Back when the coronavirus pandemic was at it peak, senior hours were everyday. Then senior hours were changed to Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I just went to the Stoughton Target at 8.00 am and was told that senior hours have gone back to every day, following governor's orders. That is rubbish, as no other supermarket or big box store has senior hours every day. BJs senior hours is only on Sunday for example. I contacted customer service on Chat and was told senior hours should only be Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and the Stoughton management will need internal coaching on this issue. By the way, there were no seniors lining up to get into this location, only a number of frustrated shoppers in the carpark. read more

This is my favorite Target location. They have covered parking which is great to keep your parked car away from the hot sun, snow and rain while you shop. The aisles are organized and always clean and clear of any debris. The checkout service are always pleasant. Starbucks on location are also a plus as well. read more

Great location close to Hwy 24. You can park outside or under cover. This super center has everything including fresh produce. There is also a Starbucks inside at this location. The staff are always friendly and helpful anytime live been there. Finding sizes and styles is hit and miss. Usually the more popular clothes items are picked over anytime I've been in. Store was dirty and not well stocked. Only one register open and I used self checkout and of course there was an issue and I needed assist. I went to the bathroom and it was the filthiest bathroom I had been in. No toilet paper in most of the stalls, one was unusable. It's a shame since I used to like coming to this store. I will not be returning, Walmart is cleaner with a better selection. read more

so . . . about a year ago i notice construction is starting at this intersection just off route 24. right in between ikea and bj's (if you go the back way out of the ikea and head up turnpike street towards randolph - a trip i make with disturbing frequency) i was pretty excited to see what was going in. then, the distinctive red-dot-surrounded-by-a-red-circle went up. i don't mind saying i got excited. then they put up the sign - opening october, 2008. opening for my birthday? awww, target, you shouldn't have. normally, i only get my target candy once or twice a year when i run my car over to my mechanic near their somerville location. i usually spend WAY too much money. for this reason, i was a bit worried. there is now a target within spitting distance from an area i go shopping every other week or so. there would be an initial high. i would go every other week. then every week. then every day. pretty soon, i'd be the homeless guy in the parking lot mumbling my way through their vast inventory. fortunately, since this target opened, i have only been there 3 times. once, i even managed to return something for store credit - which they gave me on a gift card - and didn't immediately re-spend it. it was hard, but i was able to call my sponsor and get the fudge out of there. the store, being new, is gorgeous. large, with ample parking and with a sbux franchise right inside, it's easy to come in and kill a couple of hours. the store is kept relatively well organized and has been clean every time i've been there, including the restrooms. there's not much here that's different from any other target, i'm just happy i no longer have to go to somerville or south bay for my fix. i'm an addict. i can admit it. i'm taking it one day at a time. read more

I placed a to go order of a tv and and after three hours I went to the store to ask when it would be ready and the lady at guest services was very rude and abrupt when telling me that she had no idea and to just wait for the email (she wasn't wearing a mask). Another 2 hours went by (a total of 5 hours since I ordered it) and I called the store asking what was going on and the same lady answered and said she still had no idea so I asked her if I could just cancel the order and just get the tv myself and purchase it and she said sure, so I proceeded to go into the store again and went to the service desk (same lady was there) and she told a young boy to go get our tv, who had a major attitude, and he brought it out and we were going to head to the car when the lady yelled hey where are you going you haven't paid for that... She then told us that we had to cancel the order (rather then her just processing the already existing order) and pay for it AGAIN right there even though I wouldn't get my refund till the next day. So I tried cancelling it and as I'm about to finalize it she says oh wait just kidding your order is processed, you're all set now after I have already transferred money. At this point I am beyond annoyed and the lady had nothing to say other then that fact that I was all set now (FIVE hours later) and the kid that was bringing out the tv had the audacity to say "you didn't park really far away did you"... WHAT!! are you not getting paid to walk 2 minutes into the parking lot to push a 30 lb tv!? Once we got to the car he just stood there and watched me load it in and just walked away once it was done. First, I luuuurve me some Target. And I love this Target, it's close to home, they have a great grocery department, and I get ridiculously excited for the shopping cart escalators. I bring shopping carts IN from the parking lot so I can use it twice, on the way in and on the way out. The store is clean, lines are short. And then...BETRAYAL. I went to Target on a Saturday and among my purchases were 7 children's books. A very polite young man was scanning my order, and while I was digging for my debit card, I could have sworn I saw him scan one of the children's books and then put it under the register. I shook it off and attributed it to my eyes playing tricks. But as I was leaving the store, I was troubled by what I thought I saw. So before heading out the door, I checked my receipt: yup, 7 children's books. I check my bag: nope. only 6. I double and triple check. I head back to the register. I ask the clerk "Did one of my books get LEFT BEHIND?" He takes a couple glances around, removes the children's book from under the register, and says "Yes. This must have fallen out of your bag." It took me two days to cool off before I contacted Customer Service via their website and tried to explain in my most level-headed manner what happened. I got a canned reply "So sorry you had a bad experience in our store...blah blah blabbity blah." So while I can't give up going to Target, I do try to avoid this store, and ALWAYS watch my items being scanned AND bagged. read more

I've at this target store many times, the location is very easy to get to. This store is huge and it may take you hours to explore and find new things. Overall it's neat, clean and prices are OK. read more

This target never lets me down, the convenience of the garage is everything and more for those extreme weather days. The staff are always pleasant and I always find what I'm looking for, even though I've moved and this target isn't quite in my as it was only 7 mins from me before I will still drive the extra miles to get here, that is how much I love this target! read more

Just left Target with an upset 6 year old. He saved his Tooth Fairy money to buy a Lego set and Wonder Woman invisible jet Lego set. We were shocked to find out that it couldn't be sold until 11/4/15! He is heartbroken. Not a good move Target. Keep it in the back! Only gave the 3 stars from other better shopping trips there. I really enjoy coming to this Target It is always clean and organized. I can find almost everything I need from household items, clothing to beauty items galore. The check out is always quick and smooth. I love the cool escalator for your shopping cart. It is fun to watch it go down. I have stopped by this target several times before going to ikea. It's one of the best targets in the area. They have fresh grocery and plenty of free parking. I've never had a problem with items I need being out of stock. The prices at this target are cheaper than they are in Somerville and Braintree. I would go out of my way to come to this location. The savings are worth it. read more

Target has great picture frames. Went to buy a couple recently and made a mistake. Called up guest services to if there's anything that can be done and the manager was practically rude. The fault was mine, but their attitude really left a bad taste. Hence the one star. read more

Love that this place is near my home. I go here whenever I need to pick up some beauty supplies and home items. They have a huge parking spot so I never have trouble finding somewhere to park. They now carry groceries and fresh fruits, but I find it is over-priced, and that's why I took off one star. I also love that there is a starbucks in here ! read more

It's an impressive building with escalators and such, along with slightly cheaper prices compared to other Targets in the area. Only problem is the management, but it is a HUGE problem. The supervisors in the front are always standing around chit chatting, even when the lines are backed up. One time, myself and about ten other people were in line waiting to be checked out with only two cashiers. The entire time, four of the managers and/or supervisors were just standing in a group behind us talking about what to get their kids for Christmas! On top of that, the way the management treats their employees is simply horrid. I can vividly remember three separate occasions where an employee would make a minor mistake helping me at either the register or service desk, and one of the supervisors right there would intervene, which is to be expected. But every time they would embarrass them, and talk down to them in a nasty way that NO human being deserves to be treated, and right in front of me too! With all my experience as a retail supervisor myself, I understand that these are typical problems to expect. However, considering all the occasions in which these incidents happened, it is clear that no one is addressing any of the them, and thus this behavior is just going to continue. read more

I'm not the hugest fan of big chains like Target and Wal-mart, but I have to admit that this store is pretty boss. It's HUGE- so even if there's tons of people around, you'd barely know it. The store was very clean, too- I'm used to the one in Dorchester where there's always stuff all over the floor. There's actually a pretty decent food selection there too, which kind of surprised me. I love Target but I was screamed at by an angry customer and a Cashier who did not bother to answer the angry customer that I was actually the next customer in line. I was pushed from 1 cashier to the next cashier because they said the customer needs to apply a Target Credit Card and the process will take a little longer. So she told her co-worker who was next to her to make sure she rings me up first and not ring other customers. I grab my stuff quickly and moved over to the cashier and the customer who was not even in the line screamed at me for cutting her! I explained to her that my cashier moved me to this cashier and they are suppose to ring me in first! The cashier did not say anything so I had to grab my stuff again and wait behind them! It's okay I am just angry that the cashier was playing "Mute" and did not speak up for me. She was not doing her job as a Cashier! She deserves to be doing inventory instead or dealing with non-customer relations. At the end the cashier says can't believe she did that to you .....which got me even more pissed! I think Target should have a separate booth for those to apply for a Target Credt card. A couple of self check out express lanes like Shaw's ,IKEA, and Home Depot that provides self check out lanes. The Stoughton Target store is the best I've ever been to. It's a modern (almost brand new) facility with a pretty innovative parking arrangement, partly under the store. I shop here pretty much weekly and spend on average of $100+ each time, so I know the place pretty well. In general, Target is amazing for me because I can get 99% of all my shopping done under one roof, which is a huge time saver. They carry a good variety of brands and the fresh food is nice and fresh. The best feature of this Target is, there can be a ton of people in the store, but it doesn't feel crowded. Perhaps that's due to the store's sheer size, or maybe due to the smart layout. Additionally, the small touches are always done right here. Like the hand wipe dispenser at the store entrance always being stocked full. (Can't say these things about the Target up the road in Dorchester -- that place is a disgraceful zoo). The Starbucks often has very long lines at this store, and a couple of the employees are uber slow, but I won't dock points from a Target due to the Starbucks inside! Overall, I have no major complaints about this Target. It's really a joy to shop here (and I can't believe I'm writing that about any store!) read more

Ok I can't believe I am reviewing a Target store.... but this place just has so many things going for it. Like the Starbucks, underground parking and the gigantic clearance sections. The real secret is its pharmacy. Unlike the big chain pharmacies there's no forty minute wait time. You go in and leave a few minutes later. The staff is so knowledgeable and quick to assist. Lastly, the place is clean and enormous....wear comfortable shoes. read more

I found out about a great clearance deal on a baby item. I went on an inventory checker website for target and saw this location had 6 at the clearance price. I was so excited! I called to see if I could put one on hold until I got out of work and was told they didn't have any. I didn't believe them so I went after work anyway. By the time I got there, their inventory said they had 5 left, so they had at least 1 somewhere that they had sold. They argued with me that they had 0 on hand and it was a mistake. Well this morning there are only 3 in their inventory so this location either has ignorant lazy sales people, or their employees are purchasing this amazing clearance deal and not sharing it with the public. Either way, I'm VERY upset and will not be shopping at this location again. read more
