When I returned I was ready to pay, but he said it was a free courtesy, which surprised me and gave me a lots of joy the rest of the day. My experience with Dr Le was unfortunately not a great one. She kept insisting that my need for corrective lenses was my own fault and that I needed to perform eye yoga on a regular basis to correct this. She insisted that I relax my eyes and try to get the letters on the exam chart to focus during my exam on lines I couldn't normally read. As a result, I had a prescription that provided double vision and an inability to recognize faces, read, or see clearly 20 feet away. She said she intentionally gave me a lower prescription and to keep doing my eye yoga to make the prescription better at home. I came back to the office a week later frustrated and expressed my ongoing concern to Dr. Le. I wasn't able to function properly at work and was consistently getting headaches trying to focus my vision to "normalcy." She was clearly irritated with me and said I wasn't trying hard enough with the eye yoga. I've been wearing glasses for the last 30 years and have never experienced this with any other optometrist. After a bit of resistance she reluctantly gave me a stronger (but still not strong enough) prescription and insisted that I continue doing eye yoga at home. I had to deal with this poor prescription for the rest of the year to avoid additional fitting and exam fees, which continues to be frustrating. My father went here for his glasses and now contacts. He has had contacts before and has never had…read moreany issue with previous optometrists. He arrived at this location today to receive his contact lenses and they tried stating to him that he needs to place the contacts in his eyes while he is in the office. He stated that he is not comfortable doing this because of personal reasons. Instead of the receptionist being understanding and accommodating, she was immediately rude and giving disrespectful attitude towards my father. He suffers from anxiety and to know that such an attitude and disrespect occurred merely because he would have felt more comfortable to do the asked task privately, is outrageous and unacceptable. Many people suffer from different afflictions and to know she treated my father as if he was the issue, know we will not ever recommend this business to anyone, nor will my father return to this place again. Both receptionists, yarissa and another woman need immediate intervention re-guarding their professional attitudes and personal feelings mixing into one.

Each time I have gone in has been great. No complaints. The staff here really care about you and will treat you with respect and more than just a number. I've gone to too many places where it is noticeable they don't care about you or your eyes, just money. This place is not one of them. Every time I've gone in, the staff are chatting with customers asking about their kids/their families. You can tell this place has regulars and that's a green flag in my book. Dr. Everitt is amazing. I went in for new glasses and to try on contacts. I have been trying to find my perfect pair of contacts for the past 3 years. Other optometrists I've been to said my migraines were normal or made excuses for the blurriness by saying "my vision will never be perfect again like it was before I started wearing glasses". Dr. Everitt was the only one who listened to my concerns and tried different options to see which contact prescription and brand works for my eyes. No headaches when I wear contacts and it feels like I'm not wearing anything at all! She is amazing! I also want to give a quick shoutout to the staff who are all so nice and caring. Most recently Desiree and Emily who helped me order contacts and then also gave me some trial contacts to use because my order would not get here in time for my vacation. Thank you!

However, my recent experience with the staff has been quite frustrating. My son went in on February 27th for new glasses, and here we are in April with still no glasses. The excuse given was that they have a new lab and his high prescription takes longer. While I understand that some prescriptions require extra time, we've used Costco for his glasses before, and they had them ready in just a week. Waiting almost two months for glasses is unacceptable, especially when we've never waited this long before. The estimated arrival date is now April 21st, which feels excessive. I've heard that the practice is under new management, which might be contributing to these service delays. While I appreciate Dr. Everette's care, the inefficiencies and lack of communication from the staff have been disappointing. As long-time patients, we expect better service, especially considering the costs associated with our glasses. I hope 20/20 Vision can address these staff issues and improve the overall experience for their patients.
