They refused to refund, offered in-store credit only. I bought the items the same day, not even an hour ago, and you are refusing to refund? Bad business! Quick and efficient service, the inside of this place is huge and there's so much to go through it can feel overwhelming but the nice this is that everything is very well organized and easy to find things ! I have gone here both on weekdays and weekends and it has not been to crazy. Also, the employees are super helpful when it comes to finding things in the store. I would highly recommend that when signing the receipt though, you double check that you are getting charged appropriately for the right items since they have a final sale policy AND they do not use a scanning system but rather typing in the item ID number or manually entering the item into their POS system. As a small business owner, it is good to know a place like Action Sales exists and is open, Monday through Saturday, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. This means, that if something breaks in your business (like a soap dispenser or trash can), you can zoom over the next day and pickup what you need to ensure you business can continue operating without a hitch. The staff here are all pretty helpful and friendly. Our business has purchased a variety of items for use, and all of it has worked, as promised. I've been to many restaurant supply stores in So Cal and Action Sales is by far the best store in terms of competitive pricing and item availability. Although Action Sales caters to many Asian restaurants, many other types of restaurants like American or Mexican(even chain stores) are starting to order from Action. You know that they're doing something right if restaurants of all sorts are shopping here. The customer service here is excellent as the staff are prompt and courteous. They're also great at giving you suggestions on what and how much you may need for your business. This place is amazing. I have been purchasing all my equipment and supplies here for the past 2 years. Before coming here, I used to go to chef's toys and Star. Everything from the selection to customer service is top notch. When they don't have what I'm looking for, they source it for me. I also had ordered an equipment which I wasn't familiar using and they came by and showed me how. They also picked up equipment I ordered but decided I couldn't use in my space. It is well organized, friendly and helpful employees, and has all you need to start a restaurant. But for someone that is a home cook it is like trying to find a diamond in the rough. So definitely do not come out of your way, but stop by and take a peek if you have something in mind and you're in the area. I visited this business for the first time today to find a new sauce pan. It's a big warehouse with its own parking lot. You can pretty much find anything you might need for your house and restaurant. I got a saucepan for $7.98 and the lid for about $2. I ended up buying a small non-stick pan as well for another $7.98. I got good customer service and the pans are heavy aluminum. I just didn't like that they don't have a return policy for customers that are buying for personal use. read more

This store is stocked with just about anything a restaurant needs. I went in to buy a stockpot, which is a very small purchase for this kind of wholesale store. Nevertheless, I got excellent service. In fact, the salesperson showed me a model that is saving me a ton of money in gas. If you make stock regularly, you know how expensive it can be. This beautiful stainless steel pot has a special bottom to increase its efficiency 30%. I am happy with my purchase and happy with discovering Action Sales. Last month I ordered gloves online for an In store pickup. I get an email saying it was ready for pickup. I arrive to the store just to wait 15 minutes to be told " oh sorry we are out of stock" how are you out of stock when you emailed me telling me it was ready for pick up? I gave an associate my order number and he said I would be contacted when the items were in stock so that I could come pick them up. A week went by and nothing. I send an email with my order number as well as a screenshot of the original email stating my item was ready for pick up when in fact that was untrue. Being an essential worker and caring for an elderly parent I don't have the time to keep driving to the city of industry going off of incorrect information given by the company. At this point i refuse to go back into that hot store just be nonchalantly told again oh sorry we are out of stock of the item we told you we had. What's so hard about responding to a customer email for an issue or calling someone back? Terrible customer service I will never recommend this company for anything.
