I love Target and have nothing but nice things to say about the store and it's employees...however, the loitering, the panhandling, and the organizations that loiter outside of Target are starting to make me re-think my love of Target. I go to Target at least 4x a week, and I am always approached. I find it completely inappropriate for organizations collecting $$$ to address me and my daughter by saying "hey pretty lady" or "hey there, pretty little mama". Lately, they have become even more loud and aggressive. Yesterday, I was on the phone with a client, and they still asked me for money. It was rude and disruptive. Sometimes, I will pull in and if I see someone loitering in front of Target-I won't even bother. I go across to Albertsons. read more

I love the store but thank goodness the pharmacy is changing! I have had multiple bad experiences with the pharmacy! They never have any medications in stock. read more

This is directed towards Target and their website not any particular store. This is what happened if I could give them no stars, I would. MAJOR COMPLAINT: In dec I ordered a jean jacket for my husband, on line. THEY sent it to the WRONG address. They put somone else's label on it. Instead of picking it up and resending it back to me, they told me to wait until jan 22 as it was now out of stock. It is now in stock and there is NO SHIPPING on the site to either me or a close by store. The nearest store is 80 miles away and they expect me to go pick it up......after THEY messed up. Are you kidding me? This is ridiculous! I will NEVER order anything from them again. I have talked to TWO different reps and all I get is the run around. And I was very nice until now. They will not make this sale right. SHAME ON YOU AND YOUR BAD SERVICE. I guess customer service is something that you don't believe in at all. read more

They price matched me for a 6 pack of paper mate gel pens that I found online for hair the price!! I didn't know that target participates in price match. read more

Went to Target and saw a dog in the food department. No special service jacket, nothing just a big dog. Asked the manager why a dog is allowed in the food area. He said that they are not allowed to ask a customer if the dog is a service dog or tell them that non service dogs are not allowed in the store. I am thinking of walking a goat or horse or maybe a cow thru the store and see if they are ALLOWED to say anything to me. I don't want to see dog poo in a target store. And these people know the employees will say nothing to them. Really disturbing. Also if you look online for anything the Target website will pop up and say it carries whatever you are looking for. You could say your are looking for a Mercedes and the site would say you can order it. Than you spend ten minutes looking on their website and they don't even have it to order on line. I won't even look on Target website anymore because it is just all a lie. Misrepresented. Think we are fools and if they trick us into going on the site we will just go duh ok I will just buy something else. Treat me like I am stupid and you will go out of business. I really try NOT to shop at these kinds of places. They sucked us in and now we can't escape!!!! Walmart same thing. Soon there will be no shopping and amazon will be our only choice. Get ready.... read more

I always find what I need in this place. And it's a lot cleaner than Trash-Mart. Now that there are 2 in this town. The one that just opened looks junky. But enough about that Chinese-junk infested store. Until a better store comes around, I'll continue shopping at Target, decent products, toys, etc. read more

I'd like to start off by saying that I am a frequent shopper here. I'm here at least 3 times a week. I've had coffee at the Starbucks location inside the store with minimal issues but today was unlike anything else. There was only three people in front of me so I stayed in line. The person ordering is a target team member, I can tell by the red and khaki, and has about a 5 minute long conversation with 3 Starbucks team members huddled behind the cash register. Unprofessional. Next, the girl making the drinks is shaking a green tea, and it explodes everywhere. I was shocked. Next, after waiting nearly 10 minutes just to order, I was again disappointed. I can clearly tell the girl behind the counter is either new or from a different department with her red and khaki under her Starbucks apron. I order my usual iced coffee and she asks if I want it flavored. I asked to have caramel sweetener. I saw that she charged me .35 cents for something that is clearly stated as a part of the drink. First of all, that is price inaccuracy. It's absolutely dishonest and makes me wonder if this Starbucks is taking advantage of the customers they get. Second, had I known I would have been inconveniently charged for a FREE addition, I would have gone to the real Starbucks just a few steps away. I'm sure I would have been treated with a lot more respect at that location since I wasn't even asked how I was doing! What a disappointment in my guest experience! So furthermore I'm giving one star because I have to but I would definitely give zero stars if I could. I'm hesitant to give this location another shot and may just use the Starbucks a few steps away from now on. read more

So my wife's purse gets stolen today at 11:45, I get a fraud text that someone in this Target is trying to charge 3100.00 and it was rejected. I call my wife who says it was stolen while eating at Panera Bread. I then contacted 4 other creditors that say the same store has tried to charge those cards for amounts of 2100.00 or more all stopped by my fraud protection. I contact the manager "Remi Standow" who says they have a strict policy of asking for ID on purchases over 250.00 dollars. She just told me "Sorry" this happened and we will look into it. 5 cards over 2100.00 dollars and they don't know what teller or tellers didn't ask for ID. Looks like the criminals know where to go where they don't check ID's feels like an inside job? No Help from Target! Simi PD is investigating! Not one apology from "Remi" read more

The stupid store operator never answers my calls. I try to Get information on how to apply for a job, but they hang up on me. The products they sell are great but the service sucks. I would say most of the staff seems ok except for the "store operator" You can't not answer the phone call of a customer. read more

I really try not to shop here only cause of the employees from the corporate office to store level help. Save your self the frustration go any where else. Problem was with a return and had the receipt my son paid cash and used $20.00 Visa gift card. Would not return the cash said they could not do more then one transaction would only give store credit. Tried calling store manager Hugo several times was never available called to speak with district manager and I was only able to leave a voice mail still no call back. ABSOLUTE JOKE read more

I live in the neighborhood and my family shops this target practically daily. I've never had a bad experience here until recently. The volume of homeless loitering and panhandling has grown to an unbearable level. Last evening, a man blocked me in to my parking spot while I was getting my daughter out of our car. He repeatedly asked for money and when I told him no and said he needed to back off, he became argumentative. This while his buddies sat on the bench in front of the store reserved for paying customers, smoking and loitering. We used to walk here in the evening but the smell of urine in the adjacent alcove became more than I wanted my family exposed to. I'm afraid this store has demonstrated that they no longer care for their customers by allowing this activity to continue. read more

Most of the time I have a great experiences at this location in Simi Valley..however one experience left me really upset. Long story short I ask to speak to a manager because the signage on some clothes was not matching the price at the register...I even went back to take pictures of the signage so she wouldn't have to leave the front-The conversation that followed included the manager talking down to me in a belittling manner- I was a manager at a retail store for five years so I understand how difficult dealing with customers can be but this was unacceptable. I tried being nice, I let other customers go in front of me while discussing the issue so I wouldn't be holding up the line , and went out of my way to take a picture. I'm not usually one to write bad experiences but this one upset me so much that I now try to shop at the Madera location to avoid it. read more

The sale staff at this target and other targets don't know correct information on the products they are selling at the store. They give their costumes completely wrong information on all products, even more so when it comes to electronics. Be careful what you get and review the correct information before you buy anything at any target store, to ensure you're getting what you want. read more

I was at Target today Thursday, November 24, 2016 at 11:30PM. I wanted to do a price adjustment on an item. The Supervisor named Shannon told me that she could not do that at the return line. Ok, so I went to the regular lines and bought the item, and then used my original receipt to return. She said, you can't do that. You would have to come another day. That makes no sense at all. I said, I could have just bought and return from the beginning, and you would have no problem with it. This is absolutely not a big deal, she didn't have to give all that attitude from something like this. She knows she could have gone ahead and done it without all the drama, but she wanted to power trip a bit. I hate it when people do that on purpose. If she would of just said, normally we don't do this, but we will do it this time. I would have been okay, and not write a review. But, she had to make that drag out for ten minutes for no reason. You know you have to give in anyway. I would just walk out of the store and walk back in and do the return. There you go, I came back another time. Just ridiculous. Pissed off a client for no reason. Horrible supervisor. Power trip on your employees not customers for small petty things. Goodnight. read more

I went to the target website to provide feedback there instead of rating but couldn't for who knows why. I LOVE Target and shop there often, most of the time my experiences are great, today wasn't as great. Terri helped us at the checkout and she truly HATES her job. She seems absolutely miserable and made our experience not ideal, she was short, emotionless and genuinely seemed put off to be dealing with customers. It could certainly have been a bad/off day today but if this is normal she might want to consider Not working in customer service. read more

I really appreciate the great customer service and great communication from this pharmacy! They are always pleasant and helpful, they are consistently accurate with my prescriptions, they text me reminders and to let me know to pick up my refills, and last night I brought in my 3 Rx just before they closed--I told them I could pick them up the next day--and they insisted they would get them ready just then. Convenience, courtesy, and competence wins my business. Thank you. read more

One of my favorite places to just run to in the area. It's close and prices are pretty good. Fun to look at make up and clothes. They do let the inventory go way too low on many items. read more

The store itself isn't bad, it's an older Target. But I don't understand why they cannot do anything about the panhandlers who are starting up again in front and on the outskirts of the parking lot. Simi Valley supposedly passed an "anti-panhandling law" and got rid of skid row that existed at the adjacent building, but they need to try a little harder--it's starting up again. read more

I went to exchange items. The manager, Shannon, said that I can't exchange items that are 15 or less. I only had 10 items. She just said that they do not normally do exchanges and that they were busy. BTW I did not have a line behind me. I was the only person she was helping. She said I will do it just this once. She was huffing and puffing. She did not bag my stuff. Really!?! Try taking customer service classes. Your a manager. You need to have great customer skills. It's not a hard job. read more

I sent this to the employees GM So I posted this so I can share my great experience I Wanted to share with you the cell phone sales experience we had with two of your wonderful Target employees, Sky and Art Last Thursday my wife visited your store on Cochran st in Simi Valley to look at i phones. Sky helped her and treated her like she mattered as a valued customer, unlike the 2 visits her and i had at the sprint store, even though she was not going to make a commitment to buy a phone at that time. Sky told her how we should have been offered similar plans by the Sprint store snd possible other benefits. Hearing this infuriated me since i had been a customer for almost 3 yrs. nevertheless i called Sky that evening to ask more questions. He was very patient confident and reassuring to some of my concerns. At that point i made my decision to buy from Sky. I asked if he gets credit for the sale because i am in the sales business myself. And i felt based on the amount of time he spent, he deserved the credit. After some hesitation he told me yes but anybody else could help me. He further stated that if it helped the target team, was all that mattered. So i insisted i come to see him specifically. The word integrity comes to mind when dealing with Sky and that is hard to come by nowadays. So we bought our phones yesterday and the help we got from Sky was nothing short of great. Art his colleague also stepped into help. He was very nice and informative as well. So i would say that they complimented one another as a team After we left the store there were some data issues so i spoke to Art when i got home but we needed to go back to the store for help. Art helped us wonderfully. Not only did he resolve the problems he did so on his personal time since the department was closing for the evening. I apologized for infringing on his time but he kept reassuring me it was not a problem and glad he could resolve our problems You have two truly model and exemplary employees that should be recognized for their outstanding service They are certainly an asset to you organization and i ask that this memo be put in their personnel files and that you share this with them to And of course i will highly recommend anybody i know to either of these gentlemen read more

I'm OK with the Target stores in Simi Valley, but I am very disappointed with what happened with the Target pharmacy which was sold to CVS, a greed oriented, problematic company that has multiple, serious ongoing lawsuits. Target, don't you have enough problems of your own without taking in this awful pharmacy? The CVS pharmacy dropped the $4-10 generic discount program that I so badly need. I am not going to pay $11.00 or even $7.17 for a generic medication that I have historically only paid $4.00 for. The CVS attitude is not nearly as cordial as the Target one. I was glad to see that some of the old Target pharmacy staff was still there, but they have to be CVS people now and that is very sad. I am now using the Walmart Pharmacy on Tapo Street which still has the wonderful $4.00 to $10.00 generic discount program. Currently, I have no reason to go into Target on a monthly basis and as a result, I don't buy as much of the other Target products as I used to. Having a CVS pharmacy in a Target store is a very bad idea as far as I'm concerned. Good Luck Target, you are probably going to need it! read more

Love Target, but I've noticed this location doesn't have many things kept in stock. I've seen carts left out in the middle of aisles with no employees around to put the items away. It's a bit annoying to have to push the carts out of my way to make room for mine. Some employees seem to just not care. I was in a couple weeks ago about twenty minutes from closing time and heard a little girl crying for her mom. There was an employee walking around on his phone. Saw the mom walking around looking for her daughter, and as she passed by the employee, he said, "I think there's a girl crying over there." She asked him what section and he just shrugged and waved his hand in the direction. You would think that he would have looked for the child and brought her up to the front, especially since it was so close to closing time. Also, I've called multiple times to ask if they had something in stock in the store to be put on hold for less than thirty seconds and told that they don't have it. Went into the store and found what I was looking for, but it would've been nice if they actually did their jobs. read more
