm, attentive, and professional. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful dining experience!

Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking spaces. Upon entry, I noticed that the dining room is pretty narrow, about 6 tables with 4 seats at each. There is a karaoke plus mahjong room that is open for reserve for party. There are 2 beverage fridges that offer plenty of choices. I was directed to one of the tables and shown to orders on a tablet. The foods came out very slowly, more than 20+ mins and the waitstaff kept reassuring that this is part of the experience since skewered cooking takes time. We were the only table at that time. When the foods arrived, some were hot and some had gotten cold. I was told that the entire restaurant operate on a small grill only. The table that came in after us must have waited even longer. The taste was good. Our favorite was the beef, very flavorful, right amount of spices, not greasy and charred right. The rest weee all well prepared too. Overall, I enjoy the variety of skewers but I have to take a star off for the slow cooking time.

    Grilled fish

Amazing food,I'm ordered grilled fish, very good taste,my favorite place to dinner in my weekend.

I have missed this place! Their fried rice is soo good. And love their grilled options. Particularly the eggplant is the one I've missed having. Their service isn't great because they're not as attentive, but at least the food is good. The location has ample parking, but sometimes hard to find. The ambiance is fine though because they have ktv so you'll see some drunk people from time to time more so in the late evening. But Will definitely still come back here for their food.

It was, because Tasty House took over a former Chinese spot but improved on their quality. Ample parking in a good location. While they offer physical menus, they also have QR codes at each table for simple ordering online. We are accustomed to spots including rice with entrees so having to order it separately for an extra $2 per bowl feels bad. Items are large, so tailored for family style. Stir Fried Green Bean - as a green beans fanatic, my partner was a huge fan of the ones here. She liked these over our usual Canto spot which says a lot. The green beans themselves were fresh and cooked perfectly but the sauce was more flavorful than most. Very savory and lightly salty, not really spicy. Sweet and Sour Chicken - missing the onions and pineapple but a very sizable portion of large, tasty battered chicken paired with juicy and crunchy bell peppers. Definitely pair with some rice, there's a lot of sauce and a simple carb helps with balance. Shredded Pork with Sweet Bean Sauce - I was attracted by the steamed buns (gua bao), but the pork was tasty. A bit fatty and drenched in a savory, umami bean sauce, a simple carb like rice will help soak up sauce and balance flavors. There aren't enough buns for the meat, but they are a simple carb that balance out the meat and honestly, a refreshing change in flavor and texture.

That changed significantly in the next hour as there was a line out the door. Parking is at a premium and you may have to walk a little bit to get to the restaurant. Ordered the shrimp, fried rice and sweet and sour pork. I always have used fried rice as a good gauge of authenticity. The shrimp fried rice did not disappoint. Huge servings of shrimp and it was cooked without soy sauce being added so you could add it to taste. The sweet-and-sour pork was a generous portion, and I had a side of rice with it. It was flavorful and sweet and the pork was not overcooked. Great job. Also got an order of honey walnut shrimp. Generous sized prawns were used and they were delicious. I would recommend this for someone looking for an authentic Chinese experience

I chose this place to gather with friends today. Although it's called a Sichuan cuisine restaurant,…read moreit actually incorporates many elements of Hunan cuisine. Environment: The setting is very nice, with large tables and relatively comfortable seating for everyone. It's clean and hygienic. ‍ Service: The staff has a great attitude. They offer dining suggestions, introduce dishes, and provide advice on pairings and other details. Taste: I only took photos of a few dishes. The "Spicy Beef Trio" includes beef tripe, beef tongue, and beef aorta--by the way, the "aorta" here isn't the throat, but the aortic blood vessel of the cow. The flavor doesn't have the traditional Sichuan aroma, and since the three main ingredients are all foods with dense fiber, they don't easily absorb the seasoning. Clay Pot Tofu: This dish features salted egg yolk flavor, though the taste isn't too strong. I'd suggest steaming the egg yolks beforehand--reheating each ingredient can double its aroma. Signature Fried Rice: Packed with ingredients, with distinct grains. It's a fairly decent dish. As the foremost of the Eight Great Culinary Traditions of China, Sichuan cuisine originated because China's vast territory made it difficult to preserve many spices and ingredients. The use of heavy oil, heavy salt, and bold flavors was actually a way to mask certain imperfections to some extent. The cuisine is characterized by its numbing, spicy, and bold flavors. The sensation of spiciness doesn't travel through the same pathways as other tastes--it's actually a form of pain, which is why younger people tend to enjoy it.

It was a little busy so it took about 20 minutes before we were seated and my boyfriend's bowl came out. I noticed that my number was called but when we went up my bowl was not there. We asked the guy in the window if it was there or just a mistake and he said he had put it out and asked to see our receipt with the bowl number. He looked at our receipt and then went around the entire restaurant and found my bowl and the person who took it! (It was an accident, still frustrating). He told us that I could remake my bowl at no extra cost, but by that point we didn't have enough time to wait for it to cook and eat. They refunded us and brought over an extra side of oranges and gave us three drinks for free, which is extremely generous considering it was not their fault at all. I was bummed by not getting my meal but very grateful that they cared enough about my experience that they wanted to make up for a mistake that they didn't make. Now I'll have to come back again to get my bowl! TLDR: my bowl was taken by another costumer but I didn't have time for it to be remade so they gave me extra sides and free drinks **please don't take advantage of them, they WILL check your receipt and find your bowl

From the moment you walk in, the cultural atmosphere stands out--many of the patrons are Asian, and on my visit, a few were even dressed in traditional garments, which added a vibrant, lived-in feel to the space. It's the kind of detail you can't manufacture, and it speaks volumes about the restaurant's credibility within the community. The interior itself is fairly average--nothing particularly modern or upscale--but it doesn't detract from the experience. If anything, it keeps the focus where it belongs: on the food. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. There were only two servers handling the floor, and they were clearly stretched thin. Ordering is done digitally, which helps streamline things, but you can still feel the strain during peak times. That said, the food started arriving quickly--our tofu noodle dish came out almost immediately, while the beef dish lagged behind a bit. Presentation leans traditional in a charming way. The plates and chopsticks have that classic, no-frills aesthetic that complements the overall vibe of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food. First, a word of caution: spice levels here are no joke. If you're sensitive to heat, you'll want to dial it down. But if you can handle it, the flavors are absolutely worth it--rich, bold, and deeply satisfying. The tofu was exceptionally soft, almost silky, and clearly freshly prepared. The noodles matched that texture perfectly--tender, well-cooked, and comforting. Pricing is another strong point. For the quality and portion sizes, it's very reasonable, making it an easy spot to revisit without hesitation. Overall, Nine Noodles is a great pick if you're looking for authentic flavors, a culturally immersive atmosphere, and solid value. It's not about fancy decor or polished service--it's about good, honest food. I'd definitely come back.

I had lived in Beijing for 8 years and spoke pretty good mandarin for a 老外 so I ordered for us. Our waitress, one of two sisters who ran the place, I call her 陈大姐, said to me, Wow, you can speak Chinese! You must be very smart! I replied, You must be very smart. You can speak Chinese! At first she didn't know what to say but then laughed. It was the beginning of a lovely relationship. However since the pandemic we had not been back. Perhaps yesterday we were in the spirit of celebrating the Spring Festival. We decided to go there. What a great choice! 陈大姐 by coincidence was working. She retired years ago. (Her sister opened another 老四川 in Bellevue but unfortunately has since passed away.) 陈大姐 immediately recognized us. She remembered our son and other family members who often joined us there. It felt like old friends getting together again. Unfortunately my wife and I were the only ones in our little group. It's better to have more people so you can order more dishes. We only got 4 dishes, 宫保鱼, 椒盐虾,干煸四季豆, 夫妻肺片。Gong bao fish, salt and pepper shrimp, green beans and "husband and wife lung strips"! Actually that's a beef and tendon appetizer. Everything tasted just like we remember. Well, the fish dish was wetter than before but still tasty. Flavors are authentic but a little toned down from the Sichuan food in China and in a few other local restaurants. The main flavor of Sichuan cuisine is 麻辣 or spicy numbing. It's not really so hot as it is numbing. Your lips tingle. Most people who didn't grow up with this aren't big fans. Their 水煮肉 or 水煮鱼 comes pretty close though. Leftovers with either of those and leftover rice plus whatever make the very best 烩饭, huifan! Just boil it. We arrived there early and there were just a few other customers eating. And they left soon after. So it was just us and a steady stream of delivery drivers coming in to pick up food to go. I would consider ordering on line like that but this food doesn't hold up well over the distance to our home. Although the interior had been remodeled since our last visit, the decor is fairly stark. Combine that with the location in a strip mall on the corner of Jackson and 12th, which has seen better days, ambience isn't a real draw. However if what you want is a very good meal at reasonable prices then you should go to the Sichuanese Cuisine restaurant in Seattle. (I prefer it to the one in Bellevue.)
