And AWAY...WE...GO!!!…read more My Samsung dryer really said, "I'm done working," and stopped heating out of nowhere. Cool. Love that for me. So I'm scrolling Facebook, find Dependable Fix buried in the comments, and decide to roll the dice. Best decision I could've made. Rick answers, I explain the issue, and he hits me with, "I can be there tomorrow between 8-10 AM." Say less. Booked. He even follows up with a confirmation text--already operating at a level most companies don't. Next morning? Rick pulls up EXACTLY on time. Not "sometime in the window," not "running a little late"--nope. Right. On. Time. I show him the dryer and it's go-time. Panels are off, tools are out, and he's in full detective mode. No guesswork, no dragging it out--just straight to business. And here's the kicker...he actually brought parts with him ahead of time just in case. Who does that anymore?! Within minutes, he diagnoses the problem and actually walks me through what failed with the heating element. Not just "yeah it's broken"--he SHOWS you. Transparent, honest, zero BS. At this point I'm thinking...why can't every service experience be like this?? Rick is the definition of a pro--fast, knowledgeable, and straight-up real. And the diagnostic price? Don't even get me started...some of these big-name companies would charge double just to look at it. I'll say it loud--this was a WAY better experience than any Sears repair visit I've ever had. Not even close. So yeah...if your appliance is acting up, stop stressing and call Dependable Fix. Rick is HIM. I'm 1000% using him again and sending everyone I know his way. Easiest 5 stars of my life.

I had an excellent experience both times. I found Ricky to be very knowledgeable and trustworthy. No upsells, no trickery, no BS...he just gets appliances working! When I bought the second hand (but very expensive built-in) refrigerator, it wasn't working as expected. Ricky helped me check each component individually and had me monitor everything over 1-2 weeks. Through the process, he was always available through phone or text and he was super helpful in narrowing down the issue. Now, my second hand refrigerator works like a champ and I have a great understanding of how my refrigerator works. I saved an incredible amount of money (easily $3k+) with Ricky's help. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ricky to anyone who needs some help with their appliances.

This company was contracted through GE for a warranty appliance repair, and from start to finish the process was extremely unprofessional and poorly managed. First, after the initial service visit to diagnose the appliance, no information was entered into their system for over a week. This alone caused unnecessary delays in moving the repair process forward. We were then told that the replacement part had been ordered and were given an estimated delivery date -- however, when the part was delayed/back-ordered, no one proactively communicated that update to us. The most concerning issue is their complete lack of communication. Calls routinely go unanswered. On multiple occasions, the phone was either never picked up, immediately hung up, or routed to voicemail with no return call. Messages left were never acknowledged. Scheduling is equally unreliable. When service appointments are set with a stated arrival window, there is no follow-up, no courtesy call, and no real accountability. Technicians either arrive 1-2 hours late or do not show up at all. It's disappointing that a major manufacturer like GE would outsource warranty service to a company operating at this level of disorganization and unresponsiveness. Warranty repairs are already inconvenient for customers -- the service experience should make things easier, not more difficult. I strongly caution others against using this business if you have any alternative options. Save yourself the time, frustration, and lack of follow-through that we experienced. I hope GE re-evaluates this partnership, because the service provided here reflects poorly on their brand.

ASR: Actively Shirking Responsibility ​We were unfortunately…read morereferred to ASR through our home warranty for a refrigerator repair. A technician showed up on a Friday, just hours before a long holiday weekend, and promised to submit a work order to our insurance company. ​He never bothered to submit the work order. After we made multiple infuriating phone calls to follow up, we discovered they were screening our calls. They would pick up on the first ring when we called from a different phone, but ignore our number. It became clear that ASR had no intention of doing their job, leaving us to do their work for them and submit the order ourselves. ​Because of this stunning lack of professionalism and follow-through, we were left without a functioning refrigerator for two full, miserable weeks. This company is lazy and completely unreliable. Do yourself a favor and find someone else.
