    I frequent this Home Goods store often as it is right by my kids' school. I usually find really awesome items for a great price and had always left as a happy shopper. Well, today was different. I bought an air purifier at great deal ($69.99 which usually sells for about $169.99 on Amazon, last one left in a brand new box, sensor tagged), took it out of the box when I got home and realized it was a completely lower end model as shown in the box. I was a bit frustrated as the drive back to Walnut and needing to find a parking on a Saturday afternoon was going to waste me another hour or so. When I got there and explained to the cashier the reason for my return, she was nice but unapologetic. It seems as if she knew this was an opened box that had the product switched out, because when I suggested for her to open the box to inspect it, she didn't and went ahead and issued me a store credit. Now this whole deal was not the reason I am giving this Home Goods a less than stellar two stars. It was when I went back in line to pay for a new purchase, I saw the cashier and possibly a manager re-tagged the same item, put the security sensor back on, and RETURNED it to the sales floor and try to resell it AGAIN as if it was new. I honestly have no issues with purchasing slightly used products, but selling a completely different model as a higher end one is not very ethical. Thumbs down for this Home Goods in Walnut.

    Nice variety of items to look at and for. Service is quick but would be nice to have or someone offer help on the floor. They were asking for donations if you did the smile there if not I saw a poor difference. Pricing is pretty good. The one thing I was thoroughly disgusted about was their carts were very dirty I mean the majority of them if not all.

    I'm always looking for a good high quality item at a comfortable price and home goods never disappoints. Their selection of home items is immense. They have reorganized the store and looks inviting and airy. The personnel is ready to help you with your needs .

    I called three times for a stock check on a seasonal item. Was put on hold all three times all over 10mins! How is this acceptable?? I kept hanging up and calling again. This location is the only one who takes this long or ignores calls! How do they know I'm not spending thousands on this visit alone? Terrible customer service!

    I come here often but yesterday and today has been a horrible experience. I came late last night to shop without the crowd so it would be an stress-free experience but I was wrong. I purchased a few items as I was paying, the woman worker at my register forgot to give someone their bag so another employee ran after them. I grabbed my bags that she handed me and I left. Well I wish I had as much effort from her as the previous shopper had because she forgot to give me a bag of mine and I drove all the way home (I don't live in the area ) and realized I was missing two items! So I called told them what happened and they put it on hold for me they said I didn't need the receipt, to just leave my name so I left two names, mine and my partners. I show up and I tell a young man working and he asks another older woman with glasses that had zero empathy she didn't even turn around and says she was busy and I had to wait !!!! I'm diabetic so my sugars are dropping at this point I let her know and told her why I was in a rush she just kept her back to me and told me she had to finish what she was doing . The young male tried to tell me that it was an honest mistake, I said no it wasn't because she did the same thing to the person prior to me and forgot to give them their bags as well yesterday. So the older woman with glasses was done and took my phone since I had a photo of the receipt in it and went to the other side of the store while my phone was unlocked !!!!! I was very upset because I seen a bag sitting on the counter right next to her knowing it's probably mine! She can't find my bag the young man goes to help her. Additional employees come to the area I was in and I let them know that I think the bag next to them is mine, they asked me the names I told them and also told them what was in the bag, they replied and they said yup and handed me my bag but before I could grab it this older woman with glasses grabbed it from them and wanted to see my receipt which at this point I put my phone away I told her this is what's in it, my name is on the bag and I'm leaving. Making me feel like I was in the wrong !!!! Or trying to steal!!!!!! Carol I believe is her name thankfully when I called the store to get her name Kelsey, the manager was very kind and this review is in no reflection to my experience with her because her quality assurance was great! Very empathetic, very apologetic and took ownership only if she could be duplicated . Overall this store does have a nice selection of items , clean bathrooms and ok prices but just beware of the service you get, might be hit or miss. This review is just from the experience I had, nothing more.

    I switched over shopping at 'Home Goods,' was because this store is situated right next to TJ Maxx, Walnut which I already frequented. 'Home Goods' store carries a Wide variety of items from furniture to kitchen ware and lots of other miscellaneous home goods as its own store name suggests. The last time I visited 'Home Goods,' Walnut, I was pleasantly surprised to find out they sold Tommy Bahama brand kitchen ware. I bought a set of four pieces. I will most likely return here to stock up on more. They also carry other brands of kitchen ware as well, but I always only stick to my favorite brand for stocking up. During The weekends, the check out line can grow quite long but just be a tad patient: the cashiers work like clockwork here. I'll be visiting again soon!

    It's really disappointing because i LOVE coming to home goods but whenever i try to shop at this location they're never open when stated. on google it states they open at 9AM but when i checked yelp it states they don't open until 9:30AM?? if yelp has the correct hours than the google page should be updated because as a morning person i hate just sitting outside for almost half an hour thinking they just don't ever open "on time" according to google. i love coming to this location because i find the best things here unlike other locations near me but constantly being given wrong information through google is frustrating.

    One of my fave stores to walk around. Today seemed like they had a huge shipment, as the shelves were piled high! Maybe too much. The poor aisle of pet beds were falling into the aisle. And that wasn't the only aisle full of merchandise. The unfortunate for me, I don't like digging through things to look for that great find. So it's usually a slow walk through the aisles hoping to find something of interest, usually something I really don't need to buy. But we'll all know, we like a little bit of retail therapy. Always a huge selection here, especially for your home. It is called Home Goods. What I especially like here is the furniture selection. They have lamps, sofas, area rugs, etc. I had found this great looking table where the edges flip up and over, but to my surprise, the hinges weren't fasten and there could have been an accident. Thankfully I had a good hold of it came caught it before it fell to the floor. My safety isn't a priority here. Tape the panel down or something for the safety of your guests! Parking can be a little congested here. There's a lot of great stores at this location.

However, you must call in in advance to schedule an appointment with them due to COVID-19. They are limiting their capacity, so they don't really allow walk ins. They are also doing this because they want to ensure that there is an employee available to help answer all of your questions and concerns. If you suddenly come in, there may not be an employee available to assist you in case you have any questions or concerns. So please call in advance. They are also sanitizing in between customers. While I was looking for furniture in this store with my mom several weeks ago in this establishment, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment. Parking: A plethora of parking. Seriously. You can park anywhere you want in the lot. It's massive. So few cars there during COVID. Furniture: Lots of furniture to choose from. However, if you do not find what you are looking for, have no fear. You can take a look at their plethora of catalogs to find what you are looking for. Staff: The employee helping my mother and I went above and beyond to assist us. Even though we unfortunately did not find what we wanted in the store or the catalog, she was kind enough to take down my number and promised to contact me if she found what we wanted. She ended up texting me several times and showed me pictures of couches that we might possibly like. I love how dedicated she is to her job. She deserves a raise.

We also got an umbrella and was surprised at how good the quality was. Delivery was on the outer end of what they thought it might take, but still within the schedule. The guys that delivered it were terrific and we are really thrilled with our purchase. We're planning to go back and get another couple of umbrellas.

    We inherited a Brown Jordan Patio Set that was most likely either purchased in the late 60's, early…read more70's. They were in good shape with the exception that some of the framing was getting pitted and straps were faded, but not broken. This set, including the glass table, have been outside in the sea air and all elements since they were purchased. We wanted to honor my wife's grandparents by not replacing this set. So we decided to invest in a restoration, due to how well made this set is. I found Patio Guys on Yelp and decided to use them for this project. As we were starting to wipe down the chairs, we noticed a label on one of the chair frames, which was a Patio Guys restoration logo decal. Turns out our late relative had used them before, but uncertain at what decade were they restored before. I guess it was destiny to use Patio Guys. For the strap width of what our chairs required, there was not a huge selection to choose from. So if you're looking to replace with a sunny yellow, orange or teal, you'll need to make an alternate choice. Lots of whites, creams, tans, and earthy greens to choose from. The only blue is like a Dodger blue or a forest green. So we took a leap of faith and chose turquoise. It's perfect!! We were in no hurry and quoted 4 weeks turn around time. It was more like 6 weeks, but I was anticipating more like 10 weeks. Plus we were the cause of not getting the chairs back sooner due to our schedule. The job Patio Guys has exceeding my expectations. I knew the patio set would look better than the existing condition, but I wasn't expecting a brand new condition.
