I usually try to avoid writing yelp reviews about chains because I figure they're chains, you know, you've been to one you've been to them all. Target, however, is a chain that has always been dear to my heart, and this Target is no exception. This Target, in fact, is (dare I say it) the best Target I have been to. Not only does it have a pharmacy that dispenses your medications in cute little red upside down pill bottles, but it also has... wait for it... A FULL GROCERY! with a freezer section! and wine and beer! I have told family and friends from other towns and they just don't believe me, but it's true. It is so beautiful and true. You literally don't have to shop anywhere else. I know that Target managing to encompass every need a shopper might have is probably somehow inherently evil, but for now I'm going to ignore that and bask in the wonder that is the full grocery in a Target store. read more

I clearly have a problem because I can come into Target for one thing and come out with an entire basket full of things that I never knew that i needed! I think Target does an excellent job of offering chic and semi-affordable items to decorate the home as well as cute clothes made by high end designers for lower prices. I have gotten some really fantastic pieces for the home here that look really expensive but have been under $50. I also have gotten a lot of my kitchen gadgets here which are really nice and great quality as well. Much of my wardrobe is also from here and I stock up on a lot of basics that I mix with my more expensive designer pieces. I have some very cute dresses from some of the designer collections that I have gotten many compliments on. Also with the fresh grocery section it makes it extremely convenient to get everything done in one quick shopping trick. This Target is very nice in my opinion because it is fairly new but it does get quite busy so it is best to try to go in off hours to avoid massive crowds. However, there is ample parking so you don't really have to worry about not finding a place to park here. read more

DISAPPOINTED KIDS CLOSE TO CHRISTMAS Excitedly our family ordered a heavily marketed affordable Christmas tree on Target.com. Target confirmed in store pickup for today and I set out to collect the tree (at a Target 20 minutes from our home). An hour later I am back home with no tree. Target said "our systems are down, there is no way for us to find it." This was hard to believe given the order was on my phone and no doubt the tree was in the store. I am now about to walk in and tell my wife and two small kids "no tree." This was our big day to decorate given work schedules and travel. read more

I'm writing this 2 star review based on the fact of a few things. I give the store a 5 star for being in a good location, safe area, and the store is generally clean and tidy. -3 stars for the fact that there security team are a bunch of untrained and judgmental profilers. I've been followed 3 times in this place while my children are with me. My son is bi-racial and they always seem to target us for a "friendly" security stop. Newsflash the presidents bi-racial. Beware MOM's this is not a friendly place when it comes to there security "experts". I spend over 1500 dollars a month here on average, maybe they're following the wrong people and that's why they need security. Make a change or I will. read more

This is one of my favorite Target locations in the area. It is just so big and so clean. There is never really a long wait at the register since their cashiers are fast and efficient. Also, the shoppers here are not creepy or ghetto, which makes the whole shopping experience a much happier one. read more

It's a nice convenient location near Downtown San Jose. I stop in here every now and then when I need to get supplies or other necessities. Pretty organized and clean store, for the most part. I like the way they have their cafe and Starbucks set up. Parking is usually not a issue, unless you are really trying to get a front row spot! read more

Extremely Rude pharmacy Staff, the fact is they should be here to answer questions not get irritated when asked questions about medication people take for health reasons. I called to re-fill a prescription with the pharmacy and the girl said "Oh my god" when I asked for a detail on my prescription. This Target and their corporate offices are criminals!!! They double charged me and refuse to give credit my CC back! Citibank disputed the charge and Target says no we didn't, but it clearly shows on my CC statement that there are the exact same charge right after another. Tell me something, if it is not a duplicate how is it f@$king possible for me to buy the exact dollar amount right after the other??? I guess all my business will have to go to Walmart, at least their prices are lower! F@$K YOU TARGET!!!!!!! We have been very happy with Target store in the area. This is one of our favorites, as they keep everything clean and the shelf's are always full of good usable products. We enjoy this target too, as we use some of the restaurants in the area, so we do like to walk the mall. read more

I want to preface this by saying that my little bro worked at a Target for all of, I don't know, 4 days? So I understand what a crappy place this is to work. When this shopping center first opened, I was a pretty big fan. The store was spacious and clean. As time went by though, they stopped picking up after people. In certain sections (a different one each time I visit, it seems) things look like a disheveled mess. I'll still go here for certain things, like Stouffers French Bread Pizzas, doggy pooper scooper bags, and my man's socks and underwear, but I'm going to be doing it in a hurry. No more lingering and no casual browsing. This store has become a little depressing. I also hate how they designed the lot, so you have to drive around a huge median if you exit the lot from the back. WTF? read more

Ok, so I just moved here from Huntington Beach. There's a relatively new Target in HB. I believe this is a relatively new Target? Either way, they've apparently started doing this crazy thing where the new Target's all look the same inside. I was seriously tripped out when I walked in. I knew PRECISELY where everything was. Very amazing and useful, but kinda killed some of my "ooohhh new target!" fun. Yes, when all I have money for is groceries and toilet paper, I need to get shopping excitement where I can. It gets crazy busy on the weekends (what target doesn't?) and I hate waiting in long lines which are abundant here, so I stick to weekdays and all is happy. read more

I'm really glad that there's a Target located near the SCU campus! It's a LIFESAVER for all my friends and I! The store arrangement is pretty ideal, with food and cosmetics located in one corner (I usually just go there anyways). Hallways are very clean, and customer service is helpful! Lines do get long on the weekends, but just go at the right times to Coleman and you should be fine. Cheers to Target! Who doesn't love it? read more

When I shop at this particular location of Target, I half expect Tattoo from Fantasy Island to jump on to the top of one of the shelves in the children's section and yell "The plane! The plane!" and Ricardo Montalban emerge from behind the same isle and say "My friends, welcome to fantasy island!" --Cue theme music.-- Since this is in the path of the San Jose airport, you'll hear the planes roaring overhead. This one of the better ones! I heart Target, and Target hearts me. This one is nice, it's big and spacious - that way some of the deals will talk to you. I might usually be here on a Tuesday morning picking up the latest CD's or sneaking around to look for Quaker Rice Cakes in the ranch flavor. I love Target and find myself at this location fairly often. It's always crowded but it's well organized and stocked. Parking tends to be difficult so sometimes I just park a few stores down and walk. They also have groceries at this location if you need to grab some eggs, bananas, or milk. I love the auto sensors in the freezer section so lights only turn on when there's someone there - way to save energy! There's also a Starbucks inside if you need to get your caffeine fix. Wanna know a little secret? Some of their prices are cheaper at this location than the Target I typically go to in Sunnyvale! Also, bring your own bags and you get a 5cent credit and help the earth - a double bonus! read more

This is the Target closest to my apartment, and I have slowly been trying to tear myself off of the habit of coming here more than 3 times a week. You always need something, and as they often say, you can usually walk out of an ol' Tar-jey having spent double what you actually meant to. I'm not going to go into detail about my experiences here because if I could remember them all I think I would be part of a brain study on strong memory, but I think the reason why they were so easy to forget is because my visits have been generally good. I usually follow the same footpath around the store every time I walk in (thus ending up with a cart full of things I didn't actually intend to shop for) but it's fun to browse all the same. I usually try to get my music and movies at record stores, but sometimes the prices on BluRays at Target can't be beat. I usually try to buy my clothes from small, local boutiques or the mall, but sometimes you just need a good deal on a basic camisole or a "fast fashion" sweater (BTW, hasn't Target really been stepping up their game on the clothes front lately?). And I usually try to get my groceries just down the parking lot at Trader Joe's, but if you're already at Target, sometimes you just need some name-brand Tostitos. On any given day, you might deal with a curmudgeon in the parking lot, a long line at customer service, or even a slow checker at the registers, but it's Target and if you always something, they're there for you. read more

Best Target in the south bay area. FOR NOW!!! Wait till the crowds start pounding this place and the rest of the complex is built then the world is screwed!!! I love this store because I can find Luella and Taron Jarmon; two British clothing designers at this store. This Target also has a patio selection outside and garden that I just discovered today. I am a die hard target fan and have been very pleased with this one. I definitely prefer the big, open space 1 level targets to the 2 story ones and I've always had decent service. Also, I always have in my mind that a friend (an even bigger Target fan) happened to be in the store during a corporate visit, and the executive people said it was the best looking store they'd seen!!! This really is a review for one particular employee of Target, whose name I don't even know. But I was so impressed that I feel the need to yelp my experience. I went in looking for an extension cord and drawer liner. After wandering around aimlessly for quite some time, I ran into an employee and asked him, without much hope, where they would be located. Without even hesitating, this young employee said "Extension cords are in aisle F60, drawer liner is A37." Bam and bam! Thank you, young Target employee! read more

This Target location is great! The workers are suuper nice and always very helpful. I had an associate who was nice enough to help put a heavy bookshelf into my cart and I also had another associate help me bring out to my car. It wasn't overly busy like other locations, and everything seemed to be neatly in place! And they actually had things in stock, as opposed to busier locations. As far as Target stores go, this one is fine. You forsake depth of selection so that you get the good prices; sometimes that trade off is fine, sometimes it feels too restrictive, especially in the media departments. On the other hand, there are some pleasant surprises, like some of the furniture and home decorating things they carry now, or a good bottle of wine at a nice price. Also: check Target the week of some new CD's release. If it's new, more-or-less mainstream, and anticipated, Target might have it for a few days at $9.99, which is great. read more

This target is awesome! It's never too crowded -- there are hardly ever lines to check out. I go here for the pharmacy -- the pharmacist is really wonderful, she actually called me after i had picked up a new prescription to see if I had any questions. I have NEVER had that kind of treatment at walgreens. My only problem is that I go there for a $20 item and then spend like 200 on stuff i don't really need but think is a good deal. read more

My favorite Target thus far. We moved to the neighborhood in 2006, when people had yet to discover the plaza. The Trader Joe's hadn't even been built, and only the major large stores attached to the chain were open. The Target then was clean, airy, had plenty of parking, and all of the associates were friendly, helpful, and professional. Fast forward to now, and nothing has changed, save for the amount of people now all over the plaza! Heck, we drive over ten miles just to go to this Target, even though we pass by two others along the way. I recommend you check this Target and plaza out if you haven't already! read more

Fast efficient check out lines, even on the busiest time. Cheap eggs ($1.2x to 1.3x for a dozen large). Good inventory turn, anything that didn't sell, gets put on clearance quick. Look for bargains at isle-ends where most of the marked down items are stashed. Very clean. In the current tough time that we are going through, visiting this place doesn't make me depress like certain other large box discount store near Story road. This store is clean and airy. I loves me some Target on Coleman! Everyone that works there says "hi" and asks if we need help..EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I think aliens swooped this place up, gave everyone a etiquette class and left us with this awesome store. I haven't had any problems! We found a baby car seat here for HALF off, in a unopened box, perfect condition not even a ding on the box! I was blown away because it was the style I wanted then I didnt care about the color after seeing I didnt have to pay full price. Unfortunately we got another car seat so we returned the other one (darn) but it was very EASY to return. I wanted Tylenol once and the whole section was gone. A worker saw me looking upset and offered to look up the stock in the back for me (wow really? usually people just say 'sorry' and move along) turns out the pills were being recalled so they took them off the shelf. oo. Waiting in line is never a problem, at the most you'll have 2 or three people ahead of you. Good :) I hate waiting :) read more

To all you target fans out there....this target is actually open until 11:00 (except for Sunday)!!!!! Sometimes you just need that extra hour, and this target gives it to you. I came to this location for the first time because it was on my way home from somewhere, and my poor dog was in desperate need of more food. They have all the normal Target goods, with the benefit of it being a newer store so its very clean. The only bad thing about Target is the hundreds of dollars I end up spending here when I went for a $5 item. Ridick!! read more

I heart tar-jay! It's so fun but also monetarily dangerous shopping here! Before you step in the store, you have set in your mind only 1-2 items you need to get, but you always end up picking up more items along the way to the register, and then bam! You just spent more than you wanted to. Oh well :) This is the target closest to me and also will soon be my favorite target because they're going to have a FRESH PRODUCE section starting in June! I always try and come to this Target because... a) the new grocery section is open - there is not a super lot of variety - but it works for when you forget something from Safeway - and you can run to Target and grab it - at Target prices! a.5) each aisle of freezer section has an auto sensor!!! how neat is that - the lights only turn on when there is someone at the aisle. b) very clean - things are pretty organized and in its right places. c) the registry kiosk works and prints! d) even tho it is a busy location - time spent in line is not that long. e) Employees always remembers to give you the 5 cent discount for bringing in your own grocery bags. f) location next to everything convenient - Panera, Wingstop, Trader Joes, Petsmart... etc... read more

Since moving to California, I've transitioned from a Walmart shopper to a bonafide Target shopper. The Target stores here always seem less congested and it's easier to find things. This Target is fairly close to our house and will be our 'regular' Target store. The store is clean and well organized, but seems to have less variety than the one in downtown Sunnyvale. So, that's why I'm giving it three stars. This will be my go-to Tar-ghetto. One thing I would suggest is more parking! The shopping plaza gets so crowded, almost anytime during the day. I went over there at 2pm yesterday and had a hella time trying to find a parking space! Other than that, I'm a fan :) read more

I like that this Target is clean and not scary. I like that the workers here smile and are helpful when I ask questions. I like the location - so close to the airport and other places for me to walk through. I can go to Chevy's for chips and salsa and a salad then go for a walk and a tiny bit of retail therapy here. I am fairly sure my secret is out, though. It's getting a little more crowded. Good for Target, bad for me. read more
