As soon as I arrived, I was guided to the office and seen by the optician within a few minutes. He introduced himself, asked about the reason for my visit (contact lens fitting), and took his time without rushing me. He listened, gave helpful advice, and even shared some interesting facts about contact lenses I didn't know! After the appointment, he sent me over to the receptionist to schedule a follow-up visit. AMAZING EXPERIENCE! First off...major shout out to my girl DAISY!! She went above and beyond to help me out during my visit here. She went through like a million glasses frames with me and we had such a fun time! She was so professional but so FUN! She made sure that I had all the discounts and the newest and greatest lenses that just came out. Another shout out to VIVIANA who was such a huge help in my super hard and difficult decision of picking the perfect frame lol! This was my first time going to this office and my first time getting a new prescription in like 5 years!! The staff is so kind and understanding. I was having a difficult time getting my insurance information through and I was helped step by step over the phone before my appointment. We weren't able to figure things out the day before but the staff kept at it and I received a call the day of, saying that everything went through and we were good to go! The exam was very quick but efficient. The doctor, Michael Hsieh, was nice and professional. You could tell that he cared a lot! This was the best eye exam experience I've EVER had! I've been wearing glasses for 15 years and can guarantee this is the only place I'll come to ever again. First, I loved the convenience of being able to book an appointment online. Leading up to the appointment, I received confirmation emails and texts, which I appreciated. The staff in front were very kind, helpful, courteous, and made me feel very welcomed. I'm a new patient so I just had to fill out one quick sheet of paperwork. Shortly after, I was greeted by Dr. Hsieh and taken to the back to get things rolling. Dr. Hsieh was very professional, kind, and made me feel very comfortable. He explained every little thing he did and was very accepting of questions and comments I had throughout the appointment. He was very knowledgeable and also gave me the most thorough exam I've ever had! I felt like he genuinely cared about helping me see correctly, which was so nice considering the last place I went to was the complete opposite. The last exam I had, the doctor was cold, rude and annoyed. He just wanted to get the appointment over with. He then messed up my lenses, and lied about it twice to me! Word of advice; NEVER go to Clearview Eye Care in Lancaster, CA. In conclusion, Target Optical was the best eye experience I've ever had. Extremely unprofessional place. I came in for my 3pm appointment only to be told the Dr. Left for the day because I was his only afternoon appointment so he didn't see why he should keep my appointment. I was told they called me earlier even though there is no missed call and no voicemail left by them. No offer to reschedule my appointment and nothing else to say other than he didn't see any reason to keep the appointment because you were his only afternoon appointment so he left for the day. Wow! My husband and I came in for new glasses and the employees were extremely helpful and nice. We both got eye exams done as well and the whole process was quick. They explained everything to us and told us our glasses would arrive in about a week. When they arrived they called us and we went in and made sure everything fit right! We will definitely continue using target optical. read more

Look came here today for frames the service is awesome the guy that was working the front desk was very nice unfortunately all there frames I don't like they don't fit me well at but the service was fantastic and the gentleman was honest and said I can find some of there same glasses at lens crafts at a cheaper price read more

All the people who work here are very helpful especially Thomas! Thomas took his time to help me pick out a great pair of sunglasses and eye glasses (don't like transition lenses) and felt no pressure to hurry or buy any extras. I am a kaiser patient but prefer the selection that they have here at Target Optical. After my great experience, I have since then took my 6 year old son and my husband to get prescription eyewear.
