This is the best target in the city, probably because is occupies Fedco's old lot.

Living in Temple City, I'm located between two Target locations. One in Rosemead, the other here in Pasadena. Even though the Rosemead store is closer, I always go to the Pasadena location instead. I don't have any particular reason why. I just like it better. And no it doesn't have anything to do with Fedco. Lol! I'm a huge Target fan, so I have nothing to complain about. I love target, I do a lot of shopping with this chain of stores. I have noticed lately that a lot of the locations around are crowded and dirty. I have also noticed they are not stocked up on things I need, this location is a perfect example of that. read more

Seeing as I can't seem to exit the freeway without turning and stopping at this Target, I would be remiss if I didn't give this oh so wonderful playground a review. Love the pharmacy, love the kids dept, love every dept. Its scary how much money I spend at Target but I have a big S on my head. I have several skirts I bought for almost nothing that have held up great and I always get compliments. If you love to shop but dont have and unlimited cash flow then this is paradise. Plenty of parking spaces available even if the lot seems full. Youre bound to find parking. On to the Target associates, they are friendly and informative when i needed to find a couple of items. This review is strictly for the pharmacy. Ever since cc's took over it has gone to shit. Unorganized and understaffed to the max. At 8:30 pm, there is only one tech and one pharmacist and a line with 10 ppl in it. Tech Can't "find "my prescription but when I asked the pharmacist to double check, lo and behold it's there. I like this Target. I come here occasionally when I'm in the area. This location is large and is usually clean, organized, and well stocked. The only thing I don't like is that the parking is a bit tight. I came here this weekend and they were out of shopping carts, but I saw why...the store was bustling with customers, probably because everything was on sale. Last week I went to target after work it was packed. Almost 6pm anyway I grabbed some milk and some other things. Got in line one person in front of me.i put my stuff down the. Manager Marissa told the checker who looked right at me and said I'm closed. REALLY ok I got put of line got in another line with 10 people ahead of me no sooner do I get in line that the manager got behind the check-in stand and started to take people and check them out I was freaking pissed I don't think that's good management I don't think it's right I was already there in line and they told me to get out of line and then as soon as I got out of line they opened up the checkstand that I was already in. Whatever this is more of just a complaint against the management not against the store Marissa is not a good manager. I don't think she knew how to handle all of the lines. This Target has been steadily going downhill. Quite frankly, it's a dump. I recently visited this store on a weekday, late in the afternoon. The shelves in the grocery department were a mess, and virtually empty! There wasn't anyone around re-stocking either! The women's clothing department was in total disarray! Clothes on the floor, off their hangers, and don't even get me started on the clearance section. The last piece of contention is all their empty carts, unmanned, sitting in the aisles. You can barely push your cart around without having to MOVE an empty one out of the way! If I wanted to shop at WalMart...I'd go there! I expect way more from Target, but this location has slipped through the cracks. Whoever is running this store should be retrained or moved to a store that is more manageable! read more

This Target is perfectly acceptable, nothing special. It is very convenient to my apartment and it's easy to stop by there on my way home from work. The parking is spacious. It has a lower-level and I have never had a problem finding a place to park. I like that it has self-checkout. Betty (supervised cashiers) worse customer service ever. Ok I went today to exchange my WIC checks and everything was ok until I have to pick the bread, none of the bread have the WIC stickers, so I grab one of the ones I assumed it will be. When I was at the register the cashiers told me the item I picked was not and WIC item and need to call the manager to approved. Then when Betty appear and told me " unfortunately we don't have WIC bread" "ok. What are my options ?" She said "You can take like that or go to the others store, because that is a GOVERMENT help and if we don't have the item you have the option to go to other place" "can you tell if I can take other kind of grain instead of the bread?" I asked her " no, sorry I don't know. You are the one have to be educated,no me. I don't know" she was really rude to me read more

This location falls short of customer service. The management team does not hold their employees accountable. My visit on 11/15 started with getting Starbucks. The 2 females were very rude, and it was bother, they were much more interested about how often they wash their cars, one customer got in line and exited, the two females were that rude. As I get my shopping cart you have 2 male employees standing in the main aisle talking with 2 females, some flirting going on. They had the aisle blocked, customers were trying to walk thru, both males looked without even moving. Each time I visit the service continues to lack, it's social hour. I can remember several years ago this location had great service, looks as changes with management is not putting customers first. read more

I needed to get clothes for my daughter at the last minute and this particular Target is the only open to 11PM (everything closes between 9 and 10). The prices are reasonable, the lines were short, the staff was friendly. Not bad. read more

Everyone needs Target whether you like it or not ... this one is the XXL version and they are always well stocked. The only thing that is sometimes a little off-putting is the long lines at the check out ... but they are always monitoring the situation and open extra check out counters if lines become too long ... but still ... There is a Starbucks inside and nowadays also free WIFI! read more

I love this target! I was amazed at the abundance of variety of stuff they had! I found very awesome things used for cooking/baking which I do a lot and I am a fan of Coca-Cola and I found CHERRY COKE & VANILLA COKE. I am amazed only because its hard to find around my side of town :( So I definitely took advantage and I also bought some Sock Monkey slippers that were on clearance and I LOVE sock monkey so it was definitely a good buy! read more

i love target! who doesn't?came to the optical department because i was in need for glasses/contacts. i had a great experience. Dr. Patel is so informative and was able to help me out since my vision is horrible. Victor helped me out with setting up my glasses order and helped me out by making sure I can get the glasses I really wanted since my vision is bad. I was able to get the glasses I wanted, and i LOVE them! and they were ready within 3-4 days! soo fast! would definitely recommend!, and go here for future prescriptions! prices aren't bad considering the fact that I do not have insurance. read more

I drop in about once a week. The store is big, two large levels of everything I need including food and produce. They're also open til 11pm! Store is clean and we'll stocked. Parking lot has three levels so there's always a space. They get 4 stars because the prices are not the cheapest but the convenience, variety and selection are solid. They also have a starbucks and hot food counter. Just beware of the $100 "target" because they almost always hit their mark, even when you were planning to just buy towels and toilet paper. read more

For my birthday and Xmas I got 2 air beds. I went to return one of them and was told that airbeds aren't returnable. What?! Mind you both are in their original packaging. I asked for a gift card since I didn't have the receipt and knew my friend hadn't kept it. I was given no reason for this. Did not give five stars because, there is ALWAYS a shortage of cashiers and the shelves in the grocery department are ALWAYS empty on certain items and I mean...ALWAYS! Although I did find that if you go on Tuesdays the shelves are pretty well stocked. You can't be in a hurry at this target. Checkout lines are the longest in the universe. read more

First portion of review is for the Pharmacy. My family has been coming for years and loved it but since CVS takeover it's not the same. I'll probably start transferring my prescriptions elsewhere as it's not worth the extra drive anymore. Now for the store itself. I really don't like what they have done to the food area taking out the popcorn and basic treats you could once get. I understand this is probably a better financial move but I fell Target is become a market place. What's next is Lens Crafter taking over the optical, some photography studio taking over as well? Not many options as I refuse to shop Walmart but it's not the same. read more
