Went around 9pm and ordered 3 drinks. The problem was the girl in green? Blue shirt making the drink. She had a slight attitude and was short-ended with me. While ordering she kept cutting me off and hurrying me up because I didn't know what size and how sweet I wanted the drink. I know that sometimes it's annoying but if you want to deliver customer service you didn't have to be impatient with me. The only nice person was the other girl who handed us our drinks. Favorite tea spot in Riverside is Tastea! My regular drink is a Strawberry Bonanza with boba. I love the green boba, this is the only place with green ones. They use fresh ingredients and the boba is always the right consistency. They're really nice and polite. Both this place and Chino Hills location are my favorite Tastea locations. It's a very little location that's hidden and parking is a bit weied but nonetheless me and my little brother visited. The place didn't have a nice smell on the inside I couldn't figure out what it was but it wasn't pleasant. The girl who assisted us was super super nice. Amazing customer service! The drinks were great as well. We got honeydew milk tea and classic milk tea. Both were delicious. I think my only problem was after paying extra for the boba she was a bit skimpy on it. I didn't like that. I come to a boba place for a reason? I haven't encountered that problem with any other tastea location so idk it must've just been this once. Yay, Tastea is nearby! I love the customer service here, everyone is always friendly and happy and quick to serve and please. Kitchen for last call is at 11, so plan accordingly! Hmm, but I'm not sure if I just came at off days but I thought this location closes at midnight but sometimes when I did come, they seemed to close earlier (like around 11 or even 10:30ish). Not exactly sure what happened but it happened like three times and nothing makes me sad and disappointed than driving just for Tastea and it's foodies just for it to be closed :( rip Nonetheless their food & drinks are great! Every time I go to Tastea it's amazing. The workers are very kind and accommodating. What I happen to find amazing is the Karate chicken, especially when it's spicy. It comes with sticks and some basil on top which adds to the aroma of the chicken, best served with sweet and sour sauce as well. The drinks are great as well. I recommend this place if your looking for fast food and if your craving some yummy tasting chicken. Beware at night it could be packed but it's definitely worth the wait! read more

Walked in and right away greeted by staff. Place is super clean with a really cool atmosphere! Ordered 6 drinks, 2 orders of shrimp and 1 order of karate chicken. The amount of stuff we ordered and the time it took to get it was amazingly fast and workers were very helpful and friendly. I am in love with the fried shrimp and chicken! I brought it to share with the family and they too were in love with the crunch and the spicy snacks. Drinks were also a hit!! Got the all nighter coffee, Taro boba, watermelon, and strawberry banana we all tasted each other's drinks and agreed they were all delicious. I will definitely go back! Great place! Thank god Tastea is finally open in Riverside! Now I won't have to drive to Garden Grove whenever I crave for some Ooh La La. It is one of my favorite drinks along with the matcha milk tea and matcha coffee. It may be overpriced a bit for boba but the portions are huge and worth it. I didn't went to the grand opening because I had work but I went on a Saturday night and service was excellent. Plus, I just recently found out they have an award program with an app at the App Store so I'll definitely check it out. read more

Today was grand opening so of course it was going to be packed, but the service was outstanding. We got our drinks fast and it was super delicious. One downside was when the workers tried calling each customer's name through the mic and nobody could hear a thing, it was like they were whispering names so they finally used their voices. First time here. I got the Matcha Thai Tea. It was not very good and pretty watered down. The creamy-ness you expect from a thai milk tea or a matcha latte does not exist with this drink. It's like they mixed powder and water. read more

I love boba so when a new boba place opens up in Riverside you can count on me to be there haha. I tried the taro milk tea with 50% sweetness and honey boba while my friend got the Thai tea blended with 50% sweetness and honey boba. Originally they had messed up my order and they blended the drink so we had to go back to get it fixed but the good thing was that they were able to get the drinks out fast, we didn't have to wait long at all. The drinks were okay, the taro milk tea just tasted really milky, it didn't have that distinct taro flavor that I was looking for. The honey boba was soft tho, not hard and chewy. The flavor of the drinks didn't really wow us, it was all just okay. I'm not sure if I'd come back here, but I'd have to try something else and make up my mind about this place. The inside is really cute, only thing was that they were playing the music too loud and you couldn't hear when they were calling names to pick up orders. Great place for a Thai Milk Tea. I tried the Matcha and my hubby got the original and they were both delicious. Julie and Rudy made our drinks and they were both super friendly and quick. Omg!! So this boba spot is top in this area of riverside. Taro milk tea with coconut jelly... from the first time I ordered it, and every other time after, never gone wrong. The first time I came here, staff was nice, super helpful, luckily there was no line to hold up. Atmosphere is chill, and clean, and they close late. I normally order from this tastea location with no problem but today's order was not so great. In one of the drinks I ordered, we discovered this tough silver like string at the bottom of drink. It resembles similarly to an aluminum like lining? I'm sure this was by accidental mistake but still is not hygienic or safe at whatsoever. I normally LOVE tastea. BUT today I encountered an employee that made me NEVER want to go back EVER AGAIN! Her name was BRITNEY! (Asian girl with long blonde hair) 1st- there were many health code violations within my 2 minute encounter with her. Her hair was not pulled back and out of the way like it needs to be according to the health code which she touched along with the register and didn't wash her hands before going back to making drinks. . Her nails were done and she was not wearing gloves. The store was not set up as if they were not open. Teas were not set up. She asked me to put on a mask, but couldn't provide one since I didn't have 1. She stated it was store policy, but I think there's a bigger problem than their store about masks that they need to address with her. If she wants to point out store policies she would need to follow ALL of the policies not just the 1. Which is another health code violation because PPE is suppose to be provided upon request or PPE stations are suppose to be available. She told me that I could order online BUT what is the difference between ordering online walking in without a mask and ordering with contactless payment and walking in without a mask to get my drink? I hope someone contacts me from the franchise before the health department gets contacted. read more

I didn't even know about this place until tonight. My boyfriend and I were skating at the nearby rink and were craving some boba afterward, and we were led to this place! Though we arrived about 20 minutes before closing (which I always feel very bad about), staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Excellent selection on the menu, and delicious drinks! I usually get Thai milk tea wherever I go, and of all the Thai teas I've had, this one might actually be my favorite! I don't know what exactly it is about the flavor that makes it different from all the others, but I'm in love with it. I loved the boba, but the karate chicken tasted like deer ankles no cap I been to this location plenty of times for the boba and my favorite drink is the pumpkin spice milk tea and honey boba and it's so good.
