I bought bathroom rugs from what I thought was bed,bath and beyond but come to find out it was from something called a "marketplace" which does not allow returns through the b,b,b. loyalty program. paid 50 for rugs and return would be 50. Totally misrepresented the store. read more

Bed Bath & Beyond has always been my family's one stop shop for all our household needs. The stores carry all the good quality brands that people have come to love such as Oxo for kitchen tools, Zwilling JA Henckels for knives, and many more from your bathroom to bedroom. They also have the typical area where you can set up a wedding registry near the entrance. Also near the entrance are most of their clearance items with more scattered throughout the store. As always, remember to use the coupons! Coupons may be used even if they have past their expiration date! It's not much different from other BB&B, but this location has tremendous service. A few of their associates took the time to help choose a rug and take it out of the rack it was standing on (which was a pain). This location also generally has everything in stock. It's clean like most BB&B spots too, so expect a good experience there. The abundance of parking is an added plus. read more

They recently (October 2018) did a remodel of the store. The register checkout layout is a bit confusing, sort of a large maze to get to the registers, which if there is not a long line it's hard to find where to enter and how to get in. I love BBB and they've seemed to expand upon their HomeGoods TJ Maxx roots with the remodel with a lot of items you won't find on the website and possibly not at other stores so keep that in mind, a positive and negative. The major issues I've had with this location over the last few years is that a lot of items are frequently out of stock. Common items that you would think they would have quite a few of; from mdesign and interdesign pantry and fridge bins to simplehuman and oxo dish strainers. Another major issue is the cleanliness of the store, if the review was based on this I would give them 2 stars. The items are always covered in dust (this was going on prior to the remodel, so no benefit of the doubt here). I really think they should invest in hiring a night crew to come in once a week and clean/dust the items. There is nothing worse than picking up something you plan to put food on or cook with and having it covered in dust bunnies :O Lastly and by far the biggest issue with this location is the employees. First, you can never find anyone to help you on the floor, like literally never. And if you happen to catch someone, getting their attention is extremely difficult. Most places employees are borderline harassing to help you, but I would rather have that than no help in sight. But worse than that is the rudeness at the registers, more so the service desk area. I've never had a pleasant or positive interaction at that checkout area, EVER! I've gone out of my way multiple times to try and get a smile out of the employees and I don't think they are capable. Also if you happen to be there close to closing time watch out! You'd think that they would be in a better mood that's it's closing if it's the job that is making them so unhappy. I love BBB and would rate the company as a whole with 4 stars, I would appreciate more sales and incentives like points systems and insider cashback and different coupons as once you are a beyond member you can't access much besides a $25 off a $100 purchase once or twice a year that expires before you can use it. This store however is a generous 2, if it wasn't for the cleanliness and employee's negative energy it would be a solid 4. Just sharing my truth here. read more

My experience to the Braintree location yesterday was ok. Better than this store has been in the past, yet returns are still an issue and the store is still not up to my standards. First issues, the staff are consistently hit or miss. Most of the employees on the floor (I saw four), were chatting about things together, nothing about Bed, Bath & Beyond, I heard something about the Patriots (you're working not at a sports game, get with the program!), and they had no interest what-so-ever in helping me get a product I wanted. Actually, I was looking for real wax battery operated candles, that had a remote. I saw them in a BB&B flyer and stopped in (after going to the terrible Kmart next door), as I was in the area (otherwise I would have visited the location of my choice). Plus, I had a 20% off coupon. Once I saw another employee roaming throughout the store, who looked friendly, so I asked her about the item. She was very friendly and happy, which was a nice gesture in comparison to the others (ugh!). She said a woman just asked her about the same items, and she showed here to the last boxes. She said there were some in storage, so she got up on a ladder and got a bunch (thank god there were some left), and everything was happy-go-lucky again. Anyway, back to the actual staff, and that the ones at checkout are also fine, but the returns people are NOT ideal for a BB&B (I always think of BB&B being at a higher step than most other chain retail establishments), and don't take back nearly as many returns as they are supposed to, so from now on I'll bring my returns to the Dedham location. Next, the actual store. The store has all the normal departments, as well as an under-average Health & Beauty section (the Framingham BB&B has a much larger Health & Beauty section, as well as a World Market). The individual sections of the store flow very well to the next, and they seem more together than other locations, yet the main walkways are impossible to get through with carriages, and are very narrow anyway, unlike many of the other BB&B locations, which are nearly all larger, and more open in general. Overall, this store is a 3. Other BB&B are out there and definitely better to shop. 3 stars. read more

I can get lost in here for hours, I love looking at everything in here. They have a huge Health & Beauty section here, which they do not have in any other BB&B. I love how this store is clean, stocked & everyone is so helpful, maybe they see my shopping cart is so full & they want me to spend more money. I always get coupons from them in the mail or I find them in magazines, the best part is they will always take them even if they are expired. So I usually have like 10 on hand when I check out. If they are ever out of stock of an item, they will find it on line for you & have it shipped to you for free. Love that! read more

You would never think to come here for everyday essential and beauty products (shampoo, conditioner, makeup, nail polish, soap, etc etc etc) But they have such a great selection of different brands! The store is clean and prices for shampoo and conditioner are even cheaper than Walmart. Plus BB&B usually sends out coupon for extra savings. read more

I shop hear all the time for my home, kitchen, and personal items. I said personal items because they have a Harmon Discount Beauty Supply in the store. I guess its a big CT, NY, and NJ chain. They offer great prices on all personal care items. The home and kitchen items are priced right and always well stocked. The store is always neatly organized. I agree with the positive coments here; the spaciousness, the coupons, the variety... everything is very clean, organized, and welcoming in this store. However, their bridal registry person, Chris, was the reason for this review. My fiance and I walked in randomly without having a clue about the registering process. He walked us through the simple paperwork (two pieces MAYBE), and then we got down to shopping. He was so informative, and helpful. He gave us suggestions, worked hard to make things easier on us, validated my worries when I thought I was going overboard or being too cheap. He spend the entire 2.5 hours with us, being helpful, funny, and real the entire time! He often radioed to another employee to tell them to update something on our registry that the gun wasn't able to do. He did all of this with a smile on his face. While this sort of service may be expected by some, the reality is, unless the person is making money off of the buyer, customer service isn't usually this good. I understand people in fact will be buying from there for our registry, but we walked out without spending a time, and being treated so kindly by Chris. I'd recommend people go see him. read more

As much as I am a fan of Bed Bath and Beyond, I had gone there a few months ago and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I had purchased a ton of stuff from bb&b. One evening I was there, about 45min-and hr before they closed and had plenty of items in my cart. Time went by and then we were finished, and as we were checking out, a rude employee (Assuming manager) was telling customers "lets go lets go, we close in 10 mins get your stuff and go" like what the heck, Ive worked in retail for 10 years and believe me, at the end of the day I want to leave too, but I would never tell a customer to get out, I work in a clothing store, and I always have to stay (usually 30min-1hr after close) because customers dont read the sign with our hours, but I would never be rude. read more
