Yesterday was my first visit to this cute spot! It's clean, upbeat, colorful & has a huge menu. Lots of choices especially with this hot weather we have right now. They even feature their "Best Sellers" list so it can help you make your choice. Jarrell helped me & he was so wonderful! Very knowledgeable & helped me make my choice of milk tea. He was friendly with my baby & other customers walking in after me. Today I came back a second time because I had such a great experience yesterday. Today I tried the honeydew melon with fruit jellies. Emily was helping me & she was JUST AS FANTASTIC! Whoever is doing the hiring here is doing a wonderful job. Emily and Jarrell both had upbeat personalities & they made the difference. Boba places are everywhere but the great product & great employees here at Tastea set them apart from the rest. I must say, for us girls who don't get to try such extravagant treats often, this was worth the drive. We heard this place opened a week ago and based on all the 5 star reviews we couldn't help but try it. Behold, they were right! this place tickles our fancy. Drink sizes were perfect, not all boba places have such large options but were now grateful that we know somewhere with a jug option. For only $29.95! Our drink includes peach and strawberry bits which were diced ever so divinely. I did not know that this location was open since summer 2019! Located on La Sierra ave in the same plaza as El Pollo Loco and 99 cents store. I ordered the Jasmine Milk tea with honey boba and the Tastea Shrimp level 5 (the hottest), both were delicious ! The jasmine milk tea was not too sweet, just how I like it. The serving of the shrimp were not mini shrimp, but were large, full size and freshly cooked, such a game changer from the popcorn chicken that I usually get (they do not skimp their portion size). Although the location is somewhat hidden, unless you drive into the plaza (I live nearby so I always go to the 99 Cents store and El Pollo Loco) I had a much better first experience than I did when I ordered a drink from Sharetea which is not too far away. My suggestion for the owner, probably add more signage (e.g. flags, signs) to let people know that Tastea is there. Thanks for the great customer service! I love Tastea and happy to see it finally open up in Riverside. Same excellent quality of service and tea as their Chino Hills location. This location is more spacious for customers. The seasonal Watermelon Heaven is refreshing. I also ordered The Great White without ice so I can enjoy it tomorrow. Tastea is one of the best boba places in Riverside! Their boba is always light and sweet. This place is known for its fruity drinks and the extra toppings that they provide- but, the milk teas and blended drinks are pretty awesome also. The coffee options are a little strong, however you have the option to make your drinks more or less sweet, less ice, etc. Definitely recommend coming to this spot, as opposed to the other bobas places in the area. read more

Ordered a large karate chicken that states $8.50 on their in-store menu. I was charged $10.25, and notified the employee but she stated it was tax added that made it that price. How much is tax? Riverside tax is 0.875, so it should come out to $9.24 with taxes. I checked their online menu and it is marked as $10.25. They should have at least honored the pricing that they have in store rather than playing it like it was with tax added, nice try. Change the pricing on the in store menu so you don't have a mix up like this again with future customers, or honor the pricing you have posted. read more

Went today at noon. The supervisor (i forgot her name) who took our order is not very helpful and not friendly at all. Every time I ask something she seems to get annoyed. Being the supervisor, she is not a giving a good customer service example to other employees. This is my third time here. Their boba has a good texture every time. But so far I don't like their plain teas. The green tea I ordered when I went the second time is so bitter even at full sweetness. White tea is just ok. This was my first time at this Tastea location. I usually go to the one in rowland heights which is why i wanted to try this one. I got the avocado avalanche with boba and the boba was really good and so was the avocado smoothie. However, when my boyfriend was drinking it he found a little plastic piece that he picked out of his mouth. It seemed like it was part of the blender or something cause it was a hard plastic piece. Another thing was that i called ahead to see if they're open and the girl told me that they're only doing take out orders... so i got there and another girl told me i had to order on the website or on their app. She could've clarified with me i had to do a mobile order BEFORE i came... but that's fine because they were pretty quick at making my drink. Just wish that plastic piece wasn't in my smoothie! I finished drinking half of it when my boyfriend took it out of his mouth. Got really paranoid drinking the smoothie after. Have never been to this location before but we were in the area and they happened to be having one of their specials so why not? Always have time for some yummy Tastea. The plan to be in and out in 5-10 mins with a one drink order didn't go as planned. So strange to me why some people have a hard time admitting when they just don't know or understand something. At least ask someone else on staff to make sure or help you understand. All in all, yes, the drink was average and not bad, yes there was little to no wait, but when we gave our "rewards number" for points as well as for a free surprise ticket, the cashier did not know what we were talking about. She started talking about using our existing points toward the drink and while we started to explain that they are currently offering Rewards Members a Mystery ticket to use toward your next purchase, she doesn't know what to do and then says you need to be a Rewards Member to get it.... ummm... you just entered my number and said we had enough points for a free drink, so yes. I am a member. After a minute of pressing random buttons another staff member asks if she needs help and she declines. She starts over and says that she needs to actually see the app on my phone to see it. Really?! Don't see that anywhere - even on the fine print that says just tell the cashier your Rewards Number to get your ticket. Was not about to go back to the car to grab my phone for this. I've never had to bring my phone in to scan or show, just always give my number and we are good to go. I did see that I got points for the drink so she did enter my number to see if it was legit. Decided to try this place out after years of going to the Rowland Heights location. Super disappointed. Ordered two tiger milk teas and it looked nothing like the advertised picture. I don't know if the workers were just being lazy but all the brown sugar drizzle was on the bottom, not to mention, the drink itself tasted like straight up water. And I picked up the order in no more than 5 minutes so how does it get watered down THAT much.
