    Japanese hot pot
    Jessica W.

This spot opened at an opportune time right before winter. Overall this is a nice location with plenty of parking. It's busy but we got lucky and didn't have to wait for a table. The service was fast and attentive as well. Food- i got the Japanese hot pot and was very satisfied. Everything tasted great and the portion was huge. They offer leftover containers which was great and handy. I wish they gave me a separate container for the noodles but otherwise the soup was still tasty as leftovers! Would definitely recommended if you're in the mood for some soup. Great for solo and small group dining.

I love Taiwanese hotpot! This place has a location in Phoenix and I am so happy that one opened up here. The hotpots are flavorful for the most part. Unfortunately, while this place was also great, the hotpot flavors were different. Perhaps a bit watered down? I'm not sure why but the menu is also different than the one in Phoenix. The consistency in flavors could use some work, but I still find it tasty. Tasty is in its name, after all. Service was a bit slow, and some seats at the booths were way too close together that they were a bit uncomfortable.

A new hot pot shop located at old 81 HK cafe place!! Menu is simple n have several classic Taiwanese n Chinese hot pot dishes!! You can choose a different level of spicy taste!!! Services were fast n efficient and the foods was right on but could be more variety of choices of meats ... Drinks were serving a free ice tea n a small green beans glass noodles but so smaller, could be a larger portions... Overall it's a ok n some more improvements..

you guys have your maps showing you are open on mondays. We came at 12:30 and you are closed til 3 pm. We came at 3 and there's no one here and you are still closed. We really wanted to try this place but it seems you guys just really wanted to waste our time. If we get a valid explanation for this horrible management then and got to actually eat here then maybe i'll give a better rating. No social media, no contact, no way of getting ahold of them and being on the same page either! Kinda trash

OK, so I made pescatarian and the only reason I'm giving this place three stars is because I was limited to one option off the menu. I couldn't order the seafood hot pot because it's made with bone broth, which makes absolutely no sense to me but to each their own. The service was great. They were very attentive, courteous, and the interior super clean and new and fresh and inviting and the music. I absolutely loved it.! I almost forgot I usually go for hot tea and when I ordered it, I didn't realize that they were bringing me an iced tea and it was just one of the best tasting teas I've ever had so delicious.!

A fantastic addition to Tucson! Having enjoyed TastyPot in Phoenix, I was thrilled to see a location open here--and it absolutely lives up to expectations. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the ordering process is streamlined: scan the QR code, create an account with your phone number, then browse and add items to your cart. You'll also pay directly through the same interface, making the whole experience smooth and efficient. We went with our go-to favorite: the Taiwanese Supreme hot pot, medium spicy. It arrived piping hot and packed with bold, umami-rich flavor--mala spicy, savory, and deeply satisfying. The pot includes a generous mix of seafood and beef, featuring: - Taiwanese cabbage - Instant noodle - Beef slices and tendon - Enoki mushrooms - Tempura - Clams - Fuzhou fishballs - Cuttlefish rings - Pork blood rice cake - Pork intestine - Fried tofu slices It's a hearty, flavor-forward bowl that hits all the right notes. For the best experience, I highly recommend pairing it with extra instant ramen ($1.25 extra)--perfect for soaking up the broth. Will definitely return for more!

We had lunch at the Mesa location inside Mekong mall. I had the tomato pot & my husband had the beef pot. The pot was much bigger than I anticipated, and the price was appropriate. Overall, it was an enjoyable and scrumptious meal.

It's not going to be the best you ever had in your life, and if you've been to Southern China, you're not going to be blown away. HOWEVER, it is the homemade taste that makes it good. It doesn't feel like any other restaurant, it feels like you are at somebody's house. Here's the thing, I came in expecting the usual Chinese food affair, but I left genuinely surprised and impressed. This restaurants specializes in Southern Chinese food, which is different from other regions. I am so happy this restaurant and its chains helps the cuisine gain exposure and adds depth to Chinese food in general. Even better, the menu is laid out in a way that it is easy to understand: gluten-free options, allergies, and spice level. The service was great. All though it isn't a "full" sit-down restaurant, everybody there seemed to know the menu well and was happy to be there. As a Cantonese person, it was nice hearing my language being spoken in the kitchen. The restaurant itself was immaculately clean and very modern. We came during early dinner time so the parking lot was near empty and easy to park. Overall, if you've never had Southern Chinese food or are looking for something more authentic than classic Chinese takeaway, definitely check out this location. The cherry on top are the big portion sizes and the price.

The Guilin Spicy & Sour was super hearty and the leftovers the following day were absolutely delicious. I really enjoy spicy dishes but in order to really appreciate all the flavors of the ingredients, I'd try the regular Guilin next time or see if the heat could be dialed back just a bit. Overall an 8/10. The Taiwan beef was a big hit too. That beef was so soft, it would just melt in my mouth. The veggies were cooked but still crisp, and those noodles were perfection; thick, not mushy at all, super tasty. And the next day it was even better! Mon-Thurs there's also a $1 drink (only certain drinks ) with any entrée special so we got a chance to taste the honey lemonade (tastes exactly like it sounds) and the iced milk latte (a bit too sweet but good).

Promptly seated, drinks brought out, order taken and food delivered fast, hot and correct. The background music was some chinese music tv station playing modern easy listening tunes and, along with the comfortable chairs and solid table made for a relaxing environment. The food? meh. You can see our order in the latest photo and how expensive it was. the Lo Mein was mostly tasteless and certainly lacking in thast "lo mein flavor." Although the meat was tender, the sauce was just a sticky brown sauce. Surprisingly, the Spicy Pickle Tofu was essentially the same sticky brown sauce as the Lo Mein but with some fried tofu in it and without the noodles but nothing otherwise remarkable. You can tell by looking at my earlier picture attached. The old picture shows a bright and colorful plate. The dish today was a dark brown (you could hardly see the tofu from the beef) as everything was just dark. Eggplant seemed to have a similar brown sauce as well but the eggplant was otherwise tasteless. Nothing popped. Chicken bites were bland and not at all crunchy. Just fried to soft texture but no real flavor. According to our server, the menu was just recently updated about a month ago. We noticed because one of our favorites was the Fried Taro Pie which is now gone from the menu and the server said yes, that's right. Maybe this place has a new owner or chef, but it's no longer in my top asian restaurants for Tucson.
