Sad to say this is my local Target and here I am giving it a 1 star due to one experience with one specific employee - Dazyrae. Red hair, tattoos, piercings, glasses. Poor, entitled attitude and just overall not nice. She worked the fitting rooms the evening my friend and I came in. She was already upset because we came in at a time she was talking bad about another employee to her fellow coworker. They were upset at her for something and made it clear. Dazyrae rudely informed us "only 6 items so you can't go in with that." That's fine but there's also a more decent, approachable way to say that. She rudely directed us where to park the cart and where to hang the clothes while she was continuing to hate her job. we came out with our go-backs and she looked annoyed and pointed at the rack while saying, "Just hang them there." I'm sorry if you were having a long day, having a hard shift, having a hard life. But it does not excuse your behaviors to be rude and entitled to customers you're suppose to assist. She was rolling her eyes and it seemed like we were a bother coming into the fitting room when she never did ANY hands-on help for us at all. Not sure how frequent management does check-ins and assessments, but please do with this employee as she does not seem satisfied with her position. This is one of the latest closing targets I've ever been to and I'm so thankful for the extended hours. The store itself is moderately clean and pretty organized. Customer service is horrible , the target employees at rosemead location have bad attitudes like they all hate their jobs. Lack of emplyees anywhere in store. I waited around in electronics for 30+ minutes for an ethernet cable that i drove to target for because i checked online stock and it said they had one left l, only to be told theyre sold out. Management does not update online stock or inventory at all. Employee didnt offer any sympathy for apologies for wasting hours of my time and gas. This target is the worst! Today , Wednesday, May 14, 2025 the store had only one cashier. It took 20 minutes to get ringed up. The manager was Angel , I informed her the cashier was by himself for quite some time. She replied sorry, but when I continued to speak she didn't seem to reply back. This store needs better monitoring on management supervision. Manager needs to learn better customer service and supervision skills. I would not recommend this store. Ross is my favorite store, but I'm never coming back to this store. read more

I bought items for an interview and unfortunately needed to charge my phone. Yes I could use my car charger however I misplaced it so I have a wall outlet. If I patron your establishment I should be able to charge my damn phone for it to power on and so forth. I'm a customer there is NO signage stating I cannot except the talk way too much for me instead of honoring me as a guest. Their bathrooms are DISGRACEFUL toilet tissue all over the floor shitty stalls with no form of cleaning and always a stomach gut wrenching stench right next to the cafe. Horrible! I stopped by here to get some supplies because it was the closest Target near me when I was staying in the area. This Target has a very big parking lot so you won't have an issue finding a spot here. The store is very cleaned and organized as well. I was able to find everything I needed using the Target apps or reading the signs. Worst target around the area. They never have anything I need in stock. Want water? Too bad. They won't have it. Whoever is in charge of stocking something as basic as water needs to do better. No other store ever runs out of water. Also, why are all their carts broken and missing? They used to have 2 seater family kids carts. They seem to have disappeared. The one that I did see was absolutely disgusting. All that being said, I recently went to another Target in Arcadia and they had everything I needed in stock, no shortage of water, and working carts available, including the kids carts. I love coming to Target to kill time and leaving with bags full of things I do not need. I know I am not the only one that does this, haha. This Target is big and nice with tons of parking available. I am not usually in this area unless I need to but it is always fun to browse at Target any time of the day at any locations. The dollar section by the entrance is a fun spot to impulse buy. I hardly see anything there anymore because everything is sold out but here, they had almost everything I had seen on instagram. The shelves were very well-stocked and the store was organized compared to Alhambra location. I had to come here to buy my CeraVe therapeutic hand cream for winter and Target is the only place that carries it. It was at a different spot but someone helped me find it really fast. This was a few months ago, so I had time to investigate things and make Returns-w/Receipts, as many as possible. Also, during this time, Target announced sales were lower and would reduce prices, as they were also gouging us. I had 5 distinct items (no electronics), for about $25. While in line, I could hear the walkie talkie call to check me. We can hear you Dumb-Dumbs. So, the self-checkout worker and rent a cop were both behind me. The rentacop told the worker she was asked to watch. This is why store worker identities should be known to customers as it's a form of harassment. During my investigation, I witnessed this happening to other paying customers. Plus, people Stealing-Not in Self-Checkout, but just walking out the door....And No One stopped them. Not whimpish security who hide behind walkie talkies or rentacop. I mentioned this to one of the employees and the response was What can you do? I also witnessed this at another Target, and the worker said the same thing. So, you let people just walk out the store without paying, but harass paying customers. I think during the pandemic, stores got cocky and felt they could push us around and price gouge. No More! We as customers need to stand up against them. I was waiting in line for the clinic to open and there was a worker who was restocking stuff, but then I guess a supervisor or manager swung by and started lecturing her in front of me because she had forgotten to do something with one of the log books. June 6, 2024 Target Rosemead CA Yelp Review I've been coming to this Target store for the past 10 years. It was a good experience until they started locking up certain items in what they call the "A" aisles. Since then, it was an inconvenience to buy any of those items. There is no "call" button to push, so one has to hunt down a store associate, who has to go find someone with a key, and I started questioning if this was worth the time and hassle. I'm not going to throw the employees here under the bus. Most of them (except the tall 20ish lady working in the cosmetic aisle on the morning shift) are pleasant and sincerely want to help their customers. That cosmetic aisle lady is one of those associates at this store who is an unfortunate exception. A few weeks ago, my wife and I were shopping in that aisle one day. My wife is Chinese with limited English. She asked that associate via her translation app if the store carried a particular item. The associate cringed and walked away. I followed her and asked if she had a key to lock up items on aisle 35. She ignored me and continued walking away. Alright, I won't bother asking her again. Guess she must be a socially challenged mercy hire at this store. June 6 2024, I went shopping at this store. Again, there was no one available to unlock one of the lock up items I went there to buy. I searched high and low for someone to ask. No one had a key, so they paged and paged. No one came by to help me. I had a small purchase that was not locked up, instead of the $50 locked up item I wanted to buy. I went to the self-checkout and asked the lady there if she could page someone to help me buy my locked up item. She paged, and I could hear it on the walkie-talkies of three people sitting at a table at the Starbucks next to the self-checkout. I asked who those people were. She replied, "those are the store executives. They won't answer me. They never do." I walked up to their Starbucks table. I observed that there were no clipboards or I-Pads. I asked if they were in charge of this store. A lady in her 30's replied, "Yes." I asked her why they lock up items, but don't have associates assigned to those aisles with keys to unlock them so customers can buy them. She replied, "Thank you. We will address that..." and continued talking to the other 2 people at the table, ignoring me. I felt like a peasant addressing the Queen of Target. Well, Queen of Target, I won't be back to your store. You just lost a $200-300 dollar a month loyal customer. Walmart is nearby, so I'll just go there. Their locked-up items have a button to push and customer service there is Johnny-On-the Spot. Prices are more or less the same as what Target charges, and I've yet to meet your Queen of Walmart counterpart there. read more

Hurray! Target's parking lot is being monitored by security cameras. At the time of visit, the place is organized. Yes, some shoppers are just pigs that will make a mess at the store. It is actually an insult to pigs to lump them together as pigs are smart creatures. I refer to those shoppers as barbaric organisms. The bicycle section only has few remaining bicycles. Not much to choose from but other sections or departments seems to be fully stocked. Restroom is clean and utilizes hands free faucets and hand soap dispensers. Thank God that I don't need to touch the restroom door handles just to exit the restroom as the door remains open (or was there a door there in the first place?). During Phase 3 of Covid-19, I liked being able to use their curbside type of service. Target offers same day delivery, shipping and pick up service. You can either pick it up in the store or you can have them bring it to your car. On Target's app you can let them know that you are on your way, and/or that you have arrived at their pick up location. Once they receive their notification that you've arrived, a Target employee scans a bar code that is on the app and gives the items to you. What I like the most about Target is that since a couple of the items were not in stock, their app gave me the option of either having the items shipped free of charge or cancelling the 2 items. I have gone on other apps for delivery, shipping or curbside type of service, and they just cancel the item. I admired Target for giving me the option of having the out of stock items being shipped to me free of charge. Walmart might have items that are priced lower than Target, but if it is not in stock at Walmart you'll never receive the item. When I went to pick up my items that were in stock at a Walmart store, they did not even have anyone at the pick up location. I ended up asking for a manager on duty. This Target store is much further to me than Walmart, but I prefer Target's customer service. At this time, it is definitely all about curbside customer service. read more

The self checkout lines are much faster than the regular checkout lines. Items are nicely organized and mostly in stock. Didn't have a problem searching for my items. There is a Starbucks and a CVS located inside this Target. Parking: plenty of parking. It's located in the same plaza with Dollar Tree, Ross, and Ulta. Tip: download the Target app to find more coupon deals There wasn't a crowd to worry about and they are keeping the health and safety regulations in tact. Really bad smell at this store. Towards the back by the produce, there was an even worse smell. It straight smelled like I came for a certain item that the app said they had and I found none. I couldn't even find the empty spot where it would be stocked. I mean it was pretty stocked but geez the smell!! That's probably why it is so stocked. Parking is pretty horrid. 3 cars trying to get into one spot closest to the entrance, horrible drivers and people do not look where they are going. This area is heavily congested as well with poor drivers on busy streets.... There's a few businesses near the target like Starbucks, Panda Express, Ulta. This is one of the worst Target I've been to. Complete. Chaos. And my experience has been consistent over a handful of trips. First, the lot is big but there are tons of cars who take up a space and a half. People even park at the Order Pickup designated spaces. This isn't the fault of the retailer, but it reflects on the patrons. Nobody is assigned to corall the carts. The space where they are supposed to be kept was empty on several visits. There are stacks of them in the parking lot, so customers should grab one before entering. The shelves are a mess. Customers throw stuff everywhere. There are empty spaces where products are supposed to be. Good luck getting all the things on your list. The worst part is the checkout lanes. It's much worse here than other Targets. Only half of them are staffed. I realize they are trying to get people in the self checkout, but having 25 people waiting their turn is ridiculous. That line twists and bends like the line for Hamilton tickets. I've heard people describe Target as a place where customers are willing to pay a bit more so they don't have to go to Walmart. It seems like every time I go to this location, there are no shopping carts. I always get the excuse that the cart guy is on break. Basically, you need to find your own cart outside and bring it in. For some reason, this Target always screws up our curbside pickup orders. My husband goes here because it's on the way home from picking up our baby. The associates outside are usually quick and friendly but on more than one occasion, they've messed up our orders. One time, they decided to substitute some items without telling us. Luckily we noticed before driving off, but they made us go into the store to return the items we didn't pick out. With a baby in the backseat, this was pretty annoying. While it's nice that they throw the orders in the trunk for you, it's super frustrating to get home and realize that items are missing. Last night my husband drove all the way back to the store to get the missing items and while the manager was friendly, the associate insinuated that the items couldn't have been missing because they don't mess up big orders (???) and gave major attitude. Dude was probably having a bad day. And for the inconvenience, the manager asked the associate to give a $5 gift card/credit but the credit didn't even work when we tried (another waste of time). We never have any issues with curbside pickup at the Duarte and Baldwin Park locations. I wish this location were better. read more

This evening I popped in looking for a specific item and a nice employee wandered with me trying to locate it. When we were unsuccessful he offered to check other local stores. The entrance of this Target is giving swamp meet. People are selling things at every corner, even with blankets laid out on the floor. A well groomed woman with a cellphone is always sitting at the entrance begging people for money while her baby girl is sitting on the bare floor or on the dirt in the bushes. Out of all the Target Stores I've been to, this seems to be one of the better ones. I still needed to grab a few items for the upcoming trip so I went through here and found what I needed. Not exactly what I was looking for but did not enjoy the long lines at the register. I've roamed every aisle in this place and seems way cleaner than the other locations. I do get Target team members asking me if I needed help looking for something and they've pointed me in the right direction. I've purchased many things from here and left here quite quickly because of short lines and enough competent cashiers to get everyone on their way. Tonight I think was something going on because it was crowded everywhere I went. Must be an odd night. read more
