I pulled over in the first parking lot I could find and opened Yelp to help me find something. I'm telling you all of this because I ended up walking into Le Drip and ordering the "Egg Coffee", knowing nothing about it. Now, I've been on this earth for a minute and I've drank a lot of coffee. This is among the best coffee drinks I've ever had. Certainly the best I've had in recent memory. What I'm saying is it's in the running for the best coffee drink I've ever had. The egg cream is thick and eggy, which I loved. The coffee itself is bold with a strong coffee taste. The cream is dusted with a heavy shake of cinnamon and it all melded together into a delicious concoction that I couldn't get enough of. If you're looking for a memorable coffee drink, I would recommend giving this spot a shot. Tell 'em Big D sent you.

Instead, the drink was overwhelmingly sweet from start to finish. I was also excited to try the new Lychee Jasmine Matcha since it sounded phenomenal, but it ended up being my least favorite. The lychee flavor completely overpowered matcha, making it hard to enjoy the drink. Overall, it was a good try but it wasn't cup of coffee.

Time to Order: 7 Minutes with no line Partea's is an unassuming boba shop tucked away into a back corner of Dun Huang Plaza. I walked over after parking nearby. Inside, it's actually quite modern. There are photo booths (for a fee) and some tables. Only one person was working when I was there. I ordered a white peach oolong tea with 30% sugar, less ice, with boba. If I didn't know any better, I would swear that they are using a syrup or flavored sweetener. This was one of the most intense peach flavored oolong teas I've ever had. I let my friends taste and they all agreed. I sampled their Vietnamese coffee as well, which is quite a generous serving for the price, and very roasty. I will definitely be back and I hope they get more business to stay open!

The Partea is incomparable here, although it doesn't go all night - quite the opposite - because this tea is fresh brewed each time you order it. What could be better? Literally, they brew fresh tea for each tea drink you order. What to get: Ceylon Milk Tea, Hojicha Milk Tea What else: Everything here is excellent Located where Presotea used to be, and every bit as delicious and delightful, is one of Houston's very best boba shops. When it comes to little independent Boba shops (not part of a chain), this may be the best in Texas, or right up there. This might be the best Milk Tea in Houston. We miss Prestotea very badly, but we're glad that it has continued the tradition of making fresh tea every time you order it, and tastes just as good as ever. Partea may, in fact, have some of the best Milk Teas you'll ever taste. Easily the best little family owned independent Taiwan-style Boba shop in town, along with TeaFix, and one which you should come and give your business to on a regular basis. All their products are very good but I definitely recommend the milk teas especially. They can sometimes close a little bit earlier than posted, and their hours are pretty limited, but overall they're just a fantastic place to come and get drinks, as well as being comfy, clean, bright, cute, and usually having plenty of parking nearby. We're thrilled to have them in Houston to go with the amazing collection of other Boba shops that we are spoiled with in these parts. It's definitely one of my top 5 favourites that I've been to in this Boba-rich area, and we will be regular customers, especially for the delicious Ceylon milk tea which has one of the nicest, subtlest, and not too sweet flavors of any milk tea I've had. It's a little bit hidden away next to the Hilton Garden Inn right beside Gerry's Grill, but it makes it easy to access from the Sam Houston Parkway if you're heading north and hopefully people will flock over here and enjoy it as much as we do. The people who run the Hilton run this too. Of course, it was also amazing when it was called Preso, so here's my rhyme dedicated to the long lost Presotea and Mike, who used to run it.
