Worst store ever ... no courtesy service, everyone has no respect and attitudes AND they decide to close the self checkout and the lines are long !!! Ridiculous really what is the manager doing about all the people waiting for 15 - 20 min. read more

This target has wonderful customer service in general. Found out today that if you don't have a receipt, you can still do the return of you have the card you purchased with. Joel helped me with my return even though I didn't have my receipt. Luckily I had the card which made it easier even though I had a lot of stuff. I was all over the place, he was so patient. Grateful for the help! read more

This target is average size with a market and Starbucks inside. The good news is there's a chase ATM inside and the shelves are mostly stoked. They also have a good card selection with cards that don't just say "Happy Birthday Honey" or "Hope you have a nice day". The bad news is there are few workers to be found when you need help with something and their pricing on some items is atrocious. I give this target 3 stars because the one that opened near my house is way bigger and has a bigger selection of items. read more

Target - That's cheating ladies - Department Stores Near Me - West Covina, California

So I was here on 06/04/22 I got there's 30 mins to closing. Hear me out I have a good reason... so I needed some items for cleaning and I have been sleeping all day due to my pregnancy symptoms being so bad but I said I desperately need to go to target. I went in for cleaning supplies and some items for a pregnancy reveal. My last pregnant ended in a miscarriage so this is a big deal for my husband and I. The lines are long Bc everyone is checking out and I go to this target all the time I even worked there for a couple of months so I know my way around this specific store. I went in and grabbed the last of my things. Then I had an employee say to me " you know we are closing in 5 mins right?" And I am like is that how you speak to customers?? I get you want to go home but watch your tone. He also told me "if I'm not paying for my items I won't be able to purchase anything". Hmm, I told him there's a line and I know they are closing the lights were turned down so it's obvious and he needs to be more polite about how he speaks to people. Anyway, I find a semi empty line and am proceeding to check my bank account and open up my target app and the cashier says to me " you can load your stuff now" I said yes one second and she says "we are about to CLOSE and I said I know I had an employee tell me this already. As I tell her I'm checking my phone I said "one moment" and again she said we are closing. So clearly this woman has no manners and probably hates her job. She saw that my cart was full and probably didn't want to help me. She was on register number 2 unfortunately I didn't get her name. However, every times she works and I go to her lane she has to most horrible manners and etiquette with me and she's not friendly and I've seen her be friendly to others. I'm not saying she picks on me but my son that is always with me has adhd and is always all over the place and she is simply rude. All I know is that she is an older lady, with glasses and a bad bang job. My point is why work somewhere you hate and treat people this way? I decided to go to another lane and ask for management and I can head the woman talking about me to another customer laughing at what just had happened. So I said "I can clearly hear you and none of this is effing funny" it is incredibly unprofessional and disgusting. As a manager came to speak to me I told her what happened and she said "I'm not her manager but I will let her manager know." This is not ok Bc I went in with such a great mood and grabbed everything rather quickly. I know I could've acted differently but this is not ok as a customer. I go to this specific target 2-3X a week and you know what this target needs to teach their employees how to talk to people and be respectful with their tone and approach. I left empty handed but I will be finding out that woman's name and reporting her Bc to laugh at me is not ok!!!!!!!! She is in the wrong field Bc as a customer service rep she does no wonders for this store. read more

AVOID going to this store !!!! Go to a different location. I recently went to this store in particular to purchase a couple of things for the house. I was walking down isle of the toys when i came across a section specifically designed for marvel movies. They had put all of the older mcu movies with a red tag infront it saying that they were on sale for $19.99, i was really happy and purchased at least 5-6 movies. I trusted that the sale saying that it was a marvel sale i Figured all of the movies there were on sale. To my surprise when i get to the front, i am surprised with a couple of the movies not being on special to which i show the lady a picture of the set up and she says she needs to call the back department. While she has me standing there I hear her tell the guy that "i am claiming" that all Of the movies were on special , to which i interrupted and told her that only the movies that were there were on special and that i had not Gone and picked another one from a different section, we were there for a good 15-20 minutes only to be turned away and telling me that the movies were regular price. The ladies attitude did nit help at all. I went to speak to the manager and explained the situa but she also turned me away. I was very dissapointed because it was not my fault to assume that all of the movies instead of some of those movies were on special. The way they fixed the displays are very deceitful and would confuse anyone, and for them to still give me an attitude making me feel like i did it on purchsse. read more

This is my neighborhood store and I like it! Always clean, well-stocked and friendly/helpful employees. In addition to the regular store, there's a large grocery section with fresh vegetables and meats, plus anything else you might need. Plenty of check-out stands and four self-check-out stands. Parking lot is large, but this is a popular place and it gets filled, so sometimes you need to park far away or drive around hunting for a spot. read more

Update 1/10: I came back again to try and get my WIC formula and yet again they're out. The girl said it said there should be 9 on the shelf but they weren't and she didn't see them in the back either. Either someone is messing up inventory or someone has 9 cans of formula in their cart....which defeats the purpose of limiting the quantities on certain products. ‍ Back to Walmart it is. read more

Great customer service. Above and beyond what I expected. Try to do business with reputable company's like Target because they back up what they sell and are not going any where soon like some small company's. Specialist company's that have been around for a good while are also excellent. Always background check. I hope for wise shopping for you all. read more

Drove to this location because the target website showed that they had the iPod Nano that I wanted. This place sits on top of a hill, at first I had no idea how to get to the top of it. The parking lot is huge, as is the store itself. Has a Starbucks inside. I walked back to the Electronics area, and looked at the shelf that had the Nanos. Empty except for one - and it wasn't the one I wanted. At first I was kinda pissed because I went out of my way to come to this location. I found an employee and asked him if they had the one I wanted and he contacted the guys in the back - nope. He did find out which stores had it, called and asked them for a visual, and had it held for me. The employee went out of his way - I don't think Target usually holds items for customers. He turned a upsetting experience into a good one! Good job read more

Opps, so my original review was for the location RIGHT next to me... and this was the location a few miles down the road in West Covina. I like this location better as it's bigger and cleaner than the location on Colima that's closer to me. However, many times, I'm too lazy to drive here because on Azusa alone, sometimes the traffic is terrible. This Target also has a photo area and a Starbucks that is larger than most other location found inside Target. I love walking around Target and I usually end up buying stuff I don't need because it's on clearance, lol! The parking lot is pretty big as well. Also love to Target has free wii-fi. read more

It's target.. prices are good, tons of stuff... it's targets BUT currently waiting in line... have been for the last 20 mins, yet I'm still far from the front.... 2 computers have "stopped working" and there's still only 2 cashiers working. Can't use the self checkout because I'm purchasing alcohol, so I'm out of luck. One lady was nice and offered for me to move to guest services, but there was a line there too, so I stayed. I'm now second in line yippeee. read more

Wow what a different experience from the last time. Thank you to everyone that helped make my christmas shopping experience fast and fun. This review is so long overdue. They service in the front is the worst. They make up their own rules to the certain people they don't want to give good service to. I was able to cash out black merchandise cards in every other target but this one. When both cards show the same "fine print" in the back. This specific lady who was the "ETL" in the front named Ashley was extremely rude and kept talking over me as I was trying to show her their policy on their website but she kept ignoring and avoiding it by repeating "she already told you no and I also told you no, I can give you the number to blah blah blah blah." They pick and choose who they want to give their good service too. I'm honestly so done going to this location. read more

Luis in loss prevention helped us make sure we weren't getting any gift cards that had been tampered with. He made sure to remove the gift cards that people had replaced as part of a scam. Absolutely ridiculous service. The worst by far! Horrible service. If you see her never go to her line. Turn around and go to the Target on Colima or up to the one at Eastland. She is the worst cashier!!! No respect of any of the customers standing in a super long line. read more

Target - The worst cashier! - Department Stores Near Me - West Covina, California

So came in today just to simply get a bag of chips because I know target always has some sort of special on them and for some reason their sales tags we somewhat all of over the place in the case of placement where I was confused as to what was on sale and what wasn't. With my cravings I just went ahead and grabbed two bags of chips. I headed over to self checkout and out of curiosity I asked the cashier that was on standby if the chips I had grabbed were part of the deal going on...she seemed to have known the tags were also out of place and ended up helping me out and giving me the sale price which I really appreciated. She really didn't have to do that I just wanted to know if it was on sale or not. I didn't get a chance to get her name, but whether you're getting a discount on an item or not if an employee is genuinely trying to help you be grateful and say thank you. read more

OMG, I wish I can give this store no star. After u guys check out, u guys please please please check out the receipt carefully, cause the cashier work quality are so horrible, they might charge u more money from being work careless. I went to this store buy some plates and bowls, a set of plate is $17, the cashier charge me 4 sets price, so I have to go return&exchange area fix this shit, the cashier said so she will refund me 2 more sets for the extra charge, that's really so up set, as an adult, don't u know 4-1=3?After that, I found they also charge me one extra price for the bowl, I really feel so disappointed, they are wasting my time because of their unprofessional. I will never go back again. read more

Used the drive up option today and wait time in drive in stall was less than 5 minutes, but employee seemed rushed and unhappy.

Lost my target red card at this Target and tried calling this location to see if anyone turned it in. No one in ANY department picks up! They let it ring out. Thank God, I called the 800 number for the red card to disable it. read more

AVOID THIS TARGET AT ALL COST ! Manager or whoever was in charge (Lynette or at least she said that was her name) does not care to honor prices advertise in the app... browsing through the target app for cat food I found a good deal but when I was going to pay it turn out to be a big difference in price.. I asked for management hopping they would adjust price... when manager came she said it's a different item... well it's the same brand ...same weight same flavor as listed on the app same everything, but they (target) wants me to pay more than what they say it is? She reply saying that the one in the app is actually discontinued... so is the target app advertising items and telling people where in the store to find them and assuring costumer it's available at x amount and overcharging them at check out??? read more

I went in to pick up Vitamin-D. World wide medical research has shown that people are deficient in Vitamin-D. Vitamin -D is essential to prevent all infections and flu viruses. Vitamin -D is the sun vitamin , our skin makes it in the Sun. All of us who live indoors do not get a exposure to this. So resulting in more diseases and cancer. Even cancer is triggered by a infection. So i bought Vitamin-D 3000 units one capsule daily to help prevent all illness. This is a nice store with ample parking. read more

I will never ever step foot in this Target again. I was at the register waiting in line and the customer in front of me had something that required more time from the cashier, so I politely asked the cashier if this would take long and should I move to another register. The cashier says with an attitude "By the time you move to another register, we'll be done over here." That to me implies that they would be done quickly, but no, that was not the case. The cashier should have said to me ... it'll be one moment, I'm sorry for the wait. I would've have been happy with that response. Poor customer service! read more

My first time at this target and I really liked it. Everything was neat & clean and the staff were pretty nice as we'll. The badgering of cashiers pushing for red cards at check out is getting way out of control. Please change your policy for employees needing to get so many customers signing up for red cards per shift to keep themselves employed at your stores as a requirement. I love shopping at Target and most of the employees are very nice and helpful but having this requirement makes the cashiers pushy and the customer feeling unvalued. I now do most of my shopping from target online which in a good way I buy my item intended instead of going into target for an item and coming out with a basket full of stuff so in a way my wallet thanks you. read more

the register need more training, they should has same page with target. The gift car scan should not be hard at all. Sure this target may be more nice than most but that's because it's one of the newer buildings. Too bad the employees didn't meet the general standards of customer services. As I'm shopping, a female employee cuts me off without saying "excuse" me just to say hello to a friend she saw shopping in the same aisle as me. As I'm making my selection all I hear is the employee and her friend gossip. I wouldn't make it a big deal if the employee had at least asked if I needed help first. Unless you're on break take it elsewhere. I get we run into our friends but don't have a full on conversation about work drama inside your work. Lastly, my cashier was so serious. It made me feel uncomfortable when she started going through the items I was purchasing. It's one thing to start a conversation but this cashier would stare at every item she scanned as if she had an opinion. Overall, this Target is really nice looking but that's about it for me. read more

My everyday Target so I'm pretty lucky because this one has great service and great management. The aisle are clean the racks are neat the bathrooms are clean. This Target rocks. I actually come to this location a lot and am a target red card holder. This review is just to share an unpleasant experience I faced in the electronics department. There was a sale where if you purchase Madden '15 and a bag of Doritos, you get a $10 gift card for free. What turned into a simple transaction turned into 30 minutes of waiting. The gift card was incorrectly loaded on their end to read $100 instead of $10, which then lead to having all of the transactions having to be reversed and re-done. Although the employees were nice, it was a very big inconvenience to have to wait that long to purchase two items. I'm likely to keep shopping at target for the 5% off for red card, but they need to find a better way of resolving errors in a timely fashion. Luckily I wasn't in a hurry today, otherwise it would've been a more frustrating experience. I hope someone from this location takes note of this. read more

I am never coming back to shop at this Target or any Target again (not that I ever frequented this place anyways). I tried to return a conditioner that is a whole.. EIGHT dollars. WOW. I assumed a huge corporation like Target could afford to refund such a measly amount of money to keep a customer happy. But NO, I was wrong. The girl who helped me was obviously taking her "customer service" position way too seriously and was power-tripping, because she WOULD NOT let me return the conditioner because it was opened. It's not that I really need that money, but I was actually unsatisfied with that product, and I just think it's so stupid for a business to treat their customers like that. I am never coming back. Maybe just to complain to their manager, but not to buy anything. To me, customer service and a good return policy make it or break it for me when it comes to shopping. read more
