I have gotten use to people not taking pride in their work. Seeing this at this level is revolting. Target on Coleman must be an "experiment" in how to be hands-off management. Going to Target at 7:30 pm on a Sunday highlights this lack of commitment to ones job and responsibilities. It is really annoying walking into the store only to find 2 shopping carts and really annoying watching three employees standing in shopping cart area, not getting shopping carts from parking lot. After shopping and finding limited stock or nothing in stock was aggravating. They had one cashier and half of the self-check outs were down. If you don't give a crap about being your best at work, quit. Is there a limited number of qualified managers to work on a Sunday evening? One of the worst targets I've been to. Specifically for pick up. I've never had any issues before or at any other targets in the area. I waited 45min in drive up, watched cars come and go after me, my order had two items!! Two!! I asked the girl as she gave someone else (who also came after me) their order. And she just said "no" ok thanks for nothing. I gave up and walked inside, to see two baskets full of drive up orders just sitting out. Great store only gripe is (& I'm fully aware this won't happen) they should move the bike racks to a more conspicuous place. I've been ripped off twice with parking my bike at the bike racks which are in a hidden corner next to the main entrance! Really bummed as I use my bike for my primary transportation but now need to use the Sta Clara one if I want to use my bike which Is significantly more challenging to get to. KC is the only reason I'm writing this review and the 5 stars ate for him. He is the best cashier at the college park target, hands down without question. I will stand and wait for his line no mater how long it is. Especially if I'm with my kids. He always funny jokes and stickers for them. A true asset to the company. I am not normally the type of person to complain on a platform like this but I felt it necessary to do so this time. I was at this Target earlier today as I had some time to kill before the Sharks game. I was going to do some shopping but needed to use the restroom first. I walked in and checked the first stall, there was toilet paper in the bowl and a bottle cap with a soda on the floor next to it. Every other stall I checked had no toilet paper and no seat covers. I went to let someone at the returns/customer service center know of this issue but the lady in line there in front of me beat me to it. However the response I heard from the rep at the desk truly appalled me as someone who's worked in customer service and with the public for almost 20 years...She replied with I know and then made a gesture towards and employee like they were the one who was going to do it at that moment. Sadly this was not the case. I walked to do my shopping but didn't see what I needed, got my Starbucks and came back and the bathroom STILL had not been attended to. So I walked back over to the same area and there is a gentleman there but I still tell him. He responded the way I expect someone in customer service to do, oh thank you for letting me know. Then he mentioned it to the woman in that area, the same one from earlier and I was walking away so I couldn't quite hear everything but it sounded as if she said the person who knows how to replace it was on break. If that is really the case this is extremely unacceptable! That type of situation should never happen and especially with blatant disregard. I will ensure to never come to this Target again unless I absolutely have to. read more

This is a pretty standard Target. We frequented it while at a conference in San Jose to stock up on snacks. The selection is typical of a Target grocery section and we found everything we needed. I've been coming to this target for about 5 years on a pretty regular basis. It is my favorite target in the Bay Area! I just went there yesterday and had an amazing check out experience. KC was my cashier. He was so friendly and positive he definitely brightened my day. He was thorough and fast and even greeted me when I rolled up to his line. You can tell he truly enjoys the customer service aspect of his position. I will continue to come back to this target and hope that I get into his checkout line every time. read more

Unlike the Target at Silver Creek (my other Target review), this Target was actually able to assist me with my registry return items. A manager named Stephanie, who was wearing a black apron, and who looked like she was running the makeup department at the time, was such a great help! She was very friendly and ended doing an override for me and in return, I received merchandise credit, which was better than having to keep the items that I had got extra off the registry. So, thank you once again Stephanie for your assistance! Another employee had accompanied Stephanie in assisting me, but she wasn't wearing a nametag, but she was also very friendly and helpful. I live close to this location for the past 7 yrs. It has been my go to spot for our household and personal needs. I've noticed these last few months I can't just stop by and grab what I need because THEY NEVER RESTOCK ANYTHING! This last week my child was ill and I needed to run in to get meds. Literally not one dam med. Everything was sold out. It was like 4pm and I asked when do you restock target team member response: I'm not sure..... Ok do you have it in the back? Nope. It's also become unsafe. There is a homeless encampment that hangs at the front doors. They panhandle and curse at you. This man was riding his bike drunk outta the store crashing into people and fixtures. There is also these well dressed pushy sex traffickers who constantly approach you and bother you. The cashiers are so nice always. Theres an old dude with an interesting name who despite all this craziness is always kind and fast. Everyone else on the store sucks. I'll start driving 15 mins away to the Santa Clara Target for our Target fix from now on. read more

The Starbucks inside of this Target, is Awesome!!!! The employees go above and beyond for their customers!! The lady Miriam is the nicest lady their! This is my local target. Years back, I used to come here frequently and even enjoyed my visits. Now I lowkey dread having to go into the store. There are too few carts available for shoppers. I always seem to nab one, but it feels like there are never more than two or three available when I arrive. But that's not what makes me mad about this place. . . This store was built with MANY registers that could and SHOULD be staffed during business hours, yet somehow there's never more than two registers open, and one of them is usually about to close and refuses to take more customers despite the lines. Further, the staff at the registers are often really slow and/or confused. I get that they're trying to push self checkout, but when shoppers are buying a lot (a common occurrence at a big box store!), it's impractical to expect them to process it through self checkout. Plus, the self checkout machines at this target can be glitchy. Target, please staff your registers. You've practically lost me as a customer because you consistently fail to provide service critical to operating a brick and mortar store. Please fix it. read more

The Target at Coleman is the best Target in San Jose. They always have good items in stock like the popular things people want. The customer service is always good and helps me make sure I find what I need. This Target has Starbucks, CVS, and an eye glasses section inside the store. This is convinent to have so you don't have to drive to other markets and save time. This Target is also in a good area for you to go shopping after like Marshalls, Trader Joe's, Michael's, and a ton of restaurants. read more

During the pandemic with laws that require masks in all businesses in California the staff here just allows people to enter without masks and does not say anything to them. I noticed this when I was paying at the self-checkout, while the person on the next checkout also was not wearing a mask. If you're at all concerned about the spread of COVID-19, do not shop here. read more

My partner ordered a drive up order and we waited over 30 minutes for no one to serve us. People who were not before us came and went through all this time. There was mostly only one man handling the orders and the second was hardly to be seen. This store has been extremely low on shopping carts for at least 2 months now. Whenever I go in to shop there are NO CARTS at the front door. Been that way for a long time. RIDICULOUS !!! I asked at the courtesy desk over a week ago and they said they were getting more that day. I went again today and NO CARTS !!!! I asked the security guard at the front of the store and he claimed that they did get more and that they were out gathering them. I looked outside and there was nobody gathering carts anywhere outside. In the mean time people keep gathering around at the front of the store LOOKING FOR A SHOPPING CART ! Hmm surprised I haven't wrote a review for this Target. Well I love this Target! It's close to SJSU and I love the location -- it's conveniently located near all my favorite stores (Marshalls, Michaels, L&L, Trader Joes, BJ's, and more!) and I get all my shopping done in the same shopping center without having to drive to a different area. There's tons of parking here! I never have to worry about finding a parking space :) The store is big and clean. Most of the workers here are SJSU students, so I see a few familiar faces. There's now self-check out at this location too! However, lines for checkouts are always long and slow, idk if it's cause everyone come here or they need more workers. Oh, make sure you bring your reusable bags whenever you shop here :) Overall, it's just the typical Target, but there's probably a lot more college students shopping here since it's close to SJSU. Oh, it's near the airport, so you'll be seeing and hearing a of lot loud planes too! read more

This Target is my go to for basic essentials for the household whenever I am at Trader Joe's or World Market. I was here 3x a week right before Christmas; good grief that was a stressful time for me but unlike me, staff (usually the ones that ring me up are kids) were energetic, happy, and pleasant; he bagged my stuff even though I brought my own bag and did not charge me for it. This Target is bigger than the one by mi casa (Morrill). This place was a madhouse due to the last minute Christmas shopping everyone including myself was doing but I have to hand it to them - most of the checkout lanes were opened so it moved along rather quickly. A limited section of groceries. You will find $5.99 pizzas ready to pop in the oven for a cheap meal however, at Walmart it's $5. The fruits and vegetables (onions) seem pricier than other corporate grocery stores. I mainly get bread, milk, cereal, chips, cookies, and canned goods. If I am really shopping, like I need to get the whole caboodle: home goods like toilet tissue paper, detergent, etc., I go to Walmart as I hate to admit it and I hate going there but it is much cheaper. I have made so many impulse buys due to their displays by the register. I bought Bridesmaids, candies, chips, cookies, and random stuff I normally would not buy. The marketing and sales method works and that goes for all retail stores. Yay for $5 or $10 movies! I remember I bought an individual bag of almonds. I was thinking to myself, "Maybe I will eat this as a snack to be healthy." It has been 3 years and still unopened. Homer Simpson, "It's just a little dirty, it's still good, it's still good!" Tram, "It's just been 3 years, it's still good, it's still good!" Parking is a hassle - so many stores and eateries here. I am typing this now at 3:20AM because damn monster woke me up and I can't seem to fall back to sleep. I need to be up in an hour for P90X. This bites!!! Today is day one of the master cleanse. I need to prepare myself for a completely challenged diet next week: vegan! I know - I am always doing some type of crazy workout routines and diets but I thrive on challenges. BTW- Sharks finally ended their losing streak. Hamburgers, pizzas, or chicken tenders for the game Friday? Yes- I am only doing this cleanse for 2 days and this vegan kick will start Monday and will end each week on Thursday for meat and sweets binge eating. read more

Target has E V E R Y T H I N G! I would come in to buy one thing like a bottle of shampoo and I end up buying a cartful of things. I like the brands they have. Most items are cheap or reasonably priced but the quality and look are really outstanding. They have beautiful bed sets, bathroom decors, and kitchen utensils. Even clothes are surprisingly stylish. I would never have thought I would buy a dress at Target, but I've done it twice. They have great selections of TV's and other electronics, too. Now you can even do your groceries at Target. I never do, but I think that might be a plus for someone. I don't think I have any reasons for giving this Target less than 5 stars. It's pretty clean, it's easy to return and exchange things, the lines are long but there are so many registers I don't think I've waited too long. I just wish they didn't put Valentine's stuff in December, Christmas stuff in August., and Halloween stuff in June. I don't need an early reminder about the holidays. I know when they are. It annoys me when they advertise early. I think I'll take away 1 star for that. read more

This Coleman location isn't anything special. They have sketchy people panhandling outside and the store was fairly busy. They layout is typical of that latest design that target implemented a few years back (I prefer the old layout). They keep it fairly dark right outside the store. They had a long line at the checkout and only a couple of cashiers. It's that empty space of empty cash registers with lots of customers in line on a Black Friday that the vibe is all wrong. read more

Updated review: I HATE coming here now because there's NEVER ANY CARTS. They literally have 20 carts total and NO hand baskets. There's never any carts in the parking lot either. They blame it on the homeless. It's SO frustrating. Three security guards doing NOTHING at the door.... A manager or someone else standing outside too.... Can't you have them monitor your carts????? It's literally the worst. No one cares. Not even the managers. They say they'll have more carts on Tuesday. Great.... I will Hold them to their word though!!!!
