Good prices and a big variety of vegetables and meat and cleaning products and restaurant options for food services

They got so expensive now, that they're more expensive than Costco. How can you call yourself a wholesale store for restaurants? I will never buy from Restaurant Depot again! read more

I went to buy chicken 120 lb. Great price. Some prices you can get better on sale. But if you want quality and fair prices. This is the place. You have to own a business. There is no charge for membership. I like going here because I find all types of stuff to try. The service is alway great. In all my years I have never had a problem with pricing, quality or customer service. read more

Not only are the prices are expensive, the owners also seem to be lacking the funds to provide adequate security measures. Despite being aware of the presence of robbers in the area, they have taken no action to address the issue. As a result, both my wife and another individual with a significant amount of money were robbed. It's concerning that the owners have not taken any steps to ensure the safety of their customers. If I could I give 1/4 star o zero. read more

The staff at All restaurant depot are not very helpful. You can have a load of stuff on your cart and they will not offer or budge any help. I rather drive all the way to New Taiwan in El Monte, all the staff there are super helpful meaning they will follow you and grab each items for you and help you load all the stuff to your car. Depot should also practice that. read more

Great value for a restaurant owner with a lot of different options. Fresh food fresh veggies

The WORST RESTAURANT DEPOT LOCATION! The workers are not very helpful, they dont care about customer service. They are very uncourteous as well. Check also your receipts, they tend to overcharge. I bought 1 big can of coconut milk, first time I checked my receipt they charged me with 1 case instead of just 1 can! THEIR SERVICE IS HORRIBLE ESPECIALLY THE CUSTOMER SERVICE LADY NAMED ALICIA RODRIGUEZ! read more

This place sucked...they sent out flyers to advertise they had special prices on certain items for the Holiday but then when we went to buy the items they jacked the price up and the manager was rude n wont honor what was advertised..bad customer service n false advertisement..dont know if I will ever go back will probably buy my restaurant stuffs somewhere else. read more

I got a one day pass with the front desk to purchase king crab legs here. It was $180 for 10 lbs in a box = $18/lb. Grocery stores sell them for $26+ per lb. All the legs were meaty and no broken pieces like advertised on the box. You can find them on your right fridge once you walk in. read more

This place has the best quality everything!! Everything you need is always available!!

Never wrote a review but I feel like I have and need too. Been many restaurant depot but this location is the most helpful and friendly one. Pacco the gentleman that always on the floor is very helpful. Anything you need or have a question he's always there to help with a knowledge and a smile. Makes you feel very very welcome. Just heard that he got promoted. He deserves it! Good luck to you and wish you all the best with your new position. Hope someday see you again. Thank you for your friendliness and professionalism read more

Been coming here for years now. It looks like management got the message and got their act together. My orders have been ready on time every time!! Every one has been very helpful and they go out of their way to make sure my order is ready on time. My hat off for the Edwin, Carla and the whole team. Keep it up !!!! read more

Called to ask if they had something in stock. They hung up on me. NOT ONCE. NOT TWICE. 4 TIMES. Really nice customer service. Fantastic. They're supposed to be catering to businesses and yet they can't handle customer service. read more

Good prices, Great quality items and food. I shop here for my restaurant needs all the time. Most of the cashiers and personal are very attentive and nice specially the guys that help to upload the merchandise outside they are great. I will continue shopping here for my restaurant needs. read more

I shop here for food supplies for a small business, and they are generally pretty good. Its kinda a fun field trip, too, a huge warehouse (yes there is a membership required and I think you need a resale certificate to join) filled to the brim with everything you need for a food business. The large area that is a walk-in fridge is c-c-c-old and has veggies, frozen food, cheeses and meats, etc. Love the paper items, straws, cups, giant pizza pans, chefwear, aprons, etc. I would advise to thoroughly check the prices on things here, however. On many items it is slightly higher than Sam's or Costco. Also, their selections are hit and miss, often, they run out (particularly fresh veggies: out of diced onions last time we were there- waahaat?) and you must carefully check expiration dates. The employees are also hit n' miss, be careful- recently a special-order item was not pulled properly as promised and it screwed me for a big event. No bueno. I will forgive them this time, although next time I'll be calling to re-confirm. read more

Employee cashier Alma.....very rude, is combative and scolds customers. Alma needs to be retrained and taught to be pleasant and professional. read more

Don't expect to find cheep items here. Quality is what they sell. Large quantity's, restaurant cuts and portion control sizes.

Dropped the ball big time lately. Needed to ask for something dropped and the high low never came to drop it so I had to go somewhere else. Would be nice if I didn't have to go to the front and ask for things to be dropped and then wait 20 to 30 minutes for it to be dropped. I usually have a time schedule to keep since I'm doing deliverys to multiple stores. read more

First time I am seeing "Halal Pork products"..... I wonder if that is a joke? Please remove the Halal sticker from pork products and I will reconsider removing my review. read more

Worst place to purchase meat they will sell it bad and when you return it 40 minutes later is not there fault I'm just glad I caught this early so I don't spend my hard earned cash at a place we're they don't care about small starting business read more

I was wayyyyy surprised with how many things were overpriced!! Compared to Amazon, Costco, and even Smart n Final, Restaurant Depot seriously isn't that great. I got my membership and strolled the isles but was continuously shaking my head with the prices. Granted, it was my first time visiting and maybe I just don't know what offers to look for (yet), but it was really surprising. I'll give it another shot soon. read more

Once again this is one of the best Restaurant Depot that I've dealt with especially the front end manager (Michael) always there to help you out, I explained to him that on 4/25/14 among other things I've purchased a bundle of bags the count should be in two hundred and fifty, when I got back to my shop I realize the bundle was opened and only half the bags were there 125. So came in today to purchase more bags among other things spoke to the manager Michael explain to him what happened and he only charged me half price. Wonderful place awesome manager. read more

Restaurant Depot - Bundle was open and half of the bags and missing. But the manager took care of it the next time I came in thank you Michael - Wholesale Stores Near Me - Walnut, California

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I have shopped here several times...sometimes several times a week lol. Obviously this is where restaurants shop so there is tons of stuff in bulk, but they do have the option to buy single items which is perfect for when I do small catering events. All of the people that work there are so amazing and super nice! They always offer to help, if you need something up high or heavy they are right there to get it for you. They normally have nice boxes to box your stuff up in and then they help you to your car. There have been a few times where we have gotten produce that isn't the freshest and sometimes meat as well (our fault for not checking the expiration date) BUT...They have no problem taking it back, and you can get credit to exchange or get cash back. They have a great selection of cheese, lots of fresh veggies including a good selection of asian vegetables, young coconuts which are hard to find sometimes and lots more! Most everything is priced way better then anywhere else but I do agree with Elsie that there are a few things that could be priced a little better at other stores...like chocolate chips. All in all this is a great place with amazing people and if you have the way to get there then go...meaning find a place with a membership and borrow the card or find a way to get a membership through an organization. I have always seen firemen shopping at regular grocery stores...they should be able to shop here!! haha read more

This new location just opened a few months ago & I've been about 3 times. I think most people don't know about it yet because I never see many customers shopping when I'm there. It is a cash and carry & membership is required & free when you show them proof that you are purchasing for a business/organization. The staff there are really friendly, always walking around asking if you need any assistance. All of their items are constantly in stock, organized & available to order in bulk. The only thing is that some prices on certain items are a better deal elsewhere if you're willing to bargain hunt. read more

Weekdays around 8am are usually the busiest days. However, everyone here are always reaching out to help. From the front desk, to the fresh produce area, to the wine &spirits section, checkout and when loading, staff is all there for you . read more

I don't know why this place doesn't have 5 stars. The staff is super helpful and friendly.

Loved the layout to the left right away. Great to have another alternative to Sam's Club, Smart and Final and Costco Wholesale.

Cool location with good staff. Always one around willing to help. Fast checkout lanes and overall clean! 5 stars guys good job

I was excited to check out this Restaurant Depot because I frequent the Anaheim location and the Walnut store is right by my house. Meh. I'm going back to Anaheim. It feels half the size of the one on Kraemer (it might be) and the main reason that I went was to grab some fresh fish for today's special during Lent. Anaheim has a massive fresh fish counter but Walnut only has salmon. One fish. Whoopee. In fact the entire refrigerated section of their store is inferior to Anaheim. Nothing looked particularly bad just much smaller scale and no selection. I'll probably stop in if I'm in dire need but otherwise I'll probably stick to (Gasp!) Sysco. read more

This place need some serious work. They're always out of things and that's a big problem for restaurant owners, who expect to have access to the same ingredients and supplies at all times. Most of the employees are very nice but some of them get pretty rude, especially close to closing time. read more

my family spends alot of money here each week for our business. I went yesterday and had Crystal as my cashier. She was so rude and flat out pissed me off. Note to MANAGER dont put people to work cashier if they cant be nice... you'll lose your customers. read more

I come here atleast once a week. Prices are great and you can find almost anything you are looking for for a restaurant. Its just difficult to load heavy stuff in the car even if there are many workers outside in the parking lot... they just ignore you. read more

Came here for the first time cause it's closer to where I stay. This is a smaller warehouse compared to the ones in LA like less than half the size of a warehouse in LA. Unfortunately because of the size they don't carry everything the larger stores carry and what they do carry they have a short supply of. read more

If you shop for a small food business? This is the place, you can pick up everything you need weather you cater or have a restaurant. I really like the meat selection, if you know how to, you can buy a big piece of meat and butcher it down to single portions. There is even an instructional video playing near the cash register. The staff was very helpful. As a responsible shopper, you should always check the expiration date before purchasing. Also I have been there twice and have not seen a fresh fish section. Bummer read more
