Was in this plaza as our vet is here too. Bought some coco bread, macaroons & patties here. The coco bread is so yummy & the macaroons are also delicious. The prices are reasonable. I don't think they are expensive compared to places like Bake Code. When I'm in the area I will buy & try more pastries here. I posted some pictures & as you can see they have a variety of pastries. Cakes, buns, macaroons, bread, patties, cupcakes, etc. They even have smaller slices of cake if you don't want to buy a whole cake. The service was great. Quick, friendly. The bakery is clean as well. A nice neighbourhood bakery.

Great, friendly service and delicious food! The oxtail was so juicy and tender. It also came with a generous portion. Earl grey souffle was made to order, it was perfect in every sense. I will come back for their mango or baileys souffle! Try to call ahead and pre order the souffle to ensure you dont leave disappointed!

    6 inch chocolate birthday cake

We ordered a birthday cake for my grandma's birthday. We were given a sheet of paper specifying the flavours they have and the prices. Unfortunately no photos were provided to give us a preview of what we can expect. Luckly there was a chocolate mousse cake in the fridge when we were there so that's why we picked it. We got the 6 inch version and it was $25. Some cheesecake options was $28 for 6 inch. We got to customize the words to be written on the cake and writing in Chinese was available. We ordered many days ahead so it was available when we came to pick it up. It came with a tiny candle taped to the box. The actual cake wasn't as nicely made as I expacted compared with what they had on display in the fridge. The glazed chocolate layer wasn't smooth on the side like it was drizzled by somebody with unsteady hands. I was expecting better quality for the price. The taste was alright, I liked the rich dark chocolate layer at the top and it wasn't overly sweet. But since it was chocolate it got pretty overwhelming after eating a small piece, so getting a smaller cake was the way to go.

Great customer service, nice, bright and clean store front. Patties taste so good, outside crispy inside the meat sauce melts in you mouth!

A little patisserie that offers a wide range of goods including HK bakery goods (giant pineapple buns!), a decent selection of Jamaican patties (beef, chicken, and even mini cocktail ones that you have to order ahead for), and a ton of nut-free cake selection! Even their macarons were nut-free which is pretty impressive since they're almond flour-based. The employee that was working wasn't able to tell us what the substitute was but assured us it was nut free. We wound up ordering a box of macarons and a jumbo chocolate chip cookie. The macarons were tasty! They weren't the exact same consistency as what you'd see in an almond-flour one. The flavours were pretty tasty though - especially the matcha one. Super rich in flavour. The cookie wasn't as great but super impressive to look at since it was so big. There were also a lottt of chocolate chips in them so if you love chocolate this is for you!

I decided to try this place once I heard everything they sell is nut free! There is no other place in all of Toronto that sells nut free macarons, so I was very excited to try them for the first time. For those with a nut allergy, they do not use almond flour (which is traditionally used). Instead, they use cucumber seed flour as a substitute. The macarons were very tasty and had lots of flavour, however they were a tad on the heavy side. I would highly recommend this place for people with nut allergies as they have a great variety of cakes, pastries, and small desserts!

This place is found in a tinggie plaza but the cakes here are amazingly good, got the green tea mousse cake which have a strong tea flavor to it and wasn't overly sweet $20 for a 6 inch Better than T&T cakes for sure

I may have a small addiction to George's Tastee Bread. The name speaks for itself, boy is it ever tasty! I recently moved to the area where George's is located and I am SO happy that I ventured in to try it one day - it's a place I'm almost certain I would have never checked out if I didn't live so close by. I've sampled a few of their desserts, soups, and other miscellany items but what really shines for me here are the breads & pastries. I pretty much exclusively come here for my breads now. Buns, Cocoa Bread, Loaf bread, Banana bread, etc. you name it, they got it! And it's always fresh and delicious! My most favouritestestest item is their coconut buns. Oh. My. Gosh. Little buns filled with heavenly, sugary, coconuty deliciousness. Try some. Eat them. Now! I hear they have some pretty rockin' beef patties, but I haven't had the chance to try'em yet. I'm glad that I live 5 minutes down the street from this place, though the part of me that tries to keep my carbs in check may despise this place a little :)

Drove by and found this cosy little bakery. Got the milk tea and mango surprise. Mango surprise not too sweet. Very filling. Good service, staff are very friendly. Will try their cake next time.

I normally don't write reviews buuuut THE best beef patties I've had in my life! I go to school three hours away but every time my parents come to visit they bring me a box or two of these beef patties. They taste amazing fresh but also just as good when you warm them up yourself! The people who work there are also super welcoming and helpful! Their chocolate chip cookies are on another level! The most chocolate chips I've ever seen and they taste amazing! Not too sweet but just the right amount. 100% would recommend!

I love love love this shop. The breads are so good. Exactly what I have been missing since I left the states. I also love the fact that this shop is nut free. So difficult to find awesome banana bread without nuts. But they have it here and it is delicious. So glad I found this place.

Jerk chicken and pork! Love how there is veggies. Portions are generous too!

It's a small cozy restaurant, only a couple tables for dine in, but due to the limited parking spaces in the area, it seems more popular for takeout/uber/fantuan orders. We were greeted warmly, and informed that luckily there were a few flavours left, as it was already quite late in the day and most would have been sold out already. We got one of each flavour, as listed: Lemon Pikachu, Pineapple Bulbasaur, Sea Salt Caramel Squirtle. The Pikachu had a good balance of sweet and tart. The Squirtle didn't taste like salted caramel, it tasted like sweetened butter. I didn't get to try the Bulbasaur, so can't speak on the flavour of that. Based on the poster, Bulbasaur wasn't coloured correctly, but it was still cute. Priced higher than other places and reasonably so, as you can tell they really spend time to perfect the cute designs. I just wish they worked on the filling a little bit more to have a product that's not only cute but tastes awesome, too. They also offer Asian dishes like braised beef noodles and pork chop, the aroma smells wonderful and something we will definitely be back to try. Based on the two issues (Squirtle flavour and Bulbasaur colour), I would rate this 3*, but overall experience was pleasant, so increasing to 4*.

What I got: - Kuromi Macaron (Salted Oreo) - Pikachu Macaron (Lemon) - Squirtle Macaron (Salted Caramel) - Bunny cake My Favs: - The bunny cake was super light and not too sweet. I don't remember exactly what flavor it was, perhaps apricot, but a great treat overall. - Lemon pikachu macaron was my favourite of the three as I love citrus flavors. This was super lemony but not too tart. Final thoughts: The macarons not only look amazing but tasted great too! I love a macaron that has a bit of chew to the shell which these do and each one was super flavorful. They are definitely on the pricer side, but the craftsmanship that goes into the designs and the strong flavors make this a 5 star for me. I'll be back to try some of their food menu and more of their desserts!

My understanding is that the hardest part of making a macaron is the cookie shell, and these are wonderful. The texture and flavor is just right. The lavender did not make me think of soap initially. The violet absolutely did. That's not a strike against them. Those notes are just so popular in soap, it's an automatic association. The same is true of rose, but it's so often used in drinks and foods that it's not as jarring. The problem I had with these macarons is the filling, and it's probably such an easy fix. It's just too sweet and somehow when combined with the floral flavors, I could swear I had the actual mouth feel of soap by the time I'd eaten all three, like a faint burning on my tongue. I'd definitely recommend the rose lychee, and maybe doing a mix of flavors instead of all floral or having just one at a time. Macarons are 50 cents than the other patisserie I tried (Nadege) during my trip, but still competitively priced.
