Please hire more cashiers. 3 out of 4 times I have been here on the weekend before noon and there are almost 10 people in each line and the wait is almost 30 minutes. Reminds me of Walmart which is a fail. read more

2 stars. I usually go to the Target on Landess (Montague), but this one has better lunch places nearby. :-) I start with 1 star because: a) I picked up a bag of Iams dry cat food. The sort of green/blue turquoise bag for weight control/hairballs. It was marked at $8.99, off from the normal price of $9.99. I get out to my car, and looked at the receipt. I got charged $9.99. So I went back into the store and checked, and someone had put the kind that I got in a spot for the Iams Naturals dry cat food, that was actually on sale. So now I'm supposed to check the product vs the sale tag every time I come to this store? I guess so. b) I also got some Ocean Spray 100% juice. On sale for $2.39, off from the regular price of $2.99, but I got charged $2.69. Also at my car, because then I checked everything when I saw the cat food charge wasn't right. So when I went back to the store, the juice was marked wrong. It was supposed to be $2.39. So this is interesting, the normal price, as marked, was $2.99. The correct sale price was $2.39. I got charged $2.69. I don't understand how that works, unless the regular price was $2.69, and when they went on sale for $2.39, they changed the regular price to $2.99 to make it look like I'd be saving more ... They get 1 star back, because it was quick and painless to get my money back for the incorrect charge for the juice. But really? I should have gotten them for free. Guess I'll go back to the Landess store. I've never had problems with incorrect charges, or products in the wrong spot there. read more

Rude and dumb cashier. Waited behind one customer in express. In time that customer took to swipe her card and sign and bag her own stuff cashier didnt bother to tell me the line was at the other express lane next to her (where one guy was waiting). Only told me when she was free and then the other express cashier opened so I walked back to other only to walk back to this cashier so I can buy one item. Lame stupid girl. read more

I'm writing a review base on my experience with a manager name Antonia, if I can give her a negative review I will. She doenst know how to honor a price match that we showed her from walmart, the same product is half the price of target and she try to play dumb and pretend she doesn't see if from the walmart website, another manager had to call walmart and verify. This is my favorite Target store! It's clean, there's plenty of parking, staff is helpful, and there are always enough cashiers. I get EVERYTHING here from prescriptions to dog toys to turkey bacon to toilet paper. You name it, they've (almost always) got it. I even bought my own very first Christmas tree here last year. You'll see me here at least twice a week. BTW, there are tons of other great places in this plaza like Panera, Petsmart, Cost Plus, and Trader Joe's. read more

1 star because they are open later than others but minus 4 stars because the dumb sales floor associate made me wait in a long ass line to buy one pair of false lashes ($4.99). I waited for about 15-20 minutes in line when there was NOBODY at self checkout. I explained to the associate that he can hold onto the lashes or give it to the cashier person in charge of self checkout because it is a faster checkout. Why the hell do you have self checkout if you don't allow people to use it?!?!?! No fckin common sense.. avoid this target at all costs unless it is a your last resort. read more

Great downtown location off of Coleman. I love this shopping center!

Always pretty clean and stocked. Customer service could be friendlier which is the down side to this location.

This is my go to Target but you may want to avoid it on the weekend. The grocery shelves are bare by 1pm on Sunday. I mean, no lunch meat of any kind in the aisle. One jar of mustard in the whole store. Most sale items gone with no evidence that they had stocked up for a sale. They need staff out there stocking and obviously to have the items there to stock. read more

I love going to this location, because it's only a few minutes away from home. Newly built and the stores around Target are great to shop around the plaza. I am here at least once a week and I always find stuff I don't need but can't live without. This one is the most organized, well stocked and the parking lot is even big for shoppers. I enjoy the $1 spot and the women's clothing section is on the right-hand side the minute you walk through the entrance doors. Target pretty much has everything, and while some things are kinda pricey, they occasionally have awesome deals like a $350 Dyson vacuums, $25 Brita pitchers, $5 for Grandma's Boy DVD and $2 bags of unbleached flour. The other day I got the most amazing birthday card with some weird pocket Unicorn that talks. While this Target is pretty much always packed, it's decently well stocked and everyone is decently nice (except for the occasional weirdo employee that actually tells you how their morning has been when you were just trying to be polite). read more

Just your average target. Nothing super special. I will say that this one is a bit cleaner and tidier than most but that's about it. I can go to pretty much any target and expect just about the same. I do like how the plaza has a lot of other shops around so that does make this target a little more appealing to go to. I can get shopping done at multiple stores while parked in the same spot. And I guess it being clean and relatively in order gives me another reason to come here rather than other targets where I can barely find things because everything is either disheveled or out of place. This is as close as I can get to CHEERsing the City of San Jose for finally bringing a real shopping center downtown! Thank goodness it isn't really downtown. The traffic is manageable and there's easy access from 880/17 and 87. The center really gets all these stars for bringing a Trader Joes to DTSJ. I have been bitching about this since they closed all major supermarkets downtown. I better become a believer! Or start charging for my meditations ;). read more

I love this Target. I agree with Christina I. in that it's the cleanest and best organized of the Targets in the area (Camden, Saratoga or Oakridge Mall). I've never had any problems there and the bonus is that it's close to other groovy places like WingStop, L&L, Red Brick, Trader Joe's and the airport!! Perfect for when you have to pick someone up and they say they have to pick some stuff up that they couldn't take on the plane with them. So nice! read more

I miss the days when my boyfriend worked here and we got 10% off. *Sigh* But I don't miss him working till 2am....my ex also worked here at the same time, so I heard a lot of stories about how bad they treat their employees though. Some pretty muffed up stuff going on behind the red doors..... Grab yourself a Starbucks and make the "loop", counter clock wise is preferable. First stop, dollar spot! OK so the stuff is cheap and breaks the first day, but $1 XMAS bags and boxes of gumballs is great! Next up is teen girls and lingere. I don't know what girls where some of the outfits they have for sale cause some of it's the ugliest looking crap ever! The lingere has a cute selection though. Women's wear is a little better, even got a cute bathing suit there this summer. Shoes is ok as well, but I would just go to Payless for some better deals (BOGO!). I love their Men's department! The clothes are so stylish! (ok so the buyers from the men department need to help out the womens department!). I would dress my boyfriend in almost everything here. Electronics and baby is next. Electronics have some good sales sometimes but the video game aisle get a little hectic with the way the have the test games sitting in the middle of the aisle so the person playing them blocks the whole aisle. Toys is next, followed by car. I usually skip these aisles unless I'm shopping for my baby cuz (in the toy aisle, not the car). Cut across to the middle aisle to reach home stuff (bed linens, kitchen gadgets, vaccums, etc.) I usually skip this part as well unless I need towels, or sheets, or pillows. Their food department is great and some items are so much cheaper then Safeway! Their liquor aisle is lacking in the hard stuff though. Lastly is beatuy, home decor and the pharamacy. I can go crazy in the beauty aisles. Their pharamacy is very fast and since I have to go here once a month to refill my bc, they know me and just say "Ok come back in 20!" when they see me. Some of the workers can be rude though and though the front door says "Hassle free shopping" I've still seen Greenpeace, voter registraion, and Girl Scouts out there. Overall though the store is large, mostly clean, and has what I need at good prices. I'm here AT LEAST once a week if not 3-5 times. read more

I wish this place were a lot closer. They stock items that aren't offered at the Target near my house. I'm somewhat appalled that things like this happen, where certain Targets offer a better selection than other Targets. Every time I go to Trader Joe's or the Sweet Tomatoes here, I have an urge to go to this Target. Maybe it's because it's new, but I enjoy walking through this Target very much. They have cereals and snacks that I don't see at the Target near my house. Loving to browse around and shop at Target already, I have to give this place 5 stars. If i could live in Target I would. This location is my favorite because the staff is always very helpful. They are usually well stocked especially in the grocery section. I'm surprised I haven't written a review for this Target. Especially when it's the main one I go to. This Target is awesome! It is always clean and it has a great selection of everything! Why I love it the most is because it's right by my work downtown. So convenient to go to during lunch instead of going to a Target by my house after work during rush hours! I love this Target store because it is always very clean and never overly crowded. The parking sucks because it shares a lot with other stores and restaurants in the shopping center, but I think we could all use a little more excersise so I don't mind the little walk. The shelves are always fully stocked, there is almost always no wait in line at the register, and the layout is great because I can always find what I need without wandering around (wandering around in a Target is dangerous because you end up filling your cart with things you "need" but really don't). I highly recommend this Target for an easy, friendly shopping experience. read more

Out of all of the targets I've been to, this one seems to be my fav. It's clean, organized, and not as crowded. Also once and a while they have these crazy sales and clearances. I got some alcohol mixers, cups, a fondue set, and a brew keg for less than 10 dollars. Yay! read more

I love Target. Sure, it's a huge department store. I should be supporting local businesses. But - I can go to Target and get everything I need!! Target....My 3rd home! I LOVE Target!!! I do the majority of my shopping here including groceries. Most of the groceries are way inexpensive than a regular grocery store...which is GREAT! I've never had a bad experience at this Target ever. My only gripe is that sometimes there aren't enough check stands open on a busy day. But that can go for about any store. It's hard to go into Target for a few things without coming out with a basket full of stuff! I do wish that their Pharmacy stayed open longer. Parking can be a pain sometimes but if you don't mind parking a ways out and walking than it should be no big deal. And don't forget to bring your recyclable bags! read more
