Seems like just about everything here is locked up so you are continually looking for another helper to unlock for you. Limited groceries but good selections in most other departments. I do not enjoy shopping here. The parking is terrible, everybody vying for that one open spot. The lanes are tight. The store is nuts just before Christmas. I could deal with that if they had a better selection. It's not good, and there's not enough variety. They don't even have fruitcake or Russell Stover candies for Christmas, which is inexcusable. The "grocery" section has the bare minimum only, and the prices are higher than QFC and Fred Meyer. I only went here because I received a $50 gift card, but that's it. read more

This is hands down one of the worst Targets in Seattle. The store is completely disorganized.. aisles are messy, products are misplaced, and it feels like nobody is managing the floor. The workers seemed miserable and unhelpful, and some were flat-out rude when I asked for assistance. Almost everything is locked up, but good luck finding anyone around to actually open it for you. I'm leaving this review today not as a testament of my experience but as a WARNING. There's a specific employee. Do I know his name? No. Do I wish I did? Also no, because I would've reported him by now. All I know is: curly hair. Tall. Brown. That's it. I politely asked him to open up a case in the beauty section, and suddenly this man decided to audition for "America's Next Top Commentator." He looks me dead in my soul and says, "Your lace front is lifting." Be so for real right now. Then, as if he hadn't already spiritually ended me, he asks if I need help finding the deodorant section. BABE??? I smell like Bath & Body Works' "Warm Vanilla Sugar," not 3 business days of despair. Let's be clear. I found this whole interaction very displeasing, unprofessional, and frankly too bold for a man making minimum . Like be fr, focus on those online orders before you focus on me. And let's set the record STRAIGHT, my  lace front was only lifting a LITTLE BIT. Not his business!!! He should be more worried about his minimum wage and split ends. CLOCK IT!! #GAGGY And yes I WILL be coming back. Not because I want to, but because I need to show his words do NOT affect me. I'm the main character, he's the filler episode. PERIOD!! As someone who deals with anxiety and depression, this interaction made me feel worse... but also stronger. Rude employees and horrible customer service. Their bathroom wasnt clean and their shelves were a huge mess!

I used to frequent this Target before COVID. After Jan 2020, I didn't return until Feb 2025. I just got so used to buying stuff online. So, I went back and probably visited about four times between Feb-March. The store has gone downhill. The first visit in February, I noticed that things are not as organized. It is not quite chaos, but still not well taken care of. While checking out in the self-check lane, a teenager was next to me with a batch of credit cards. He was randomly trying cards to purchase a bottle of Coke and a bag of chips. The credit cards were clearly stolen. A security guard came over and grabbed all of the cards out of the kids hand. He just laughed and walked out of the store with the items. I was also not impressed with the food section. I used to go to Target to get all kinds of GF foods. They have almost nothing left now. On the next trip to Target, the same kid with a couple of friends was hanging out in front of Target, walking in and out of the store. Nothing was done to stop them. On another trip, same thing. Also, I noticed the store is kind of dirty too. There is also a shortage of staff members. Last trip, same thugs are running around the store. No one seems to be doing anything to stop them. I was shopping for some skin care items (a LOT of stuff in the health and beauty isles is under lock and key now). I was trying to find someone who could help me and noticed that I was getting followed by someone who was clearly a plain-clothes' security guard. She followed me around and stood really too close while I was shopping. This went on for about twenty minutes. Most of the shoplifting and thuggery in that store is carried out by teenagers and homeless people. I haven't been a teenager for three decades and I am obviously not a homeless person. I wasn't carrying a large bag or tote. I wasn't wearing anything with big pockets. This stupid woman was practically breathing down my neck for twenty minutes while a group of teenage thugs were pacing around the store. So, the store doesn't have enough help, it is not well organized, maintained or cleaned. It is also dangerous. And the security is moronic. The only security guard who was helpful was the guy who took the credit cards away from one of the thugs on my first 2025 trip. Lastly, it is really inconvenient to shop for items when so many items are locked away and staff members are so few. This probably isn't going to change unless the shoplifting in that store improves. That isn't likely if the moron who followed me around is any indicator. I will not visit this store again. read more

Bathroom is very stinky and not flushed 80% of the time. Always out of seat covers, and no paper towels to dry hands. One time I saw poop in the toilet and all over the floor in the family restroom. Worker apparently told me my airpods are the wrong serial code or whatever when they clearly were the same when I was trying to return them. I only own one pair of airpods so this cannot happen. Did not allow me to price match and save me $20. I keep getting charged a random 80 cents for a bag (sometimes even none) when I place a pickup order, and only one time a worker was nice enough to refund it to me automatically. There has been two times where I have been refused entry because of something along the lines of "no students allowed before 4 pm" which is extremely stupid. Another time where I was with my friend, I was already inside the store and at the makeup section and here comes a male worker telling me we have to leave which I am assuming is for the same reason. Do I look 10 years old to you? Am I causing a scene in the store and being dangerous? I'm supporting this damn store and buying your product and you want me out of the store for no reason other than that? I felt watched and just bought my items and left. read more

I have to leave a rave review for Jeremiah, who helped me last night at the West Seattle Target. Jeremiah is a kind, hard-working employee who was such an incredible spokesperson for Target. If he is not on track to get a raise or promotion he should be! I don't normally download apps put out by large corporations but after talking to him is was persuaded to get the Target app! That skill of encouraging customer's to invest further in a company is not a skill that everyone has and will help Jetemiah go far in life. I find this store has more missed Marked items/product all the time. Just be careful about when you pick up something if it says it on sell screenshot it with your camera because when you get to the checkstand, you might have to fight with them on if the price scans up wrong. I took a picture of a sell tag and upon checking out the product rang for 4.00 dollars more than the tag on the shelf! The checker refused to reduce the price so I left my items there and went to find a manager! She was no help either! Said the store has the right to say if they want to fix it or not. So I said fine! And left! And self checkout is pretty much all they offer! read more

Employees avoid helping customers in the tech section like the plague... Everytime I make a trip to the tech section, you can have a team member call for the tech person, or you can press the help button on a kiosk. Both times, the tech person stands in the toys department and pretends they can't hear it. I can literally hear the alert coming from their walkies. I have to walk up to the tech person and ask him to unlock something for me. Joshua really took his sweet time walking to the tech department, unlocking the product, and then ringing me up. Well, I've been a Target customer since I was a kid. Of course this isn't the best store I've been to (like Puyallup or Northgate), but it is definitely nicer than the one in Downtown Seattle, LOL. I'm kind of a nervous driver, but I find it really easy to get to this location and I think the parking lot is great. They have tons of spots and they are reasonably sized. I tend to park far away from the front door, but I've never had any issues here. This Target has all of the standard stuff including a Starbucks and a fresh food section. Yes, they do tend to run out of seasonal stuff like Christmas decorations, but I just try to go shop early! I've always had a pretty chill experience here. The employees are not overly friendly and they won't talk to you unless you flag one down, but I'm ok with that. For checkout, I just use the self-checkout machines. They are really easy to use and I've seen employees wiping them down after each customer. read more

Target, like all the cooperations, have increased the prices so high that it's actually laughable considering how much they pay their employees. The front end staff is rude for no reason. My sister and I were out doing errands when she decided to stop to pick up a couple of things at this Target location. I walked in with her because I wanted to replenish and add a few bottles of bourbon to her collection. The liquor was locked up, and I'm okay with that. Unfortunately, there was no "Target button" to alert the staff you'd like to buy something locked up. I had to hunt down a loss prevention (security) employee who said she'd return with a key. A few minutes pass, and I find another employee who says she'll call someone to unlock the cabinet. Security finally came back with keys that did not open the cabinet. Seriously? She had to run back to the front of the store to get different keys. She got a few yards away, and I told her that's okay, don't worry about it. Here's my issue. The store lost about $500 with my purchase, which is nothing for Target. If you're locking up items, have a plan to make it seem less for customers to buy, or they'll go somewhere else where it's easier to purchase. read more

My friends and I, are within the age range of 16 and 17. As you all may know, many kids from Chief Sealth and Denny's Middle School come to Westwood to roughhouse and trash the area. However, my friends and I don't go there. We went into Target and were instantly given looks. There was a security guard up on front and we instantly got bad vibes. Vibes that told us We weren't welcome here. But we continued shopping and looking around. We made it to the bedroom and bath section when we noticed a guy on an electric scissor lift fixing the ceiling. We paid no mind and continued to look around. We made it to the plushy's section and laughed at the way the plushy's looked and put them back. We then went over to the room organization aisle when we suddenly got approached by a bodyguard. He told us that, "we have a guy on a lift right now and he can see you guys messing around." We were very confused. We hadn't done any "messing" around that they were talking about. He asked us if we understood and we were like, "cool." He replied, "not cool, okay." We were confused. "Do you guys know what y'all did?" We shook our heads, we had no idea "what we did." The security guard then asked the guy on a walkie-talkie about what we did and relayed the message, "he says y'all we're throwing stuff around." We were flabbergasted. If throwing stuff around means picking an item, laughing at it and putting it back down, I wouldn't want to stay in this store any longer. The security guard threatened to kick us out and said we were "acting dumb" when in reality, were being accused of doing an act that we didn't even commit. Another lady came along and stated, "we can't have you guys here from 8-4." She was insinuating people our age, minors. They assumed we were from the schools nearby and that we were causing trouble, which is absurd. Cause we weren't doing anything of the sort. We left after that, we couldn't believe what we heard. As we walked away, the security guard turned to the lady and said out loud, "I gave them the chance to admit what they've done, but they played dumb." We did nothing. We did absolutely nothing. We were stereotyped and discriminated against. This is ageism. We weren't bothering any other customers, we were minding our own business and simply shopping. But that's not what they thought. When the lady mentioned that "we couldn't be in the store from 8-4," that was the craziest thing I've ever heard. How were we supposed to know that us, teenagers, weren't allowed to enter Target between the hours 8-4. That isn't common knowledge and there's no sign explicitly stating, "MINORS NOT ALLOWED FROM 8-4." It's just a Target. What is the big deal? We were all people of color if that makes the situation better! Never in my life have I been threatened to be kicked out of Target for simply hanging out with my friends and shopping. Stereotypes, stereotypes. That's all I can say to describe this situation. We were stereotyped as kids from Chief Sealth/Denny's and were accused of messing and throwing stuff around. And even if we were from those schools, what difference does that make? We weren't causing any trouble. We weren't even laughing loudly. Words can't explain the feelings I have as of now. When will society stop putting a label and creating these false accusations on us? Probably not anytime soon because all kids are the same, right? Wrong. That's very wrong. For the people under 18, I hope you know that Target isn't a safe place anymore. Especially if you're a person or color. Cause we did absolutely nothing plausible to getting ourselves almost kicked out. "Expect More, Pay Less," yeah that was never true. I had high expectations going into Target. I was going to find an organization cube for my closet to make it all cute and clean. However, that whole situation ruined my mood. I never thought the day would come that I'm done with Target, but here we are. Second time I've gone there for baby formula and waited 45 minutes for someone to open the cabinet. FOURTY FIVE MINUTES. Two trips to the service desk to ask for help. When the person comes with the key, they don't give a sh!t that it took so long. They also now lock up their LAUNDRY DETERGENT. No, no, no. Just no. This Target is so sad and lackluster and in need of a remodel in every single way. The locations down south are so much bigger, and cleaner, and more "sparkly", and laid out better. My friends who live in West Seattle rarely go here because it's "stressful" - I used to live in this neighborhood and I was the same way. I did visit recently and now that I know how heavenly a Target can be (thank you Puyallup!!) I am telling you West Seattle-ites, you're missing out and it's not fair to you! The parking lot is a nightmare. The aisles are too small in every turn, including in front of the store. I've almost been hit by a car because people do not want to put their foot on the brake (i.e. are jerks) Customer service area is hidden in this awful, dark corner filled to the brim with returns. It's so stressful to even walk into, with long lines, I cannot imagine working behind that counter. Bless those souls. The floor is white but it isn't... ya know. It's not dirty but it looks like it. The aisles are too small for 2 carts to pass comfortably. The layout is not easy to navigate. There is no pretzel or Pizza Hut or popcorn area. The check out lines are so far back they overlap the ones behind them. At the end of the check out aisles? Nothing to look at.. a big red wall. Terrifying if you think about it. Still very happy with this suburban-like Target in comparison to the downtown location. This year I really appreciated the holiday decor selection at this location because the one downtown is tragic. The fresh food and grocery selection is also much more vast. I got meat there for super cheap and they weren't out of everything. It was also nice to be able to move around more freely without being in someone's way. And aisles weren't torn apart by careless tourists. read more

Just moved around the area and needed some home supplies and kitty litter. I came by on a Sunday afternoon around 1. Obviously the weekends will be busier than normal. This target is located in a major shopping plaza, so there will be many cars going in and out. The parking lot is smaller than most targets. Like your traditional targets, they'll have everything you need. This store seemed a bit more dim than the others for whatever reason. I felt like the aisles were a bit tighter here too. I didn't get to interact with any associates until i was ready to check out. The gal at the register was very friendly and had a positive attitude. Don't forget to bring your bags if you have them. Went in to look for a wallet, couldn't find a style I was interested in and while I was leaving found the front end staff to be very harsh to other customers in the store a security guard or officer came up to two ladies and had asked them to stop looking at him. I came here at 7:30 am because I needed new shoelaces after my rabbit at mine. They had no shoelaces at all.... I couldn't wait until nearby stores opened at 8 because my first class starts at 8. I thought Target was the kind of place to get emergency shoelaces before school but I guess not this one. Now I'll have to go about my day with the long shoelaces I removed from my hiking boots at home. Would not recommend hoping to find what you're looking for at this store. I have been going to this Target since it first opened. It has gone down hill rapidly in the last few years. It is a haven for shoplifters now. Some good employees, but to many who are just going thru the motions, unfriendly, will look right through you like you don't exist. Been to this target twice in the past 4 days. First time, was on a weekday early shortly after they opened. Upon entering, was greeted with "good morning" from one of the employees. Like the store already. Many of the staff were busy restocking shelves. There were more staff than customers. At least two other employees said good morning and asked if I was finding everything ok and offered assistance. Got everything I needed and used the self checkout (with the aid of another friendly employee). Second visit was on a weekday late afternoon, employees must have been tired, no interaction but still very approachable. Great service all around. read more

I realize this is a big, Wal-Mart like store, so I have to keep the bar low. However, this Target is probably the most frustrating Target I have ever entered due to the checkout lines. I have never seen more than 3 open at a time, and it doesn't matter if people are spilling out into the aisle, management WON'T open another line. Lame! That is poor customer service all the way around. I am a person who enjoy shopping, but going to this Target is a last resort. I only come here when QFC doesn't have something and it is a last minute need because I know that every single time I go here, there will be a 10-15 minute wait in line, even during non-peak hours. Other than the lines, they have a very limited selection of pretty much everything. Instead of doing a few things well, they do several things poorly. Additionally, if you need help from an associate, good luck. I don't know if there are staffing issues here, but Westwood Village is surrounded by places that sell the exact same thing for about the same price. I have to buy black pants for work and it was a bit pricey but I needed it none the less. And employee helped me get it down with a coupon. Now I'm on the app for target to get more deals. This Target is about average for their stores. Pluses: It's normally pretty easy to find whatever you are looking for. I usually go here as a back-up (because it's close to me), but won't do the majority of my shopping there because of their price (which are higher than surrounding stores), but they are great for last minute things. They rarely run out of stock on things, so that is good too. Minuses: The parking lot is almost always crowded. I find that there are rarely enough cashiers, so I end up waiting a bit. They usually only have about 30% of their lanes open at any given time. It's a Target. =+) read more

Not a usual customer of this Target, but found myself in White Center so decided to stop by. I ended up leaving with everything I needed, except I left a tension rod in the shopping cart in the parking lot (or somewhere between the checkout and the car). Called them to see if they found it. Got a call back later and they told me to come and pick it up at the Customer Service desk the next day. Although it's not clear if they found the original "lost" one or just replaced it, I appreciate the speedy solution to my problem. Thank you, Target! I'll be visiting this location again. read more

I came in to this location with the BF looking specifically for lawn chairs. They had some, but only the kind that sit low to the ground. We ended up getting some of the cheap-o metal chairs. We were in a rush so didn't look around elsewhere beyond the office supplies. Noticed that the store was pretty clean and organized. Also noticed that this location carries groceries. Couldn't find a Target employee anywhere when we had a question. We went all over the store. I ended up asking two random strangers when I saw what was in their cart where they got their stuff so I could find what we were looking for. Target seems to only have employees at the registers, the food court, and hiding at the fitting rooms. Employee - Bella - with the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I attempted to purchase a blanket that was on sale for 24.99, and originally $29.99. I was at the self-service section. I rang it up and the price showed as $29.99. So I told Bella, the worker, that the blanket should be on sale. She looks at it and matched it with her scanner and says, no you grabbed the wrong one. I said no, I grabbed the one above the $24.99 sign. She says, "I can't give you the discount. The DPC numbers don't match."So I give her the benefit of the doubt and went to go see which blanket was truly on sale. I go back to the rack and see I did grab the right one. So I take a picture of the discount sign, and I go back and show her. She says, "No. The DPC number is different. (I don't know what the heck a DPC # is?!) This one is $29.99." So I said, "okay well can you come with me to look?" She's says, "Nope I can't leave this section." So I said "okay, can you call someone on the floor and have someone bring me the blanket that is on sale??? So she says "okay", and calls someone to bring the blanket on sale. The manager on floor (Michelle) happens to get the request and brings the same EXACT blanket I have. Bella says, "Michelle the DPC number is wrong. It's ringing up as $29.99." So Michelle, doing the math incorrectly says "just give her the $3 discount". (If you know your math, that brings you to $26.99). So Bella rang me up for $3 discount, and swished her heels and walked away. I said "wait a minute! $3 discount is $26.99, it should be $24.99!" (By now, you understand it's not about the money, it's about the horrible treatment I was receiving). Bella replies, "Well, Michelle said you get $3 discount so that's what you're getting!" By now, yes, I'm shaking and my voice is rising, but by no means making a scene. I realized I'm not getting anywhere with Bella. Another worker passed (Tie - THANK YOU!), came by and I said "Hey can you help me? I should be getting a $5 discount." All of a sudden Bella appears again and says, "don't help her. Michelle already said give her a $3 discount". Then Bella turns to me and says "You should be happy that you're getting $3 off and not paying the full price". I said, "Where is Michelle? I want to speak to her. She's the manager, correct?!" She replies, "You know what? I can have you leave the store for this attitude you're giving me!" I said "My attitude? You refused to help me! I'm not leaving till Michelle gets here!" I said "I'm going to record you if you ask me to leave over this, I'm not even making a scene!" I got my phone out to begin recording but she bolted. Then Tie took over and in SECONDS, gave me this discount as advertised and I purchased the blanket (which, by the way, was a blanket for charity - you buy one, they help someone in need) While I'm wrapping up, Michelle walks by. I called Michelle over and said, "Michelle -- I want to let you know that Bella has given me horrible customer service. She refused to give me the full discount and threatened to have me removed from the store!" Michelle replied, "I'm so sorry. I did the math wrong. It should've been $5, and Bella was not supposed to say that." I said "No kidding!!! This is no way to treat your customers. I've been in the business for awhile, and this is bad customer service!! Simply horrible treatment!" I also made sure to tell Michelle that I was grateful to Tie (I hope I'm spelling his name correctly), because he was incredibly helpful. In situations like these it can cause you to get upset, but I also want to point out the good customer service provided to me by another worker. I also have to say this was the worst Target experience, and definitely an isolated incident. Usually everyone provides great service. read more

I am not sure what's wrong with management at this location, but they are seriously rude to their workers. While they had self check out open, and only one cashier with a huge line, growing all the way back towards cosmetics. A worker jumped in to start helping us, and helping shorten the line to the one check out that was open and was doing a great job, and when they finished with us before they had even passed the receipt and were saying have a great day a "manager" jumped in and yelled very loudly that they needed to go help relief with some thing else, interrupting us and changing the entire vibe. Not only did that stop the line that was already behind us at her open register but they yelled in the customers ear that they were next to. I understand the job is stressful but there is no need to jump in and start yelling at your workers like that especially when they're helping out customers, it's rude and clear you need help with your communication skills and not be in charge of anyone as you can't control your emotions, attention to what's around you, or volume of voice next to people's ears. read more
