This place has good music playing and that is all I can say that's good about this place. First of all we were the only people in the place. Second we were all sweating, not just a shimmer kind of sweat, but full blown sweat like we had been working out, dripping from our faces. Clothes wet kind of sweating. There is ZERO air conditioning. I started believing they don't want anyone coming in to this establishment. And they have a 3 drink minimum to shoot pool. Needless to say we will not be back. I'm going to try to keep this as professional as possible. On June 28, 2025, I went to Tastebuds Live located 709 E loop 820 service road Ft. Worth for a birthday dinner. We sat down, ordered drinks, and got ready to eat. As I started to order food, the server told us we had to pay in advance. I've never experienced that at any sports bar or restaurant, but something told me this was going to be downhill from there. I ordered a 10-piece Cajun/Peach Bourbon wing and a Ranch Crack Burger. It took almost 45 minutes for my food to come out, and even longer for everyone else at the table. When my wings finally came, I decided to break one open, and it was pink inside. The cook came out, and I explained the issue. Instead of offering to make it right professionally, she told me it was "supposed to look like that" and acted like it was a problem that I didn't want to eat undercooked chicken. Eventually, they agreed to cook them longer, but when they came back, they were burned. On top of that, the Ranch Crack Burger had bacon on it, which isn't listed on the menu. I don't eat pork, so I asked if it could be taken off my ticket since, by that point, I had no confidence in the food or service. I was told I'd have to wait until Monday to have it refunded. At this point, I was over the entire experience. I asked the waitress, Savannah, if she could put something in writing so the manager would know I'd be following up about the refund. She got an attitude and scribbled her name on the back of the receipt with the word "refund." This visit confirmed why I usually pass by this place and never see anyone inside. They won't have to worry about me coming back. I wouldn't recommend Tastebuds Live if you care about good food, professionalism, or basic customer service. read more

There's a reason this place is always empty! Walked in; promptly seated as there wasn't another soul in sight. We asked to have the Saints/ Jaguars game put on. The waitress wasn't sure what channel it was on and got extremely irritated, trying to find the game. We ended up telling her to forget. So stopped by with my husband after a movie for lunch. First the Jimmy Blackberry Bourbon was so watered down I could barely taste the bourbon. My husband ordered a Mojito and got a Margarita. DO NOT get them please. I am sitting here nauseous and feeling unwell as some were black a land burned and some were partly raw(Edit currently in the hospital for possible shellfish poisoning). Catfish was excellent flavor and cooked with the right amount of crisp. The fried chicken very juicy. It was good. Loved the salad. Now cheesy grits were a little to cheesy but they went well with the catfish. The ambiance is sports bar feel. They have a lot of screens and cool decor. Also they have pool tables. read more

This is a fairly new restaurant/bar that has opened up on the east side of Fort Worth. My wife and I stopped in a couple of quick appetizers. This happened last spring. My friend and I went at 11am for an early lunch. They were gracious, seated us quickly, brought us our drinks right away and took our orders. The atmosphere is laid back. A place I could enjoy hanging out. Until....the SWAT team raided the place and me and my friend, two 60ish women, were escorted out!!! What can I say? Maybe we lucked out compared to others but my wife and I came here during happy hour on a Thursday and had a great experience. The waitstaff seemed somewhat inexperienced and a bit slow considering how few customers there were but were very friendly to make up for it. The fried pickles are the best I've ever had including my own. ‼BEWARE OF THEFT! ‼An employee by the name of Jazmin took my mom's debit card and racked up a total of $405.62. She took my mom's card to the back and took a picture of it and immediately started racking up charges. My mom filed a claim with the Bank of America and while on the phone with claims they told my mom someone by the name of "Jazmin" tried to add my mom's card to Apple Pay. Without that information we would have never had a name. The name and the spelling of the name matched the receipt my mom got from Jazmin at the restaurant. We tried contacting the manager by phone and they were conveniently "never there". When my mom finally got in contact with the manager "Tena Russell" & she threatened to report my mom to the police for harassment when all she was trying to do was let them know there was a theft. I believe they all might be in on it. We filed a report with the police as well and the entire restaurant will be held accountable. DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE TAKE YOUR CARD! read more

I see a lot of potential here. They've got the typical new business kinks to iron out, but once they're rolling full steam this could be a really great place. At the time we came in (2/1/19), they have yet to open the billiards room. Definitely want to come back when that's open and check it out! First impressions: the building is nice and VERY well lit. The staff we interacted with were all very friendly and attentive. Our waitress definitely seemed pretty green though- like it's her first waitressing job. She was really nice and has good personality for the position, but fairly ignorant of the particulars (i.e.: what beer they had, what cheese comes on which burger, how big the sides are). With some proper training and experience, she'll get a lot better. This is not a beer bar, I get that, but they only have the big 4 "piss beers" on tap. Not even Shiner Bock or Mexican imports. I found out later that they have 25+ bottles available, but only after I asked specifically. My guess is they blew all the money on lights and TVs and didn't have enough left over for beer/cocktail menus. This again goes back to the ill-trained waitress not offering up alternatives. We also found out later that they have house-specialty cocktails listed on their website. It's possible that we did not receive a cocktail menu because we asked specifically for a beer menu. I'm sure they'll get some printed up eventually either way. We did order some traditional cocktails and they were prepared correctly, but nothing special to set them apart. OKAY! Enough criticism! The food... Holy crap, the food... My wife ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and said it was the BEST one she's ever had! I had the Jalapeño Sriracha burger and it was amazing as well! Our friends said we should come back if only for the PCS. And really good prices on this stuff too! You can easily eat well for under $10 here. We will definitely return and might even make this a regular hangout spot when we have friends over. Went to the Hurst location. I was 1 of 5 or 6 people in the whole restaurant. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes before someone took my drink order, I was never offered a menu so I had to google the menu and it took 45 minutes for my food to come out. Bacon cheese fries were drowned in ballpark nacho cheese and zero bacon. I love bar food but this was disgusting - especially for $11, what a joke. Ordered hot wings for my meal. Flavor was ok but the wings were very soft and the blue cheese was absolutely terrible. I don't believe this was a bad experience - it's just absolutely terrible food. Brand new place. Very nice on the inside. Very clean. Tons of tvs to watch a game. Nice outside patio area and nice bar with great drinks to choose from. We came on a Sunday at around 1:30. Ordered two burgers and some cheese fries. Fries came out first and were ok. The bacon is real and amazingly crispy. The cheese not so much...it is nacho cheese sauce which is disappointing. Burgers took FOREVER to come out. They were very tasty but nothing crazy special. If you are wanting a good cheap burger then this is a good place. Waitstaff is new and seemed like they are still being trained. Our waiter asked us every time if we wanted a refill on our drink instead of just bringing us one. We also had to ask for some things without it being offered to us. I think this place could be great with a bit more training in customer service. read more

Not impressed at all. I drive by this place everyday heading to work and have watched since they were remodeling the building till now. Here is why they only got one star: 1. Food was bland. Nothing you can't get at any place similar. 2. We were the only customers in the place and they still had to come and ask what it was we ordered after about 15 minutes of no contact. 3. You were required to pay for your dinner after you ordered. I understand all this Covid stuff has changed the way places do things, but this makes no sense. 4. No refills on drinks, but still charge the same they did before Covid with refills. 5. All three employees that I saw working only wore their masks when taking our order and bringing us our food. We only had interaction with the server 4 times. Once to seat us, the next to take our order and then pay, once to ask again what we ordered, and lastly to bring our food. They have a beach vibe which I really like, with a pool and deck, live music on the weekends, and a lot of tvs. Parking is a little tight, but can be expected for location. The major downfall is one bathroom.....ONE SHARED bathroom! Not conducive for the party vibe they are trying to achieve, a big deterrent for my spending much time there. read more

Inexperienced staff, meaning they are unaware the difference between white and red wine. Ordered the Joel Gott Sauvignon Blanc (White) brought Sutter Home Cabernet (red). Also ordered a Guinness and it was flat, so bad that it was nasty tasting. When I brought it to the attention to the staff there was no reaction. Hence inexperienced, selected another beer and then the correct wine arrived. Ordered the Nachos Overload, noting mentioned about jalapeños being all over on the menu but arrived that way. I checked this place out for the first time on a Saturday night. From the name I thought it would be the average pub and Grill spot where I can order a delicious dish to go. It's more of a club atmosphere from what I see, music playing, boxing match on large screen TVs. 30 and under crowd with casual dress code. A fun spot to hang out if you're into that kind of thing. it was hard for the hostess to hear my order over the loud music but I was able to get my nachos in about 15 minutes. However she brought it out on a plate. I told her I wanted it to go and she easily switched it out for a carryout box. She said they don't get many to-go orders. The nachos were pretty decent, but pricey . A nice amount of meat to chips. Not real crazy about the cheese sauce. But the shredded cheese was good. Also fresh guac on the side. Very difficult to find parking on a Saturday night. There is a sign at the second entrance indicating parking in the field. But since the service road is one way most people come into the first entrance they see and it's not clear that there is additional parking until you are ready to leave, then you have to go all the way back around the freeway and back down the service road to get in. I just ended up parking on the sidewalk / the grass at the entrance. It's dark over by the field and even if I had saw the sign I probably wouldn't have parked over there. I also didn't see a bar to sit at. If the music was not as loud and there was a bar to sit and relax while waiting for food I might choose this as one of my go-to spots for a quick bite. I'm comparing this to No Frills Grill, which is my default for bar food take-out. read more

Where do I start?! First, the drinks super watered down, ordered a mojito ( tasted like carbonated mint water) & Jim bean peach tea ( tasted like unsweetened tea, no jim bean or peach was in at all). The lobster should've been pulled out of the tail shell and laid on the top of the shell but instead it was cook and cut down the middle. I had to scuffle and pull it out of shell.
