The end products are striking and modern, but the pieces still retain the quirks that made them an impressive find to begin with. The prices for painted, contemporary furniture are reasonable, but don't expect the pieces to be cheap. The labor put into them is intense. That said any of her pieces would brighten a home and with their finish are safe for use. Putting a drink on a table, for example, would not leave a mark. I highly recommend the shop for anyone looking for that extraordinary piece to complement their home. The work is even divided into two sections: home and studio depending on price and the piece. Her blog features all the work and she's also active on both instagram (having over 1000 followers) and Facebook. Open everyday she posts her schedule online daily, but can also be contacted for appointment. I recommend this store to furniture and interior decorating enthusiasts!

I was at Legacy Place this week and decided to check out this new furniture store, just to see what…read moreit was like and browse some new chairs and sofas. I was really impressed with the level of customer service! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Kara-Beth, who explained the store and the concept to me. It is owned by the same company that owns Wayfair and all the furniture in the store can be delivered to you in a matter of days. Some selections arrive as whole pieces, some are self assembly a la IKEA and you can also request a service that they have in partnership with Angie's (formerly Angie's List) where you can request assembly at the time of delivery. They have a nice selection of mostly mid-century looking and some more modern pieces including a lot of chairs and a few sofas. The pieces are definitely a step up from IKEA in appearance, but not as nice as West Elm, IMO. Most of the chairs I was eyeing are in the $300-$400 range and they had a sale going at the time I visited where there was an extra 15% off. What really impressed me more than the furniture was the thoughtful and personalized service. When I explained where I was looking to set up the chairs I was considering, Kara-Beth explained that it might be wise to consider swivel chairs so that people sitting side by side could orientate to themselves to face each other more comfortably during conversations. I never would have thought to consider it! What a great suggestion. I will definitely consider this store for future furniture purchases and it's so nice to know they can deliver quickly as we had to wait quite a long time to get a sofa from West Elm during peak COVID times.

You can find furniture, books, kitchenware, music (variety of vinyl), clothing, and all sorts of antiques. You could definitely spend hours here, as the place is quite large. Most of the businesses are on the first floor, while there are other businesses (like photography and music recording rooms) on upper floors. There's also a music lounge, though I haven't been. And hey, if you can't find anything here, or if you have kids that are fussy, there's Hometown Arcade for old school (and some newer) arcade and video games. (Not really public transportation friendly, though there's a commuter rail station about a 20 minute walk away)

I've been to this HomeSense location a few times, and overall, I've had a great experience. The…read morestore is clean, well organized, and the staff is great. The location is also very convenient, as it's in a large plaza with several other great stores nearby. My only real criticism is the clearance section. It seems fairly limited at this particular location, especially compared with other HomeSense locations I've visited where the clearance sections are much larger. I also feel that some of the clearance pricing here is still higher than I would expect. For example, I saw a large rug originally priced at $600 that had a significant hole in it--large enough that it looked like two sizable pieces were missing. It was marked down to $400, which, in my personal opinion, still seemed quite high for a rug with that substantial of a defect. Overall, I really like this HomeSense and will continue to shop here. I just wish there were more clearance items and that the markdowns reflected the condition of heavily damaged merchandise a little more.

I've bought several items, both big and small, and I am very happy with my finds. On the previous reviews I read - the one review with the baby carriage is simply BIZARRE. If one is walking around with a baby carriage covered with a blanket and a store employee can't see what or who (or even if anything or anyone is in there), then it is a valid question to ask about your baby. Also, it is bizarre that someone would walk around in this consignment shop with a stroller anyway. Lady, get a babysitter. Also, get a thicker skin.
