I have sunglasses that I ordered and were expected to be available today. I called a little after 5:30pm to see if they would know if it would be today or if it would possibly be delayed (I had an order to pick up and also needed to know if I should wait until later or go now if the sunglasses are not there) the rep let me know that the delivery truck already came and that they were not on the truck so it was delayed. I never got upset and understood this happens and thanked them. I drove over to pick up the other order I had and spoke with the rep that I talked to on the phone. He again told me that the sunglasses were not there. I again said I understood. And that the truck comes once a day and would be then delayed. He said it would update on the app. Well guess what... I checked the app to see if it refreshed with a new time of arrival and it refreshed and the app FREAKING SAYS THAT THEY ARE READY FOR PICKUP. And I was already home and past closing time when I saw this. I ordered some shoes online and didn't like how they looked in person. So during the return set up it said I would be able to drop them off here. So I completed the return request and print out the paper work. The email confirmation stated they had a special parking area where I can just park and have one of their employees come to me to get the return., When I arrived I did not find such parking So I parked and went in to return it - had to wait in a long ass line. Help me understand the method in knowing there is a line of customers and suddenly 2 employees who were helping decrease the line just stop helping heir fellow coworkers to rather gossip and slowly put merchandise away when that can be a secondary task that can surely be done once your customers have been helped. Inside of the mall...on the 2nd Floor next to Gold's Gym. Not as big as other locations but they have a good selection of pretty much everything other locations do. For me, the Rack is hit or miss but today I found some really nicely priced boots. The store is kept pretty organized and clean which makes shopping easy. Prices are still normal for the Rack...just have to take your time to find a truly great find. Employees are pretty nice but check-out can take awhile for some reason. read more

Clear the rack sale now until Aug 2. Take an additional 25% off red tag items. Located in the West Covina Mall, near Sear's. If you are inside the mall, you will only be able to enter this store from the 2nd floor. If you are trying to get into this store from the outside of the mall, it is next to Sear's. Once you enter the front door entrance, you will take an escalator to the 2nd floor. This Nordstrom Rack is rather small, as compared to the location in Pasadena. Now it is has been a real long time since I last shopped at Nordstrom Rack (first time to this location) but I found nothing of real interest upon this visit. What brought into the store today was their clear the rack sale. But there seemed to be a small pickings of their red tag items in each department. If you have never been to a Nordstrom Rack before, it is basically like a Ross store, but with higher end name brand labels, at a higher discounted price point. So you will have to dig to find the best things. The reason why I have not shopped at a Nordstrom Rack in a long time is that over the years, I have learned that stores like Nordstrom Rack, Saks Off 5th and so forth made most of their products that they sell in store for their outlet/ discount stores. So what that means is that the quality of the items may not be quite the same from their other stores (Nordstrom and Saks for example), thus being able to sell their items at a discounted price. Gone are the days of outlets selling items that once was a surplus or a low sale of items from a previous season in the original store, and now have factories that are devoted solely to making items just for the outlet (have you ever seen those labels that say "made for factory store"?). But don't get me wrong, not all items sold in these discounted stores are "made for factory" and sometimes you will find items that are from the original store. And also honestly, some of the "made for factory" items are actually in good quality, but don't think you are always scoring a ridiculous discount though because of it. Anyways, enough of my lecture, but this is the main reason why I have not shopped in Nordstrom Rack or the like in quite some time. (It's not like I am rich, but I prefer to buy good quality items that last because I'm an adult now... gone away are the days of cheap clothing that last maybe 1 or 2 washes like Forever 21). (Back to my review).... The location is rather small and a little disappointing and really don't see myself coming back to shop here. I would rather drive a little further away to the Pasadena location. By the way, the restrooms are located right next to the men's shoes and the ladies' was decently clean upon this visit. And some contemporary designer labels I saw upon this visit included Michael Kors, Tory Burch (only a few pairs of shoes, no purses), Rebecca Minkoff, Vince Camuto. Was hoping to see some other higher end labels, but didn't on this trip (although there are some Nordstrom Rack locations that once in a while will carry such brands). read more

I'm not sure why some people don't like this rack. Yes, it's a bit smaller than the ones you're used to, but smaller doesn't mean it's any worse. It's one of the cleanest and organized racks I've been to. I haven't visited when they've had "clear the rack" events so I can't really comment on that, but I did post some pics of many pairs of shoes I got for under $20 around new years time. I think I found at least 4 pairs that were marked down to $5. I'm an avid rack shopper because you're bound to find good deals if you keep looking! Let me preface this by saying I used to H A T E Nord Rack, especially the Chino one, see my review if you dare... But this one is great. I come at dinnertime on a weekday, or very early Sat or Sun morning. The clearance stuff is great. Also the jeans that are 169.00 in the regular Nordies is 89.00 or 69.00 here. They have all the same brands! Also, new and terrific is the "find any green shirted employee" and they'll ring you up right there! No waiting! Yippee!!! Located on the second floor, this Nordstrom Rack seemed better organized than other ones I've been to. It might be smaller than the one in Pasadena (2 story store), but has all the great bargains you expect to find at a Nordstrom Rack. You can enter from the mall or directly into the store from the outside entrance and escalator. The Westfield mall in West Covina has made many renovations over the last few years, so the mall looks better, is larger, and has more shops than it used to several years ago. This Nordstrom Rack can be a hit or miss. If you plan to go before a sale, the racks will definitely filled with goodies and a great selection. On the other hand, when the sale is over and picked through you can actually leave empty handed :( Lucky for me, I was here the first day of the Presidents Day sale. Take additional 25% off the clearance - clear the racks!!! This means more merchandise from the stores will be arriving after the sale. I was able to score on some workout clothes and gear and saved about 75% of its original retail. I have a couple of more days of the sale and other locations to visit. They always have good deals from their sandals, clothes, accessories, bags, watches, etc. on designer brand names and the "rejects" (really it's just if the clothes are no longer in style or they have too much overstock--I used to work at Nordstrom) of the regular Nordstrom stores. Just found a gem earlier today which were Calvin Klein sandals and since it was Labor Day today got an extra 25% off! They normally have deals at the rack, but I did take a star off because the clothes are so unorganized and only have small/medium/large options as the rack and not so much the style. read more

Glad to have a Nordstrom rack option relatively close to home. Seems to be a little smaller than the other ones I frequent, Brea, South Coast, Cerritos, so they have a decent selection, but a couple times, didn't have my size. But if you need a Nordstrom rack, and you're in the area, it's cool. It's part of the mall, unlike the other two aforementioned locations, but what's great is that you can access the store directly from inside the mall or outside where the parking lot is. I find that pretty convenient when we can get parking quickly. Parking...like I said, you can park just outside the entrance but it is a packed mall most of the time so busy hours is hit or miss with parking. Always a hassle to actually get into the mall area from Vincent, but once you're in, you're pretty good to go. read more

Uhhh...I generally LOVE Nordstrom Racks, but I was less than impressed with this location. The selection was very limited compared to their other counterparts though the deals still seem to be on point. This is actually in a good store and I have been able to find a good amount of Volcom items. Of course it is the dumbed-down cheaper version of Volcom but the quality is still there. This store is definitely crowded- both in terms of merchandise and in the crowds of shoppers. For the love of God, please do not leave your stroller out in the middle of the aisle! I needed a pair of pointy flats and this was the only store I've found in the area that had affordable, pointy flats in stock. They were $45, which is not bad. I found a similar pair at Nordstroms for $105. The store did a great job of managing the line. It moved very quickly. Christopher was our cashier and he was so sweet! We didn't want the Nordstroms credit card, so he told us about the Nordstroms debit card. It deducts from your own bank account but you still get the rewards of having their credit card.
