This Target location is very convenient to anyone living in the northwest area of Peoria. The store is very clean and the staff are friendly. The selections and variety available are always spot on and ready to go when new sales arrive. I recently found the limited release Harry Potter collection that is hitting the stores for Fall 2026 and was tickled pink. This is my go to Target and I shop here often. Highly recommend in store shopping or drive up and go. That system runs very well also. read more

I don't typically write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience from today. I visited this Target location with my mother to purchase clear bags for the Diamondbacks game. While checking out, we made a casual comment about how strict stadium policies have become. In response, the cashier began sharing strong personal opinions that were completely unrelated to our conversation. She stated that "kids who protested for terrorists and molesters were wrong" and went on to express her support for ICE and the military. Regardless of personal beliefs, these comments were inappropriate to bring up in a customer service setting. Employees represent the company while on the clock, and conversations involving political or highly sensitive topics can make customers uncomfortable. This interaction felt unprofessional and out of line for a retail environment. For all she knew, I could have been a corporate secret shopper evaluating the store experience. I believe this situation should be addressed appropriately, whether that means additional training, a formal write-up, or other corrective action to ensure professionalism is maintained. For reference, this occurred at approximately 12:30-1:00 PM at lane 8. I visit this location often, but this experience was disappointing and concerning. read more

I had back surgery and will need future surgeries. I entered Target with my walker and before I could even attempt to fold it to put it inside the riding cart Target provides, an employee rushed over to ask me if he could put my walker at customer service. I was able to buy all I wanted without my walker taking up so much space. I expected to only buy the necessary things for that day that would fit in my walker after I returned the riding cart to the charging station. I paid, rode the cart to my car and unloaded everything. I drove back inside the store, picked up my walker and walked out with just my purse. I have used the riding carts and put my folding walker inside at 2 different grocery stores and Walmart with a greeter. No one has ever told me their customer service provides that service. Another thing i will say about my experience at Target is the cart was exceptionally clean. I happened to have white jeans on and expected to find dirt on them, but I did not. This is a super Target so I will not be shopping anywhere else. BTW, I was asked by the cashier if I needed help out. I didn't this day, but often do. Clearly, Target employees are trained to help anyone in a riding cart because I was asked several times if they could get something for me or just a general hello, can I help you in any way? If you use the riding carts for any reason, I encourage you to go to Target. I imagine all Targets are similar. I'm just happy the one closest to me is so wonderful! read more

It's Christmas. This should be the time of being happy but no. Target likes to treat their customers like criminals. I was at the self check out and just because I was holding two items in my hand while trying to scan all of my items and make sure everything went in properly the machine started spazzing out so they told me I was no longer allowed to scan my own items I said OK if the machines messing up I'll just take everything to a different register no big deal. No they treated me like I was a criminal trying to steal their three dollar items and they wanted to do everything for me and monitor me and watch me and watch every move I was making. I have never felt so disrespected in my life Then the employees didn't want to even try to talk to me or make this right they just continue to treat me like a criminal and then have the worst attitude towards me when I was upset. I didn't yell I didn't curse or anything I calmly tried to talk to them. Do better target. Do better. I spent thousands and thousands of dollars at the store. And now I never want to go back. I've been to a lot of Targets in the area and if I have time for a leisurely Target run, this is hands down where I'm headed. The store is well designed, spacious, and well stocked and seems to have more inventory than some others. I haven't tried out drive up or pick up orders, but there's also never been much of a wait to check out and plenty of self check stations if you're trying for a quick in and out. read more

Customer service is apparently something non existent anymore, target must make enough money they don't care to make sure their employees are properly trained. We came to this target last week (not our normal target) because we were getting dinner near by. I had some toddler shorts I needed to return as the had a hole in the stitching. I had received them from my mom like 2 months ago, washed them and just kept forgetting to return them. We walk in and Dean is at the customer service desk... immediately upon walking towards the counter he says "how can I help you" in a very unpleasant tone as if his job was to just stand there and do nothing, so helping customers was a disruption to him. I had him the shorts and let him about the hole, he looks at the tiny little tag and says "I can't read this, it's like they have been washed a lot" like dude, you can tell they are new, idk if it's targets printing or what, but to try and be rude over $4 is insane. He proceeds to say "I can try for like 5 minutes, but I don't think I'll get this" so I told him to just throw them away. I'm not going to be accused of whatever he felt like he was trying to accuse me of over 4 freaking dollars, unreal to have trash service. If he was nice about it, it would have been a different story. Brand new shorts (well a couple months old as my mom is out of state, and I had them for a bit before able to try and return them) maybe target should change their policy on cat & jack clothing because I know people take advantage of it, and yet some who doesn't like me has to deal with the nasty service from it. So we go and do our shopping, we found a pop socket originally $30 on sale for 11.99. I scanned it with the app and it came up normal price, so I took a picture of the tag to show the cashier as I assumed it was either placed wrong or maybe just didn't ring up in the app correctly. The tag was the correct item in the right place, but I didn't look at the sale ticket tell after we left (worker clearly didn't place it in the correct spot) I show the cashier after it rings up normal price and she says "well maybe it's just an online sale" I said "this is in store.... This picture is of your tags in the store just now" and she replies "what are you wanting me to do with it?" I was so at a loss, like I couldn't believe this was what I was dealing with that I was being questioned by the cashier what I wanted her to do.... Ummmm is that not self explanatory? I'm so confused and lost at the service and common sense of this place. She calls someone over, and they tell her to discount it. I can absolutely guarantee no one thought to mention to the electronic department to remove the tag, but that's not my problem. The picture is of tag, was not expired. I know so many smart, very friendly people that can not get jobs (probably over qualified) but yet his is the type of people we are stuck dealing with. I've used target as my place for baby registration for 2 children. I've shopped here over the years for countless hard earned dollars worth of groceries and items for my family. Today the woman at the guest assistance counter was incredibly rude and judgmental. I came to return a bouncer and 2 boxes of diapers that were gifted to me from my registries but are now too small for my new baby and unopened. She acted like I didn't have a registry and immediately asked a manager to come assist as if somehow we were creating a scam by trying to return small diapers to purchase a size larger. It was incredibly insulting. The manager was helpful and kind. If you're going to use a person at the guest help desk that's unkind to guests you should rethink the strategy. Will not return. Buy Buy Baby is much kinder. read more

This store is always clean and mostly stocked. I haven't been out much since March (quarantine) but I recently came here to buy some much needed things. Everyone had a mask on! (A few customers had them below their noses but not many, and all employees were properly masked). When we entered the store, an employee was there sanitizing all carts. There were signs all over the store reminding people to social distance. When we checked out, there were social distance markers by the check-out section and employees sanitizing registers between customers. Target has always been my favorite store. This Target is closest to me so I always shopped there, but after the "renovations" I am skipping my Target runs altogether. The organization of the store makes no sense anymore and shopping here is a chore. You can't just run in and get what you need because you spend a ridiculous amount of time wandering around looking for the things you want. In addition, the variety of items and inventory has really changed. Maybe to make room for the Ulta section. Such a stupid idea since there is an Ulta store across the street! I placed an order on Christmas Eve 2023 for a last minute gift, which was a small electronic device. My order was cancelled by Target but they allowed the Shipt Shopper, Melissa to buy an IPAD costing over $500 for herself on my account! Needless to say Christmas was ruined! I went to the store within hours and they could not help Fulfillment Manager instructed me to call SHIPT as there was nothing they could do. After contacting Shipt they tried to call the shopper, surprise, surprise she did not answer. Shipt Agent agreed this was indeed a fraudulent transaction and promised to reverse the charge immediately PLUS give a $5 gift card for my inconvenience. I ALSO Contacted REDCARD and TARGET.COM to report FRAUD, what a nightmare! Nearly two weeks and a comedy of errors by TARGET staff and still issue is not yet resolved! Promised a gift card for my trouble and not even that was received. Requested a new RED CARD and it was not even processed for nearly two weeks. DO NOT get DELIVERY from TARGET because SHIPT nor TARGET will address FRAUD timely. read more

This is a Super Target and it's way better than the regular Target at Arrowhead. Grocery selection. I like their Archer Farms brand. This one is much cleaner, they have self check out too! I drive further to visit this Target. Pretty good selection of merchandise and plenty of parking too. The few times I interacted with an employees, they seemed nice and helpful. i visited today with my daughter around 11am and I was behind a lady and her grandson. She was being so rude to the lady ringing her up. She acted like she was in the 40's and wouldn't hand her the money and wouldnt say anything so the lady asked her if she wanted to pay with it and she snarked at her. She asked was there something wrong with the money and the lady said usually people say ok or hand it to her. Obviously she can't grab it because then she would complain then too. She was trying to get the change and she called her ignorant and she said that's your job. The lady said we need to know when you want to pay and she again tells her that's her job. My daughter said she isn't a servant and the lady agreed and said it too. The customer became more rude and the lady called over her manager who just treated the lady working like she was wrong. He told her to get air like she was upset and she wasn't. That manager is ALWAYS rude to us but to be mean to the lady was shocked. After I paid I told her to not let them get to her and she should not be pushed off by him. We are not going to go back anymore is this how you treat them that work for you. We always come to her line because she sweet and warm kind. He could've asked and we would've told him. He doesn't like her and said sorry like we were upset. He is horrible. read more

Did I just die or go to Target Heaven? How have I not been in here before? I was out to lunch with my daughter and we decided to head towards Lake Pleasant and see what we could find. I love Target so to a see a Super Target I just had to check it out. Let me tell you my eyes lit up the second those beautiful electric doors opened into the mass amounts of stuff I don't need that I definitely was now going to buy lol. I told my daughter last week we could go shopping for a new purse for her. There were just rows and rows of them! The Target I usually go to has a tiny section so it's hard to find anything because it's picked through so fast. I loved the fact that this had such a huge grocery store. I was dreading the fact that i still had to get groceries after I was done running around so I was so happy to be able to do it here. While walking the store for well over an hour I still hadn't made it through the entire store and could probably see myself in there for another hour or two. At the halfway point through the store my stop for a purse turned into a full cart of groceries, three purses, two wallets , bathing suit, a dog toy because I can't forget my girl Blue ha ha, shoes, bookshelf and cactus lights. Who says I have a problem? Needless to say if you love Target, shopping, a one stop shop for all then this is awesome. Lastly we decided to use the self checkout and my cartwheel app. The man working the self check out was so friendly, funny and helpful and made everything go so smooth. I love how my cartwheel app linked to my target card and it completes everything for me without having g get out my wallet and all that Jazz. read more
