I have a love-hate relationship with this target location. They always seem to have things in stock that I'm needing and wanting however, their drive up is the worst. I will literally sit here for 20 minutes plus and yes, I could get out of my car and go in and do my own shopping in that amount of time but sometimes when I have five kids in the car and a baby sleeping, it's a lot more convenient to obviously do the drive up and they have it for a reason so I try and utilize it when I can, but it's just frustrating and a lot of the staff will be like standing around talking to each other and it just doesn't seem like they have trained their staff efficiently at this location because the location on Rejada is always quick. The staff is so nice. They seem super organized. They're in and out so I don't know what's going on at this location, but I'm always waiting a really long time for things and sometimes it's in the middle of the day. It's super late at night. It's not like I'm coming during their busiest hours. read more

I frequent this target location a lot because of the convenience of it being near my workplace. However, today's interaction with an associate made me want to choose a different location despite this convenience. My son, husband and I enjoy Pokemon cards. We collect and rip packs as a family. But because of the increase of scalpers and resellers, it has been extremely difficult to purchase these cards at retail. Target sometimes has these drops and unfortunately, scalpers will get ahead and buy out everything. This morning I arrived at this target location early morning in hopes of getting some Pokemon cards for my son, and one other woman was also waiting. The cashier tells the person he is assisting about the line earlier was for Pokemon cards. He continues to say "I hate it all so much honestly" and continues to complain about it to his customer. As the woman and I stood there waiting for said pokemon card availability in which he hates so much. The customer asks the employee what the fuss is about Pokemon cards to which I chimed in and said "Well my son loves ripping packs and we do it as a family." It's really disheartening that a family's hobby brings so much hate to an employee that they feel they have to complain about it openly in front of others. I understand the hobby can bring a lot of customers to your job but to talk about how much you hate it, openly in front of genuine people who actually enjoy the hobby who are not scalpers -- is beyond disappointing. God forbid families have hobbies and have to compete with scalpers to be able to enjoy the hobby. read more

The guy working in the electronics department does not know what he is doing. He asked me if I would like to purchase AppleCare with my new MacBook Neo. I asked, " I don't need to buy that at the time of purchase do I?"...I asked that knowing that you can purchase it up to 2 months after the time of purchase.. but the guy confidently said "No you must purchase it now" I said "no thanks I'm good I want to review my credit card coverage with Amex before I decide anyway." But wow cmon man, get someone there that knows some basics when selling Apple products. People depend on being told the truth. I went in to return a lego set the same day I bought it because it was missing some of the bags. I was told I cannot return it because it was missing pieces. YEA, I know, that's why I'm returning it. I've come to this father a couple times before for drive ups, they're fairly quick and have most to all of my items in stock usually. I really appreciate this cause after a long day at work it's nice to be able to just pick them up. The produce is usually always fresh, if not they are quick to refund online. Not a big parking lot but there's always plenty of parking and I think it's because this target has terrible customer service. Everyone seems annoyed to have a customer in line. No thank yous, how are yous, no your welcomes when you say thank you. Just uncomfortable silence. The store is in pretty good shape and stocked, but again I think it's because not a lot of people frequent this location. Makes 3-5 business days from Amazon seem not so bad. read more

Sorry, but not a fan of this Target store. The parking lot seems inadequate for the size of the store, for starters. Even with dropping in on a Sunday evening and not having to fight for a a space, it's a wonky layout for parking. Once inside the store, Dear Hubby and I had to find a team member to ask for the items we were looking for, as the grocery / sundries area didn't seem to be very intuitive. We walked out with only some of what we intended to buy because the options were limited, or frankly, poor choices. Bread Machine Yeast - nope. Didn't have it. I bought an approximate substitute, and keeping my fingers crossed that it will work. Larger storage containers for food, capable of going in the freezer - lacking name brands, and what they did have was cheap quality. Skipped this entirely, going to have to order online. We have been making soup and want to be able to keep some on the fridge / freeze the rest, but Target didn't help on the storage container front. Boxed broth - they did have some options, but not necessarily at a great price. I can see why their membership store competition wins on this item. I just bought one. I was checking out options for vegan / non-dairy items like cheeses, dips, etc. Almost nothing to speak of available in the refrigerated cases. Disappointing. We were on a speed shopping timeline, so I didn't linger or check out other items. Noticed that they had an end cap in cosmetics that was 100% empty. That's a poor use of valuable selling space, and obviously wasn't appealing. They did have some cute spring items in home accessories, but I didn't take the time to browse there. Kudos for having a number of check stands open, so short lines to pay. Didn't have much to pay for because of the lack of options for the items we were there to try to purchase. My bf and I have been on a little adventure this weekend since we never have anything at the Target locations nearby, so we drove out to this one to see what kind of inventory they had for Pokemon Cards and Figures and we were very surprised! Parking lot is pretty big, a little packed when we went. We immediately went to the Pokemon Card section by the registers and were very surprised to see how much they had! They were extremely stocked and it was so nice and satisfying to see. The pokemon figures were a little lacking, they didn't have much but that's okay. It was still nice to see a whole section of cards basically untouched. Definitely going to be visiting this location more often and in such a beautiful city overlooking the valley! Very annoyed with this location. Never order to fill the items that are out of stock. I have come in 3 times in the last month and no Johnsonville mild sausage, ground or links. This is the closest location that carries it. Last time I had to ask someone, they looked lost, then asked another employee who she should call. He said said qould get it then 20 minutes later I ask an employee stocking and he said he would look right when someone finally asked him to look. What is going on here? I also was looking to buy an item and sportswear and my size still hasn't been reordered in a month. This target is located in Central Simi Valley near Trader Joe. Ample amount of Parking except for holidays were even the far spots are taken. The store is pretty clean and relatively well organized. If you are seeking help, you could be waiting as staff is far and few on the floor. Customer service is always very help and tend to be efficient in getting through line. Store has everything you would need. With that said the target on Madera in Simi Valley offers more! Also my preferred target in town! Both targets have Starbucks so you get your caffeine fix! I would say one of the biggest draw backs at store is there is often people outside selling or asking for money. This Target seems a little smaller than the one I usually go to but I found parking alright because I came in the morning. Saw a lot of Funko Pops for different prices for the same product. I'm not a collector but was doing some holiday shopping and noticed it. I think the store is dirty and the layout is a little different from the ones I go to. The restroom for the men's is very dirty with no toilet paper in the stall; not even in the reserves. I found so many different hand baskets in most places so if you forget to get one in the front you'll find it deep within the store (very handy; lol), thank you. Bought two gifts and the prices were very reasonable. First time and last time at this location. Don't live in this city and found it when I went to Starbucks in the same parking lot. Sat Oct 11th around 330pm I visited the pharmacy requesting aleve d. The pharmacist couldn't find it and was pointed location where it should be. She tried to hand me advil D. I told her book I need aleve in the blue box, when a nice girl behind her tries to talk to me about it and the pharmacist very rudely shuts her up and yells at me IM THE PHARMACIST which upsets me and tell her let het explain and then yells at me again tell me its the same and tried to force me to accept it. This behavior towards her staff and customers standing around is unacceptable in any position of public health. I have my reasons why I wanted aleve not advice and she forcing me to accept something that could potentially harm me. I told her her attitude is horrible and I will bot take it. And I walked away. I went to the manager of target and left my information for a call back and I didnt not get a call back. That pharmacist should not be allowed to act how she did and especially treat her staff in that manner. read more

I have been going to this Target for years and cashiers have always been nice and helpful. My issue is with the Customer service I had a question about the promo of buy 3 items and get a $10 GC and was told well I bought the wrong type of Tide detergent. That I should have looked at the details. When she showed me where the details are it did NOT say that the pods were not part of the deal either in the APP nor in the sign advertising the deal. So she walked away back to her counter and ignored me. I tried to get her attention to thank her for her help and suggest that the details be more clear but she just looked down at her phone and ignored me. This was Saturday 9/13. @ 3:20pm. I went to this target location in October of last year to see if there is any new toys out and I saw a few new toys in the store when I checked to see if they had any toys that were related to the newest Disney movie Moana 2 there was only a few toys there I was hoping to see more but this was all they had when I looked into the doorables section I noticed new Star Wars doorables wide screen moments and I decided to get one of them and get the other one at the Moorpark target location the first one that I got was the mandalorian and the child and the other one I got was grogu's farewell ever since now grogu is my favorite Star Wars character I also have the Star Wars doorables galaxy peek set I checked to see if they had any more stuff that is related to Disney wish which was Disney's 62 film and they had not so much stuff from this movie but I like the store anyway read more

Every time I come here, they're always out of so much stuff. The last straw for me was when I went through the other night to purchase some plastic containers. My son wanted a gift card gave me cash to pay for it but the sales guy said I had to pay with a credit which I thought was weird since most kids buy these gift cards and don't have a credit card. So we got home only to find out the gift card didn't work so we went back the next day to complain even speaking to the manager who was completely useless and no help at all telling us that now we have to call Apple and go through them. I even told them that it was weird that the guy made us use a credit card to pay for a gift card. He just laughed and thought it was funny. I probably never go back there again. I'm glad I got rid of my red card a couple of years ago. Their prices are too expensive anyways I find better deals at Walmart. So we just called Apple tonight to try to get things situated and found out that part of the code is missing and the sleeve that it came in we needed that and the sales person must've thrown it out in the trash. It's obvious they must have some really stupid people working for them over there. read more

I have been to my local Target many times and EVERY SINGLE time the Female restroom has been a PIG PEN. They seem to check off that someone has cleaned the restroom, but that person/persons is not doing their job and lying. Yesterday, I had to take my 4 year old grandson to the bathroom. We went inside and my grandson said, "Nana, this place is dirty and there are too many germs.' Now, with that came out of a 4 year olds mouth, you can bet the restroom is dirty, not cleaned and discussing. I spoke to the Store Manager and he didn't say a thing, but my husband saw him telling another male associate and started laughing. If this is how Management is trained, then a different training program is needed. That interaction was rude! We waited a few minutes and NO ONE went into the bathroom to check of clean. This is totally unacceptable an just WRONG! I would hope they clean that bathroom correcting going forward! read more

I love Tar-jay, you just have to say it with a faux french accent. All the witty mugs, hand sanitizer coming outta their ears. So many disinfecting wipes, omg tp, I just can't believe it. They have it all folks, they really do. We were looking for a pack of q-tips that wasn't the 1,000 pack, no luck. But, otherwise, got our various paper products, nightlights, salami, vaseline( sad chapped hands from so much hand washing), and we gtfo of there. This store generally always has things in stock. It's staff is amazing. If you need help they are friendly. Check out lines long you ask? Nope! They see a lot of people in line they open others quickly. Management all get to know you if you shop there often. It's a clean and bright store. I love going there. I feel safe and I feel like I am sort of a part of the Target family. It's parking lot is one of the easier ones to go to. They have plenty of cart returns. Most Targets don't have a whole bunch. I appreciate that this one does. Helps me not have to struggle to put carts in their proper place. I don't want to leave it free to roam into someone's vehicle. I like this Target. I order online and have shopped in the store. Its clean, laid out nicely and always has what I need. Right now they have my Folgers black silk on sale for 6.99 the 24 oz. Had to stock up at this price, plus there is going to be a coffee shortage soon, and I need my coffee! The employees here are nice and actually seem to care, unlike some other Target's. I always end up spending too much here, that is why I prefer to order online and go straight to the pick up counter. Plenty of parking too. read more

I stared at him blankly, as I thought back to the conversation I just had with my friend about this location's in-stock being terrible. He then mentioned customer service lacking there, which this place actually excelled at. 1.5 stars, rounded up for customer service on the sales floor as well as from my chatty, funny cashier. -10 points for the messiness in the store- empty displays, broken Sterilite tubs in Housewares. I prefer shopping here,rather than ross.For the most part this store is kept clean and organized.What I've noticed is that the people who shop at ross have tendency to open the packages and at target they don't. Maybe it's mentality that the products or merchandize is second hand,not the case.Not the case. Items such as clorax cleaning supplies, sanitizing wipes and everything else that had been non-existent during COVID were available at this Target. The store manager MELISSA has a disgusting attitude and the workers don't fall far behind. I guess that speak to company culture as most target employee seem to have the same attitude when you bother them by trying to shop in their store. My wife and I tired to ad match a product that we found cheaper in a local Walmart ad. Upon showing the ad to the clerk she said that I made the ad up myself personally and that the sell was a lie and they would not honor that!!!! Confused by this I left the store without the product, but then decided that it may be a good idea to call and get some clarity on the policy from the actual store manager. Huge mistake!!!!!!! Let's just say I had to call 3 times and was hung up on twice simply for asking questions about their policy and gain an understanding for future visits. There will be none to this store. And don't bother trying to complain! I called corporate to file a complaint and they sent it to the same store manager I have the issue with.... yeah thanks for nothing!
