I ordered the Pad Thai vegan without egg or fish sauce and they were able to accommodate me. My husband got his favorite, drunken noodles. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about, it's pretty small, but still clean and welcoming. You can tell they do a ton of takeout so they probably aren't too worried about a small seating area. The flavors were all there (my wife said it was one of the best Pad See Ew dishes she's ever had) and the servers were friendly. We came on a snowy Monday night and there was no one else dining here except us. However, the door basically didn't close because of takeout orders (I'm not exaggerating, it was nuts). We were here in February and this made the dining area too cold, so come prepared to wear an extra layer if you run cold like me. Other yelpers mentioned portion sizes being large. The Chicken Satay is a great appetizer to share and the chicken was tender. The chicken may be dry for some, so I recommend ordering drinks. We ordered the Thai Iced Tea and Thai Iced Coffee, which were both amazing and quenched our thirst during our meal. Again rice quality can be better but it's better than most so I'll take it Parang Curry - okay guys this is the star of the show. Perfect blend of sweet and spicy with a nutty flavor which reminds me of my fav Ghanaian soup. It's absolutely delish Crispy Pork and Crispy Duck: 10/10. Meat is crispy and flavor is perfect. I love the duck omg and the pork is like pork belly with some fat which I love Shrimp Tempura: 11/10. I love shrimp so I always get tempura in my takeout. The food is decent but when you put in your order they don't ask you spice levels and other important customer service things when taking an order. I always order the Pad Se Ew spicy and even when I made that clear there was no spice when I got it home. Thai food is supposed to be spicy! The boba is on point which got them the second star. Another issue is that they are always running behind on orders. They literally do not know when orders will be done. You have to add 20 min when the say the order will be done in 30 min. Tasty Thai has been one of my favorite lunch spots since I discovered it a few months ago. I've ordered from here a couple times a week for the last 4 months and everything has been delicious. This is why I am so disappointed when my order of Tom Yum soup earlier today came with a dime sized bug floating in it. Lived by here for seven months and missed out on it til a friend told me to go. Now it's my favorite takeout Thai spot in the city. Drunken noodles have that depth of sweetness and spice that you want, not just single-note red pepper heat. The curries are legit. They do a pineapple curry but it doesn't come with many veggies so I just substitute pineapple in for the eggplant in my red curry order. Medium/3 out of 5 heat creates a nice burn that is still fine without help from alcohol or dairy. Portions are massive. I love spots that give a tall tupperware of curry rather than the short size. And the noodles seem to go on forever. I eat a LOT and still get 3-4 meals out of two entrees. Also, they're one of the few places around that does khao soi, though I haven't gotten to try it yet because I want to eat in for that.
