Just got an awesome ice machine delivered through them. It went 600 miles with no damage. They really know how to pack their products and I got the best price by calling them directly. They were very friendly and professional and prompt about sending out the ice machine. read more

Ordered a double oven for our school. The staff at Mike's was responsive answering all my questions and concerns. They followed up after shipment was made. The unit arrived in NC in 5 days. We needed a new beverage fridge for outside. Mike's restaurant supply put us in touch with the warehouse in Rancho Cucamonga and we were able to save $250 shipping fee by going directly there to pick it up. The front office is helpful and knowledgeable about their inventory. read more

Owner and staff are super-duper friendly!!! GINORMOUS warehouse of anything you can think of food-service related.

At first, my husband and I were so excited to find this place since we just opened our new restaurant!! I found this place because I needed a new drink dispenser. The dispenser ad said it was brand new even though it did look used. However, this was not the issue. When I got the dispenser in my restaurant it only stayed cold for a day and half. I called and they told me to bring it back. When my husband was putting the dispenser into the car the side panels fell off. He tried to put it back together but the screws were all different sizes as if someone added different screws. After about 3 days, they called and said there was nothing they can do, and they would not even give us store credit because it looks as though we "took the machine apart" . I spoke with both Jessica and Ariana and they basically told me there was nothing they can do but would get back to us. Fast forward to over a week later we STILL have not heard back from them and we are out $500 and they still kept our machine. We will not be coming back or recommending this place to our friends whom all own several restaurants. My suggestion if you are thinking of giving this place a shot, make sure you stuff works and wont have to bring it back! read more

Mike personally came out and gave me a bid for a decent amount of equipment. After that I got excuses, delays and then eventually after a month a No Thanks. I suggest you save your time and energy and go with someone else to move your equipment. read more

Great place to get restaurant supplies. The owners are great and helpful. Every worker was very respectful and polite. Even the warehouse guys aknowledged me and made sure I was found what I was looking for. For the first time being in a restaurant supply store, I was very intimidated but they made me feel comfortable and not pressured. read more

Just came by to pickup my auction which was 90% scrap metal and allot of it was old and not working or rusted mixing bowls. But the attitude from the staff in the back and the stare down from the guy when to get my item. Will never buy anything at this place because bad customer service. read more

First, let me say that I am a volunteer PTSA VP and run a volunteer staffed store at my daughter's high school. I have no experience purchasing commercial refrigerated displays, so I was concerned about what questions to ask and what to look for and what to watch for. I knew that we could not afford the units we needed, if we bought new and was terrified about buying used equipment. But, I finally decided I had to bite the bullet and buy something. After visiting a couple of other places and not feeling good about buying, I found Mike's. Based on the Yelp reviews, I was hopeful, but still very guarded. I walked in the door and immediately noticed how pleasant the office smelled and the office and warehouse were both very clean too. Sunnie greeted me and was very friendly. She was eager to help me and happily answered all my questions (and I asked a lot of them). I already thought that I wanted to purchase a pass-thru unit, but it was out of my budget to buy a new one. Mike's had one in stock and it was in amazing condition. Mike's also had some table top refrigerated display that were in great condition too. With all the time I spent researching and also visiting the other places, it never felt right. I never felt confident enough in the units or the businesses. But it was different with Sunnie. She made it clear that she cared about the customers. After giving me time and space to ponder it (and take a look at what else they had available), I told Sunnie I wanted them. She got to work and had me out of there in no time. The process was fast and easy! The units were delivered two days later and everyone was thrilled! A little over a week after they arrived, the tabletop case began blowing warm air. I called Sunnie and Mike immediately had Francisco, his refrigeration guy, at our store at 9am the next morning. While I hate to admit it, the problem turned out to be user error (mine). Some of the items were starting to freeze, so I adjusted the temp up a little. What I didn't realize is that I was looking at the wrong notch as a guide. I ended up turning it up way too far and it stopped blowing col are I called Sunnie, told her what happened and apologized. She was very kind! Also, while Francisco was there, he should me a couple of tips on how to maintain the units. He was so nice and extremely professional! I cannot thank Mike, Sunnie, and Francisco enough! It looks like we need another table top unit and I know exactly who to call! I definitely recommend them to everyone! read more

Our American Legion post in Midway City needed a replacement display cooler on short notice. We checked several restaurant supply houses in Orange County. Mike's staff guided us with no pressure to purchase any particular unit. Pricing was up front and fair. We wound up purchasing a "floor model" display cooler with the same service and warranty as a shipped unit. They even arranged same day delivery. A great company that will be first on our list next time. read more

My husband and I discovered this gem on Friday and I was like a kid in a candy store. Planing on going back to see all of the great new equipment that just came in. The business is family owned and ran which makes it an awesome experience 5+ stars. read more

A great place to buy used or new rest supplies. Today I drove to OC from Santa Monica and bought an oven and a cart for my pizza restaurant Reds. Mike n I negotiated the deal via Ebay and once there, he tested the material and even replaced the faulty knobs and made sure I was happy. He helped load the oven and the cart in my car too. Reasonable prices and the warehouse looks clean and everyone seems professional and helpful. A great family business. Overall a good experience from beginning to end; unlike many other used suppliers who are nothing but hustlers and small time overpriced dealers. Highly recommend this place and I'll be back for more items soon. read more

Best place for affordable and durable litter pans. I use the stainless-steel steam table food insert pans for my foster kittens and cats litter pans. Very easy to clean and sanitize. You never know what you will find because their stock does rotate. Even though I stop and shortly before closing they are always very friendly and helpful. read more

Super nice staff, great deals! Will definitely return when building out future brick and mortar.

Mike and Sunnie are amazing, I feel really lucky to have found them. Everything from the amazing showroom and variety to the customer service is to point. They go above and beyond to help their customers, they really care! I had an issue with a refrigerator and I called them, they were able to send me a tech and get it fixed :) If you are looking to buy used or new equipment look no further come and visit them, I promise you will not regret it. read more

I'm rating Mike's Restaurant Supply strictly on customer service. I bought a used warming cabinet for a few hundred dollars. These things new usually cost a few thousand. Mike and team allowed me to test the unit before I purchased it. Everything appeared to work well after testing for over 30 mins. I brought the warmer home and after an hours use, the heating element went out. I don't blame mike or his team for this. It is used and these failures are unpredictable when buying used. Called mike backup and he had his technician attempt to fix it. Still no luck. Mike was in close communication with me during the entire process. We texted back and forth and he was very accommodating. He really felt bad and wanted to make things right. He tried giving me a discount on another unit. Unfortunately that other unit didn't fit in my suv so I didn't buy anything from mike. He gave me a full refund. I really appreciated how he handled everything and felt the need to express this good experience. read more

Best place for restaurant supply. I was in and out in 15 minutes with a great deal on a freezer. Francesca is great to work with.

I contacted this company to purchase a Gelato Display case off Craigslist and worked out a deal with them that was slightly lower than listed price. I asked them to send over an invoice and sent them over my authorization payment to purchase the item. I was then told after sending in my payment and photo ID that the item was already sold on Ebay and I would not be getting this item. The item should have been pulled off Ebay or a refund to the Ebay buyer in this case considering the situation but to my disbelief the company decided to deny my purchase and explain to me they could not do anything about it after having my information and payment on file. read more

My son and I own a small business, in the past we have made many equipment purchases that left us wishing we didn't. From equipment problems to unreliability, we're definitely had our fair share of wasted time and money. Wow, I sure wish I knew about Mike's back then. Mike and Sunnie are so kind and helpful. They really look to go the extra mile and help you get what you are looking for. We needed a dough proofer for our baking that adjusted to a very precise temperature. Mike and his team problem solved every option and was even willing to take a part from another piece of equipment to customize what we needed. They really are there for you. I don't plan on going anywhere else for our equipment needs in the future. The stuff they sell is top quality and is backed up with product knowledge and reliability. I recently bought a food truck out of state. I had to repalce some equipment. Mike and Sunnie were there for me big time. They were the most helpful people I've encountered since buying the truck. Sunnie contacted a vendor and got them to make a custom sized griddle for me. Mike had some great suggestions on how to move some of the equipment around so things would flow better. I cannot say enough good things about them. I was also VERY happy with their prices. They had a great selection! read more

I have purchased bakery equipment from craigslist, ebay, and other restaurant supply stores in the past. Ive never gotten the quality or customer service that I received at Mikes. Mike and Sunnie are very nice and personable. They are real and truly try to help you out in every way they can. After purchasing from them, I really hesitate buying from anywhere else. They really know what they sell and back up their equipment. There not there to rip you off like others Ive been to, but actually help want to get exactly what you need. They really strive to develop a strong business relationship with the customer. Thanks Mikes! read more
