This Target is soooo unclean and unkept. Yes, there shelves are stocked well. However don't attempt to use their restrooms or dressings rooms. Their employees sit around chatting vs cleaning and assisting customers. The dressing rooms are filled w clothes, they hand u a # and u enter a dirty room as they stay seated chatting amongst one another. After visiting my neighborhoods Target store in Signal Hill, I now understand what a filthy target looks like. They need to assign duties to upkeep that stores cleanliness!! I recently moved from Torrance to Redondo and was so excited to have a Target so close by. The first time I went I was SHOCKED at how disorganized messy and short stocked it was compared to the Target on Sepulveda! I will drive out of my way from now on to shop at the Sepulveda Target instead of going the .5 mile away Target right near me because of how difficult it is to shop at this one. The employees don't greet you they seem more concerned with when their breaks are and chatting with each other than helping a customer. One time the portal where you slide your card kept kicking me out, and the cashier chick literally said nothing and awkwardly stared at me trying to get it to work. What is going on with this location? It is always low on inventory and the place is dirty! It is not like any Target I've ever visited. I was truly in shock with how unkept this place was during a boring Tuesday night. There was literally towels and linens just lying on the floor and the bathrooms were really gross. There are 5 Targets around me but this one I like because it's located near the South Bay Galleria so I usually do all my shopping in one area. They have lot's of parking outside or in their parking garage. This Target is always clean, organized, and well stocked. The employee's are friendly and I never seem to be in line long, unlike other locations. This store is fairly new so it looks modern and up to date. Their $1 spot is not as big or impressive as other Target's but other than that I will rank this Target in my top 3 :) read more

My absolute favorite Target, that is when I feel like taking the extra few mile drive. The store is always clean and well stocked and there is never any lines because most of the time all lanes are open. Cashiers are always friendly, as well as at their mini food court.Their is plenty plenty parking outside of store and in the structure. I've found this to be one of the 'better' local Target stores in the area (the Manhattan store is always crowded). The prices are pretty darn good. Selection is decent. Seems pretty clean. This is by far my favorite Target location. First I love the parking structure. Covered parking is great for those really hot days and when its raining. When it comes to this location, it is always fully stocked and never crowded. I definitely like to come to this location when I can take my time to browse instead of my usual get the essentials in 15 minutes. read more

When I'm in the area I love this Target if I need to grocery shop. One stop shopping is great! I love the clothes selection at this location and can find what I need in other departments. I don't like the second level entrance because it makes no sense when they could have made more room for more registers and space for patrons to stand in line. The lines are horrible and they rarely call for back up or even open up the express lines. Cashiers are extremely sloooooowwww and not very friendly. They keep talking to their coworkers while they are ringing you up which I find rude. When a customer leaves its polite to say thank you and have a nice day. Some of them just hand you your receipt, no eye contact, and no thank you while still speaking to their coworker. Seriously this Target is lacking customer service big time! This is absolutely the worst store ever! Not only are the people who work there extremely tired and overworked but they treat you as if you are bothering them by just standing there and asking them for help. One occasion, I accidentally left my card at their electronic side after being lied to that they could price match with their own app. They overcharged and hence I went to a cashier to finalize my purchases so I can head to customer service. Realizing the mistake I made I asked if the cashier could call the electronics department and let them know I was on my way to pick it up. Her answer was "I don't have their phone number, if you want your card you could walk over there yourself, now do you want a bag?" Not only that but after running to see if my card was there, to my surprise it was on top pf the customer service counter for anyone to see and for anyone to take a picture of my card. There was no staff, no one was there to explain why my card was still there, it had been moved from the pin pad and simply placed there as if saying "well shell be back sometime soon" .I was in utter shock and after speaking with someone I was quickly dismissed and treated like one more unhappy customer. The second time the person behind their own customer service decided to treat me as if anything I had to say was non intelligent nor worth of her time. I was in this case in the presence of my child and unfortunately could not answer her the way I wanted to. In short, save yourself the trouble and head to another location. This store behaves worse than any walmart Ive been to and that is saying a lot. read more

My favorite target, convenient to my family and me. I usually go at night after 6pm, the staff is great and very helpful. Today I came in around noon-2pm. I was at the self-checkout, I scanned all my items and three items were a different price from what I saw on the rack where I grabbed it from. So I asked the young man that was working at the self checkout to verify the item so he calls someone called Eric and Eric goes check the item, then Eric comes back and says "can you show me where you grabbed those items" so I grab the cart and my two year old, I show him and he shows me that the price tag is on the top of the rack and the bottom price is for the item under that price tag, I say ok, and when I come back to where my items were already scanned, the young man tells me to go back to make line ..... excuse me no I'm not going to do that. He tells me "other people are waiting" I say yes I was waiting too and all I needed was a price tag from a supervisor. I don't think it was necessary for me to go show him in the first place, supervisor could have just let me know the price tag was at the top, I am quite short and I understand for my height sometimes I can't see farther up. In all, this young man does not have any customer services what so ever. Very disappointed with the customer service. I don't know if he is new but I am very disappointed. read more

There are few times in life when you can call someone a hero. I have the distinct privilege of naming three. My son is four months old. My Fiancé was driving from San Diego and she happened to forget an essential part of her breast pump. It was 11:51 PM. Target closes at 12. Jasmine answered the phone and was able to get Carolina to bring the breast shield to the last open register. Bryan was kind enough to stay open a little bit of time after closing allowing me to rush over from Lawndale. I was able to bring it home in time so my Fiancé didn't have to hand express the whole 6+ ounces. This is what customer service is all about. read more

The target employees in the electronic area don't provide good customer service. I asked one employee with glasses for some help which she did for a little while; unfortunately, she just left me standing around in order to go the back and she just acted like I didn't exist anymore. I just brushed it off, so I asked another employee to help me with the same problem long story short he said he would help me but in the end, he pretended like I didn't exist went on to help new customer's who were interested in buying televisions which wasted 16 minutes of my time. Something has to be done because I talked to other customers who experienced the same issue. read more

I am a Target addict and have been to a ton of them. This location is by far my favorite of them all. It is clean, spacious, and I never have to wait in line a long time. Parking is great under the building or in the parking lot. There is a Starbucks inside too. Jeff, the pharmacist, is so helpful and friendly. Most of the employees are great, especially the women who works the dressing room and answers the phone. Sometimes I hear the cashiers talking about their own co-worker drama, but that can be entertaining :) Overall LOVE it. read more

Target, you're a hair away from turning into a Walmart.....and that's not good. This store is not well maintained and managed. You only need to get out of your car and head for the entrance to come upon three large trash receptacles overflowing and spilling onto the path to determine this. It's quite disgusting and off-putting to walk past, it's utterly foul. This is not how loyal Target customers want to be greeted at a store we spend a pretty substantial amount of money in....keeping trash cans emptied is a no-brainer and there is literally no excuse that this is not maintained. Furthermore, the carpeted floor on the lower level is filthy....again, who the hell is the manager of this store??? If you don't have employees on a cleaning schedule, you need to go back to school, management 101. The ladies restroom is an absolute abomination and you should be ashamed to have any customer go in there to use it. Target employees are hit and miss, some of very helpful and courteous, others seem indignant that they have to do their jobs...are there no standards anymore for Target personnel?? Your employees should be well-mannered and efficient, not sloppy, lazy, and inappropriate. I emphasize that some are very good, and some are not, for those who are not, I suggest the manager refer to your own hiring standards and remind them of the expectation to work at Target, and if there is no standard with which to gauge their performance, then Target won't last much longer. I only write this review because I have been noticing that this Target is consistently a mess and before I jump ship and defect to another store, I want to give this place a chance to course correct. Keeping a store clean is low-hanging fruit for customer satisfaction, if you can't do that or can't be bothered, know that your customers have many choices and won't tolerate this indifference much longer.
