There's no Target in Downtown LA (which we need desperately!!) so I have to venture to different Targets for what I need. I was told Pasadena was the quickest to get to...kinda...mostly freeways to get there but still 20 minutes. Now to the store...Who knew parking could be so easy! We went on a Saturday just after lunch which is when the Weho one is JAMMED. We found a spot right up front in the parking lot near the entrance. No waiting in line to get to 2nd level was a nice change...and not waiting for the stupid person in front of me to figure out how to take a parking ticket was also nice...ahh suburbia. We walked in, grabbed a cart...was greeted by security and looked around at how big this one is and it has 28 registers YAY! The store was laid out similar to most Target stores so it didn't take long to adjust. We got everything we needed and more as usual. The check out line was pretty quick. I am not real happy with one of the Baby Specialists here. I asked her if the store had any back stock of a certain Enfamil formula that I needed. She said that she might but that she would not bring any more out of I had more than 5 in my possession already. She said that the store had a limit of 5 per person. She did not tell me why there was a 5 can limit of formula. She only kept insisting that I not take more than 5 off of the shelf. I told her that some of the cans were dented and what not and that I didn't want damaged cans of formula. So, I was asking for a few more. I didn't notice that behind one of the other Enfamil blends that there were a few more of the blend that I needed. I took those instead and told her that there were enough of what I needed. She asked me to confirm that I didn't have more than 5 in my hand. I told her that I didn't but I did. I hurriedly walked to my cart and put 'em in there. She was none the wiser. I went to the register with my 8 cans and I explained to the manager my reason for needing 8 cans. He said that he'd allow it and that it wasn't a problem. He took the time to explain to me why there was a limit at all. He told me that he wished that the other person hadn't given me such a hard time. I told the manager that I'd also explained my situation to her but that she not only was rude to me but didn't care to hear it. She gave me such a hard time. I was upset. My husband went to snap at her even. Sheesh. Their parking lot is full of rude and horrible drivers. I don't see how you're to take a left turn into the lane furthest left of you. The truck that did that ended up honking at me because I was in their way as I was walking to my car, pushing my child's stroller in front of me. I turned around and had to show them that they were in the lane that was opposing traffic. Seriously?!?! I was getting more and more mad at the people here. If it weren't for Carlos, the manager, understanding my frustration and what not, and if he hadn't explained to me why there was a limit on formula, I think I would have genuinely lost it! This is my favorite target. It is one floor but always fully stocked with items, clean, and you can easily find someone on the floor to assist you. They have a great dollar section as well. This store is organized especially compared to other targets. The parking lot is also a decent size but on busy days you may have to end up parking a little further than you'd like. There is a nice, clean Starbucks inside and a sandwich place (I have never tried it so no comments there) the Starbucks is good but since it is a smaller Starbucks at times there is one person working the front while a coworker is taking a break etc. So it can become busy and you can wait a while. Overall this is my go to target even though I live closer to the one on Lake. The one on Lake is okay but this one is definitely the cleanest and more organized stores that is almost always stocked with items. They even have good clearance items for a great price. read more

My wife was shopping nearby, so I decided to stop in Target and browse around. It seemed like an average size store, with clean restrooms! The store had the usual items and seasonal things too. The floors were clean and the store was brightly lit. The only thing I didn't like was the parking lot. It seemed like it didn't have enough parking spots, and it was slightly on an angle. I don't think there was anymore parking underground? I'm guessing it was a strangely graded lot. read more

I've lived in Pasadena for 25 years and never experienced the type of service I did at this E. pasadena Target. The employees are really unprofessional! (I can't believe they hire such unprofessional people like this) Target has gone way down in class ....I would rather shop at Walmart! The employee that was helping me was named Andre (he was at the guest service part of the store) ...he was so rude and unprofessional. My dad is really elderly (handicap) , he was disrespecting him the whole time and inpatient with him. He kept rolling his eyes. That's just really unprofessional and can turn many customers away. I own three businesses and customer service is number one. I will NEVER ever return to this target again...and the customers that where behind me obviously will never return again. I came to this store like about a month ago to buy some baby formula milk. I was helped out at the register by the lady, I don't really remember her name, but I'm pretty sure it started with an M. I think it was Marilyn, but anyways, that lady really deserves a raise. Pro: good selection of baby clothes and maternity stuff Con: registry overall is terrible. I have read such great reviews about targets registry and have experienced the opposite. The first target I experienced this with was the fox hills mall target. I had to register online and they had no gift bags and no scanners- people had them or so they said but no one was walking around with them! Then I went back and still no gift bag. I decided to go to Pasadena, where I was visiting family and this store also had no gift bags, they said they usually get shipments every 2 weeks but they hadn't received any in a month. They did let me know that they don't use scanners, just the app for the registry. I called the other target on Colorado per their suggestion and no one answered. The store tried and no one answered... seriously!! No service no support. I am pregnant obviously and hormonal but this should not be the most challenging part of this process. One of my favorite stores has to be Target. They always have great prices on everyday things I need. My only complaint about my most recent visit was the cashier who helped me. Very nice store. The staff is very friendly and it's often not too crowded as compared to the one near the Lake avenue. I am so beyond upset right now... So, my son watches nick jr... And as you all may know nick jr. Has shows such as paw patrol, Peppa pig, shimmer and shine and many more shows. My son goes to day care where, there happens to be more girls than boys so granted there are "girl toys" around. One of the little girls just recently got a new peppa pig set of toys. My son wanted one too.. He has been talking about getting peppa pig toys for the last two days. Tonight my fiancé and I decided to go to target to buy his toy along with some other need household goods. We went to the target in Pasadena Ca on the corner of Colorado and St madre. While there we were looking though the toy section looking for some type of peppa pig toy and they had nothing. Not one peppa pig toy! So we told my son to pick something else. He chose a set of shimmer and shine dolls. We continued to shop (which during the whole time my son was so excited about his shimmer and shine dolls)and when we were done we went to check out! When we were checking out the cashier who's name was crystal felt the need to ask me if the dolls were for my son. When I said yes she made the ugliest facial expression and said "oh no, you can't buy him dolls he is a boy. Dolls are for girls. Why are u buying him those." I couldn't believe what she said. I told her that's what my son wanted so in buying him those dolls. At that point my son began to cry. He was so upset that she said those dolls weren't for him. She looked at me and said "oh no" and proceeded to ring me up for the rest of the items. I remained calmed finished checking out and my fiancé took my son to the car while I waited to speak to her supervisor. His name was Juan. I explained to him what happened and I expressed to him how unprofessional, inappropriate, and down right absurd it was for this employee to tell me that I can't buy my three year old son a set of dolls. The supervisor who was of no help at all offered me a gift card so that I may buy a drink from Starbucks and "cool off" I jut can't believe this whole experience. It was my understanding that target was very accepting and non-discriminatory. I just can't believe this. I am so upset. It it no ones business what I chose to buy nut son or not buy my son. I chose to not subject my toddler to today's society's gender discrimination. Who says boys can't play with dolls!! That target employee had no right telling me I cannot buy my son the toy he wants because "it's for girls"!! And how dare she make my son cry.. I don't even know what else to say... Need to get in and out? Not a problem with this Target. Everything is clearly marked and in its place. The aisles are left neat and clean, and the staff is always very friendly. This is easily my favorite Target store. I usually run in for my day to day toiletries, and I never have a problem finding them. Even when I'm in a rush, I can usually find quick parking, and the lines move fairly quick. read more

Came in to buy formula for my daughter using WIC and everyone was helpful and polite. The formula itself was locked up with a button on the side to call for assistance. Pressed and it said someone will be with you in 60seconds which I thought wow, she did come although I didn't keep track of the time I didn't wait very long and she was very friendly and helpful. The cashier was over the top friendly and helpful, I have never used WIC before I was nervous about holding up the line or causing a problem but she was very assuring and the process went smoothly only problem was looking for a pen but she found one within seconds. I didn't get her name but she seemed new or maybe she didn't get a lot of WIC customers but she made the whole process quick and easy. Change is good, so they say. Change is often implemented after one determines that their current state/situation is unsatisfactory and needs updating. From my experience, change is neither good nor bad but rather...different. Upon the end of my most recent relationship, we decided that things were more or less..."redefined". I know, most people find this to be a bullshit concept, and I won't entirely deny it. But, if change is ultimately for the better, isn't only "good" then the inevitable? So there, my optimism stands (just let me buy into my own fallacies). What does this have to do with anything? Nothing really, but I needed some kind of interesting segue. This Target actually used to be a FedCo. Does anyone even remember FedCo? If not, it was basically a Costco, except much dumpier and scattered, and I don't think everything was sold in bulk. So I'd say in this case, change is not just good, but really good. Because Target is a hell of a lot better than that old dumpy discounter FedCo. The nice thing about this location is that it's often forgotten about as there is another Target on Colorado. This means that the Go! Collections aren't ravaged and picked over as quickly. I actually found the Rogan shorts romper a month after its release, and when I previously tried finding it at other Target stores, it was a fruitless effort. Needless to say, I was pretty stoked. Beyond that, seems like there's generally less foot traffic, so parking is breezy, as well as are the check-out lines. However, not a huge fan of the store's layout, there's just something about it that doesn't make much sense to me like most Target stores. But, that's forgivable I suppose. So yeah, change is good. DO NOT USE Merchandise Pick Up! You'll be standing in line for a very long time. Target has one line for returns, gift registry, and in store pick ups. The returns take up most of their time, very slow system. They use ONE iPad mini to fill their orders, which means they can only take one customer at a time. I scanned around 500 old, black and white family photos, and they told me they "destroyed them." I scanned them one month ago, visited the store today, and *poof*! the entire kodak photo department is gone, and according to the target employee any photos/CDs were "destroyed." I absolutely love this target, it's at a convenient location near my work place which is always a plus! Who doesn't love that? Parking is always good here the staff are nice and helpful. Another Plus is this target is pretty massive it has everything. Tip use ur cartwheel app, download it on your smartphone! You"ll never know you might save extra money on tax and more just from using it. It's really useful its all your coupons in one and on top of the sale price target has going on.
