I normally dont like to leave reviews but I feel it's needed for this place. Usually new places it takes a while for the employees to get a feel for how service should be and I expected the usual slow speed of things but I was really blown away bout how quick everything came out and how good things tasted. I went in for a smoothie and litterally finished it before going home that I had to come back to try a milk tea. Now at most tea places I get a taro but really skeptical about how good it will taste seeing that most often than not it comes out really milky but this place by far was friggin amazing. I have been a loyal customer to this location since I learned about them from one of my friends. What I liked is that they also serve popcorn chicken and other snacks. There are certain drinks in Tastea that I prefer but my husband prefer some drinks from Sharetea. I haven't had much complaint until tonight. I was particularly craving for Kypteanite. My youngest daughter likes this drink too. So we both ordered the same drink with regular boba but with different sweetness. I usually take the lite sweetness but my daughter goes for either full or medium sweetness. I was observing the two girls preparing the drinks. I was particularly interested in how they would prepare our Krypteanite drinks. I noticed that they prepared more than the normal amount for one drink. In my head I'm thinking, did they double the amount for both of our drinks? One lady filled one 20oz cup and proceeded to dump the rest that was on the blender. I was kind of relieved at that moment. But midway the process, the lady asked the other associate if that amount left on the blender would be enough for the other drink. The lady then salvaged the would be dumped amount, added a couple ingredients in the blender and began to "recycle" the drink. How in the world did she know how much to put in to not affect the quality of the drink? Do these drinks have any type of measurements to maintain quality and consistency of the drinks? And how do they determine what is lite sweetness and medium sweetness by just eyeballing the amount of ingredients...makes me now realize why sometimes the drinks tastes more like ice or why the taste vary from prep to prep. Not too thrilled about this observation tonight. I will be thinking twice going back to this place again. read more

Love their drinks! Last time I got the Peach me sweet tea and it was great. It goes on the sweeter side so I'll be asking for less sugar the next time. You get a couple options for boba but I recommend the honey boba! Good quality and perfect sweetness. If you're having trouble choosing a drink, the top 10 menu will not fail you. I have been to other tastea locations and this one is the worst by far. I never write reviews, but I felt like this place NEEDED to hear what I'm about to write. The staff is too comfortable at this workplace. All of the staff was in the back when I walked in, I waited around 4-6 minutes to be helped. Within those 4-6 minutes, it sounded like workers were messing around, laughing loud in the back. When I was finally helped, Ashley at the register had an attitude that was discouraging and a mood changer for me. This was frustrating for me because this business wasn't busy at all during the time my family and I came in, but I was looked at as if I was an inconvenience. I love this place! All of the drinks are super yummy and you can adjust the sweetness. It doesn't taste like syrup or artificial sweeteners, just like fresh whole fruit. They are also very fast and efficient. The young woman who I've met is very kind and sweet every time. Will be a new regular here. Very refreshing with this heat. read more

I like this place but I drove 30 minutes to grab a boba drink and when I arrived at 9:40pm the manager stated that they stopped taking orders at 9:30pm but the place closes at 10pm. I'm disappointed that they were still open and could not take orders even though they close at 10pm read more

Today was my first time having Tastea and all I have to say is that it is my new favorite spot. I wasn't aware that we needed to order online but I was greeted by Ashley and she was very kind and explained that it was online only. Although it was a bit busy we still received our drinks so quickly. I ordered the Thai milk tea with honey boba and my girlfriend got the yummy gummy with regular boba and they were both so good! I came here for the first time a couple weeks ago and got the shrimp app and peach / lychee iced tea! The shrimp was flavorful and lightly spicy (got the second tier spice) and came with ranch. The drink was perfectly sweetened and had real lychee in it (!) but the best part was the customer service. Both employees made me feel like a regular, helping me out and joking with me. read more

I have to say, their tea seems not as strong compared to the Sharetea down the street. It wasn't bad tasting, but it didn't stand out to me either. By far one of my favorite places to go in Riverside! I always get the Strawberry Sensation. It's so good by itself I don't even add boba! Can't wait to go back :) The ambiance and location is perfect. It is also such a fun place to hang out. They have a lot of tables inside so it's easy to come with a group as well. My order was taken wrong and was not placed to go, however they put it in a bag as if it was. Thank God I stayed to eat there to notice that my order of shrimp was not in the bag. The girl who brought my food once I let them know I was not given my shrimp did not apologize or even act as if there was an issue. My tea had chunks of powder in it and I noticed when people left they would say "bye or have a nice day but when myself and my two children left they said absolutely nothing."
